What a quaint, authentic and interesting warung. A lovely Balinese feel to it. Exceptional, warm friendly service. Food great. Does not look WOW from the front, but you are greeted with a warm, friendly smile as you enter and you feel quite at home. Comfy and cosy.

Lovely restaurant and they do traditional Balinese and Indonesian food. The place can be busy from time to time. The staff was friendly but got our order wrong but that’s all good. The atmosphere was great and relaxing, I was able to enjoy dinner with my friend and enjoy good conversation without yelling each other due to noise. I highly recommend their nasi campur combo with the rice wine. Refreshing and yummy.

Many of dishes are small dishes (a bit like tapas) which allows for sampling of more dishes. The food was served fast after ordering. They are quite good but as we had more delicious food in the days before, they lost out on the taste. We were there for dinner and as it was in the main tourist area, crowded, so be prepared to share table. We are fine with sharing tables, just want to inform so that others can come prepared.

This place feels like a real authentic family restaurant. The food was amazing. Especially coconut pancakes. The place was busy both times we were there which only confirms my experience of this place. The food is excellent with such good prices. We also tried homemade rice wine - it wasn't to my taste but I am glad I tried it. The staff is polite and always happy to recommend the food if you do not know what to try.

Good place for Balinese food. Just ‘good’ though. Not bad at all, but not amazing. It’s in a touristy part of Ubud so to be expected. Service wasn’t great but definitely worth a stop if you want cheap, local Balinese fare.

This is by far the best place in the Ubud area to try proper Balinese food. It’s delicious and very affordable, we spent around 100k between both of us. We will definitely come back 👌🏼❤️

Yes and of course, we wouldn’t find this place without doing some online research! I want to say thank you to everyone who is sharing information about places! Me and my girl went there around 2 pm, surprisingly we found a table, got menu and we ordered a lot of things that we didn’t know, we wanted to try. Had a juice and an ice tea(classic bali tea- its good). Had veggie soup, chicken soup(both curry taste but yummmi). Second course? I honestly don’t remember the names but everything was great!! We got something with peanuts, mouth watering!! We tried the small dishes to taste the food, you get a better deal(price wise) if you order the dish not everything individual. What I absolutely love is that they serve the food on bamboo plates and in banana tree leaves. Cleanliness? I wouldn’t say is what I prefer, didn’t give me that trust that its clean. Service? Was ok, could be faster. Price? Very decent! I mean compared to other places where ive been in Bali, this is one is cheapppp!! There is a board where is written what people recommend, so you cant go wrong with the food. Really pleasant experience! Amazing food!!

A nice little cozy place in Ubud serving local foods. Very affordable, great atmosphere, and the foods are simple but superb. We had a Nasi Campur and Nasi Goreng Ayam Sambal Matah for lunch and they're great. They also serve Balinese style tapas which we didn't try unfortunately. Certainly one of the most popular restaurants along Goutama Street as it is always packed and busy. Recommended to try in Ubud!

Watch out! The prices do not appear correctly in the menu. They have to add a 10% tax (The first time it happened in Indonesia was here, until now I had always been given the final price with tax included). The place is small, it fills fast, go with time. and when you finish eating, they ask you to retire so that other people can not stay chatting. The taste is good.

This place deserves all the credit. They keep the prices low and the place is vey authentic. You can try a bit of all kinds of local delicacies with small to medium portions, which are more than enough by the way. I'm just glad that we didn't accidentally skip it.

Amazing! Even tho had to wait like 15’ to get a table and ended sharing table with other ppl, the food was great, the prices even better! Tried all the small plates available, tapas style Indonesian food is a great way to describe it. Coconut pancakes were delicious. Kinda pushed by the staff to pay cash.

Great place to eat, food a little dumbed down as majority of customer are westerners. Don't miss the Mie Gireng with dried shrimp, standout dish. Great value and lovely staff, working very hard in a super busy, tightly packed place. It's easily spotted on the street as it always has a queue. Speaks for itself,

Wait time from order to food on the table is about 30 minutes. Mains came one slowly one by one. I would say this place is disappointing if you’re after authentic Indonesian food. The flavours were so bland and accustomed to Westerners. As a Chinese who loves my spices and flavours, this is a no go for me. Perhaps I went to the wrong place. Their service is friendly and atmosphere is great. So I can’t say it’s going to be an awful experience for everyone.

At Warung Biah Biah bar, while they might not have a specific vegan menu, their very affordable drink prices are an absolute steal. The environment is still vibrant and inviting, creating a lively atmosphere perfect for enjoying those budget-friendly drinks. The place itself radiates a relaxed charm, welcoming guests to unwind and soak in the energetic vibe of Ubud without spending a lot. It's a fantastic spot to grab reasonably priced drinks, enjoy the ambiance, and embrace the lively atmosphere without straining your wallet.

Located in a secondary street, this restaurant is as not expansive as the one located in primary roads, but it is actually better food. Yummier and cheaper and, why not, better vibe. We loved it and came back twice. And the beer is sooo good and cheap, we both got tipsy XD Highly recommended

We took multiple little plates of what they are proposing on their menu. All of them were really good. Chicken was a bit dry, but overall was super fine. The place is located on the street so it is cozy with that view of the people outside. I recommend strongly !

I like the idea of Balinese tapas to try a lot of different dishes. Unfortunately, it wasn't that great. The chicken was too dry and hard and several of the dishes were quite bland. Pork with shredded coconut was delicious though.

Very good local Indonesian food for really good prices. The service was quick and the food was quite flavorful. Although most prices are inexpensive for me, the prices here are more along the lines at what I can find at street markets in Malaysia and other parts of SE Asia. I enjoyed the Nasi Campur and some Sate along with some other small dishes. One of them was extra spicy (pedas) and still had some amazing flavor. Looking forward to trying again

(Translated by Google) You can enjoy Balinese home-cooked dishes arranged to suit the tastes of foreigners. There are many Indonesian restaurants in Ubud, but when it comes to Balinese cuisine, there are only local warungs, so this beer beer is a valuable restaurant. The price is cheap and the food is delicious, so I recommend it. However, the spiciness is reserved, so it may not be enough for those who like spicy food. (Translated by Google) Fine dry restaurant. The price is around 25,000 to 30,000 rupees. Normal dishes, for me a bit dry in comparison when the typical dish is poor in local stalls (and at half the price you find in restaurants) + The price is one of the lowest in the entire Ubud area, when it comes to restaurants. - I find it abusive € 2 to be rice with two slices of chicken. A country where there are rice terraces everywhere. (Original) Restaurante bien a secas. El precio ronda los 25.000 a 30.000 rupias. Despite their unassumingly-looking shopfront, both the interior ambience and food are surprisingly good! Like the jazz music they play too. Full house even during non-meal hours. Prices seem cheap at first glance, but the portions are ultrasmall! We ordered 6 vegetarian tapas for ~8.000 each. It was barely enough for 1 person. If you go for meat it will get expensive quickly. Unfortunately the dishes don't even taste very well. Long lists of ingredience turn out to be just 1-2 vegetables which taste very similar and dull. The atmosphere is nice tough and wifi for writing reviews is fast ;).

Biah Biah is a nice cosy restaurant serving traditional Balinese dishes in small amounts so you can try all the dishes, almost a tapas style but Balinese. The food is delicious and the staff are friendly. Biah Biah gets very busy from 6pm onwards so I recomend planning an early dinner unless your happy to wait 20 minutes or so for a table. The dishes are simple but delicious, slightly westernised on the flavour which means the chilli wont kill you but still very good. Our favourite dish is the Lawar Babi which is pork in coconut. The dishes start from 80c to 3.00 AUD. Very happy with Biah Biah.

(Translated by Google) A VERY busy place, whenever I go you have to wait outside for approximately 30 minutes. We had to share a small table with another couple, which was quite uncomfortable. The food is great, traditional Indonesian and at a very good price. The rice pudding my favorite dessert without a doubt.

(Translated by Google) It is a famous local restaurant. When I arrived in Ubud, I had finished eating lunch or going to other shops, and I had no chance to go, but I got Nasi Chample for the first infiltration. I visited almost at lunchtime, but it was almost full and there were only counters available. It was a feeling that the taste was neither good nor bad.

Nothing special, dry dishes and low in taste. Not bad but not a must go

We had a great dinner at this warung. You might have to wait for a table and you have to wait for the food a little longer than somewhere else but it is a nice place with good food for very nice prices.

Came here twice while staying in Ubud for a week, food is nice and very cheap. They have lots of different local dishes. Some of them are on “tapas” version and offer you the opportunity to try more options. They also serve local beers and rice wine. Payment can only be in cash.

There were so many people in line, and for good reason. We had Nasi Campur + tempeh which was damn good/bomb. We also bought "Nasi Goreng" shirts at 100K IDR a pop cause my personality is defined by fried rice. (The gf had to play along hehe)

Great food and ate here several times. The small plates are exceptional value. Only downside is they must all be cooked beforehand as the food is only lukewarm. The bregedel are piping hot though and so delicious. Dada gulung also made fresh. Staff are quite formulaic, as is the whole place but they are onto a winning recipe with the whole place as the queues of people show. Two of us ate for 100k (no beer just juice). Very cheap and tasty.

Great warung in the walking street of goutama, well adjusted for tourists with different languages for the menu. I love the little satay portions that you can order, and food quality is good. Card payment is accepted with a 3% fee.

Had a really nice meal here last night. The staff was friendly and service was prompt. The food was really good. We tried some of the smaller Balinese vegetarian dishes as well as the fried noodles with chicken and fried rice with chicken. All were flavorful and fresh.

Busy restaurant, service staff are pretty efficient and sincere, but they are very busy! The food came out great, Nasi Campur was excellent, and nasi goreng was nicely cooked but a little bland. So we ordered a small bowl of Sambal and that was magical. Super good value, would recommend if you are staying for a long period in Ubud.

Overall Experience - cheap and affordable place to try balinese food. Would prefer them to strain the coffee. 1. Mixed rice and fried rice - average. 2. Fried tempeh - highly recommended. Crispy. 3. Service - friendly staff 4. Serving time - 20 mins 5. Affordability - affordable 6. Atmosphere - clean

So so so good! The menu is very good, the stuff is very friendly, the prices are not touristic and over the top simple and important ingredients of the Balinese cuisine are easily explained. Can’t recommend it enough!! 🙌🏽

Simply amazing food! Cute little place and the best warung experience. Negatives: No crowd/table management. You need to wait for a table. Note: even If your a spicy lover, don’t say extra spicy. Coz chilies in Bali is sooper spicy.

Great place for eating local food. Amazing atmosphere as you can sit next to total strangers at the same table and start the conversation. The food was so delicious that I managed to take only one photo. Local deserts are to die for. The best thing is that this place is very affordable. LOVE IT!

Patronized the place twice during our stay. It’s as local and authentic as it gets. Food is fresh and balance in flavours. Quality and cost effective co-exist here.

I had lunch here yesterday and like the food so I came back for dinner tonight. I was disappointed this time. The Nasi Goreng was nice. I ordered a LARGE bottle of Bintang beer but they served me a small bottle instead. I told them of the mistake and they bring back the beer but never served me the beer until I asked them about it when my food arrived. The Goreng Pisang was cold and hard. The pisang was a bit stale. When I feedback to them, they just said OK!
