We ordered 2x vegan versions of the fluffy cassava pancakes for breakfast at 10:30am when it wasn't very busy. We were told there would be a 20min wait in order to make it vegan. We didn't get our food until 11:13am and we were so disappointed with what was on our plate. 3 really small pancakes which tasted raw and chewy, not fluffy at all. We ate it because we were so hungry and we had to check out of our hotel. We didn't complain because we knew we would have to wait longer and also we didn't even like the food. Other people's non-vegan food looked good but I would not recommend the pancakes. Also the service wasn't good.

Disappointingly the food standard has dropped. There’s definitely a change of management & cooks. All the dishes now looks & taste different from before. Burger is super dry, local food like Soto ayam can even be tasteless. It’s worse than any basic restaurant standard. The salad is a joke, just tomatoes, lettuce, strips of carrots, cucumber & capsicums, looks like from street stall. I doubt there’s anything organic about it. With the good cafes & restaurants available in Ubud now, Bali Buda has apparently past it’s time! Patronize at your own risks!!

The food was terrible and we have to wait more than 30 mins for this. The services was bad when the waiters named Juni server us with the bad attitude when deny us to bring extra seat to the table. She said we can move to another places or sit with 2 persons. Finally the other waiter came and help us with the extra chair. Terrible services. And the environment, much more worst. The toilet stink and the kids in the next table keep fighting and screaming. Don’t ever go there

Once again outrageously disappointed by Bali buda !!! How is a jar the size of my finger, filled up HALFWAY 2 portions of yogurt? I’m at the point of disputing the charge with grab The other things I ordered were also served in teeny tiny jars. I now have to order lunch from a different restaurant

Yummy carrot cake. Chewy consistency. Of course no white sugar added. And the hot almond milk is the best you can get in the rainy weather of Ubud. But toilet is dirty.

Incredibly disappointing. It was a bit after 8am when I got there and only one other table was occupied - still, I had to wait 30 minutes for toast, guacamole and roasted vegetables. The toast was cold, the guacamole mediocre at best but a pea-sized amount (equivalent of two spoons) and the vegetables were cold as well. 60+K for this ... a bad joke. Do yourself a favor and go to Sun Sun Warung just right next to this place.

Substainable healthy grocery with endless vegan and gluten free options. Nice selection of local products for health and beauty as well as bakery and full menu. Perfect stop to stock up on snacks and tea for my time in Bali.

I‘d love to give you guys 5 stars because of the delicious food you serve, but your service leaves a lot of room for improvement, to say it kindly. When I enter a restaurant I expect to be greeted, when I order I want to be treated with a smile. And when I finished my dish I want my table to be cleaned without asking. It’s very hard to get your staff‘s attention and when I got it they tell me to "wait a moment" which turns out to be several minutes. I think a trainee for all staff would be helpful because it’s a common problem within your team. The food takes too long for what it is (portions very small regarding the high price). I‘ll come back because I love your food and eco concept, but please consider the points I — and many others — have made and improve your customer service.

extremely poor service ! I was here before they were renovated and it has changed so much (terribly). Air circulation not as good. Asked for Soto Ayam with no chilly, she even said "ok non spicy" , waited 20mins and came with lots of sliced red chillies. Also it was served without rice, had to ask again and wait another 5mins. Drinks was served wrongly. Staff seems not ready to start work and it was 4pm, Bali Budha has become money-making "Retail Oriented" selling lifestyle products and the cafe's service compromised. This will be my last visit.

Bali Buda has something for everyone. Very thoughtful staff. They give reusable bags with large purchases and have lots of organic items. Reusable Straws, orgabic dish washing products and soaps. They also have a high quality Restuarant as well.

Tried the probiotic grilled chicken and bali buda bowl with ayurveda tea. The chicken is tender with less flavor (I think that's the concept of healthy food?), bali buda bowl is so so, and love the ayurveda tea. Their honey oat cookies are good as well. Have your patience due the slow services. Muslim friendly food.

Got papaya juice (not fresh, probably from yesterday, which is not effective to take anymore…) The bowl is ok. But there is too much sugar in sauces and in coconut flakes (call it as you want - coconut sirup, nectar, honey etc… anyway it’s a sugar and there is too much of it in your salad bowl). *Dine in: great, yummy and fast!

This place should be 5 stars, the food is excellent and the price matches with the quality. I ordered the earth bowl and it was full of interesting flavours and fresh veggies. The tea comes in a pot so you easily get 3 cups from it. My favourite meal here in Ubud:)

Food: I had some raw vegan cakes and kombucha. I really liked the cakes. The kombucha was ok (the kombucha at “the clear cafe” for example is much better). Service: very friendly (as always in Bali) Vibe: it’s not really a cozy atomsphere, where you want to hang out for a super long time; you also get free water Summary: very nice if you looking for healthy food and a quick lunch or brunch; buts not really a cozy dinner location

This has become my new favorite restaurant in the world! It's the first keto-friendly place I've found with fantastic dishes! The service is friendly, and there's even a store inside packed with organic food and non-food items! I'm going to miss it after my vacation!

Food is still amazing, but since moving location it has really lost its original ‘vibe’, such a shame as one of the OG cafes in Ubud. Staff are not super friendly compared to other locations in Bali. Recommend the curry pita and chicken pesto wrap, the super berry smoothie and cakes are all amazing.

I order pretty much every day every time I’m in Ubud. I have tried most of their dishes and all of them were delicious and good for my gut. The only dish that disappointed me was the gluten free burger. It doesn’t look like one lol. But still, delicious.

We popped here for a spot of lunch whilst in Ubud. This was a lovely little cafe with some amazing lunch options - we enjoyed a grilled cheese toastie and a berry smoothie. The atmosphere was lovely and relaxed.

4.8 stars/5 Good place with great vibes. Nice clean food at decent prices. Charging points so good for remote working or hanging out. I somehow like the vibes of the Ubud branch better than that of the Renon branch.

We had 2 muffins - not that great. I do not recommend the coffee with cashew milk. The shop is nice. They have gluten free and vegetarian options

Lots of variety in healthy dishes. The menu is in the form of a newspaper - very innovative. Service is good. Though right on the road it's still nice and quiet inside.

The food and coffee were really good. I got delivery and they arrived in sustainable packaging too However I ordered on Gojek, the restaurant accepted my order within 2 mins but then took an hour to make 1 smoothie bowl and 1 coffee - a simple order which should be quick to make. Would not order again because of this

Very disappointed, I used to come here before covid and loved the place. Now the outside terrace is gone, the menu has changed and the quality has gone down quite a bit. But what really was shocking to me was the service. Out of 4 dishes, none arrived at the same time. The last one arrived 45 minutes after being ordered, and it was a salad, just a mix of raw fruits and vegetables, so it should really not take that long. We had to ask 3 times to get water and none of the staff seems to have been trained properly. And the fake bird sounds being played for the hour and half we stayed there was really annoying. I will not be coming back.

Huge choice of dishes, vegan, Indonesian, eropean. The most tasty and healthy cakes, bakery and desserts here. Possible to take away in organic way. Always affable personal. Good prices and ability to pay by card. Also big choice of juices, healthy, healing drinks, different kinds of coffee. And most important they always have whole young coconut. And shop with all organic rare products. I always feel great after having breakfast in BaliBuda!

food are really yummy and price is reasonable. but a little difficult to get assisted since the staffs are always occupied. the jamu drinks is tasty and not diluted at all.

Great, laid back coffee and yoga venue! The space just exudes a calm and relaxed vibe that allows you to slow down and take in the moment… alone or with friends, this is a calming experience in the middle of the hustle of central Ubud.

Love this place. Very peaceful with delicious food. Recommend to try: 1) banana passion fruit stack 2) falafel 3) bean burger

  • 1/5 ILA R. 2 years ago on Google
Food was bland. Chicken is dry and tasteless AF. Boring food accompanied by healthy-good-for-you branding. If you have limited time in ubud and need to make every dining experience count, you’ll have plenty of better opportunities in other places in ubud. Will not go back.

Best coffee in Bali! Thank you Bali Buda for the consistency and beautiful art too. My capuccino here is always paired with the amazing super food cake and the nutbar/ 😋

We had many opportunities to visit this place and we found lights and shadows in our experiences. The food generally is very tasty but the service sometimes can be absolutely awful. We visited for 5 times, the employees are often just a few to manage all the people there, very young in general and not professional as in other places with the same price point. They were making mistakes about the order, sometimes forgetting some items or bringing the wrong food and no supervisor to solve the issues. It’s really a pity that a place that could be 5 stars is so bad managed. In the end the low cost service investment of the owners impacts a lot on the overall customer experience.

The firs time try Bali Buda the food was excellent, but not in Ubud maybe in Sanur. Second time try Bali Buda ubud, the food was average , I have to wait too long for the meal, meanwhile at that time the restaurant not so crowded there is only 4 table.

  • 2/5 Magda K. 1 year ago on Google
Unfortunately the place which looked very promising disaponted us a lot. The servis was awful - we were waiting for at least an hour (there was not sa many customers). If we needed someone - we had to ask (no one came to us itself). And of course the tip for servid was included. The coctails were good and the place looked nice. Main courses weren't special. My ravioli was overcooked.

I got addicted to the cookies here, and ate 1-3 daily after dinner or lunch. Its annoying how they don't round the price for them though to a whole number.

  • 5/5 Jamie W. 2 years ago on Google
Great little zero waste section offering nuts, seeds and other essentials. They also have an impressive range of health foods, teas, coffee, foodstuffs and even a little bakery with some great looking treats that i will be back to try. They make their own coconut yoghurt, would highly recommend that too!

  • 4/5 dyani g. 1 year ago on Google
I enjoyed their bibimbap. Taste so good. Just maybe if the rice came hot would be more excellent. As the real bibimbap served with hot stone. The kombucha is nice to have in hot weather with extra ice. Staff are very attentive. Their soto ayam is the version that comes with thick soup one. Not the clear yellow broth. Delicious and healthy! Yummy.

My go to for healthy food. Love their green commitment too, though not yet 100%, few plastic packaging still. Today's brekky burrito was yummy.

I ate at the cafe once and had delicious pancakes and have been back multiple times to the little store for mangosteen kombucha, energy bites, and vegan desserts. Everything has been incredible tasting and for an inexpensive price. I also love they encourage you to return glass bottles for recycling purposes. Definitely recommend this place!!

I was genuinely impressed with Bali Buda cafe! The freshness of the ingredients stood out, and the array of homemade and healthy dishes was unparalleled. Opting for the vegetable lasagna felt like a trip to my French grandmother's kitchen – the taste was comforting and reminiscent of family-style cooking. I’ve rarely seen such healthy dishes where the salad bowl is served with a few dressings to choose from on the side and you can add the dressing that you like yourself! The Bali Buda Bowl was full of flavours featuring mint, parsley, basil and seeds. The quiet atmosphere added to the overall experience, and the service was top-notch. A delightful culinary escape with a homey touch! We had the chicken pesto wrap, vegetable lasagna and Bali Buda bowl.
