Almost didn't come here because of the relatively low rating (?) but I'm so glad I came anyway because it was actually really good! I lived in Japan for a couple of months and I think this is the most authentic Japanese restaurant I've tried in Indonesia. I ordered Tempura Soba and it was a perfect 5/5 for me, everything about it was sooo good and with the affordable price I didn't expect them to give so much tempura. Soba is much less popular than ramen and udon in Indonesia, pretty much nonexistent in my city (Bandung) so I'm really happy to taste it again, to me it tasted exactly like the ones I had in Japan. As for the other menus we ordered: - Tuna Gyoza: the gyoza wrap was tasty and perfectly cooked but I feel like the tuna filling doesn't suit it very well, think I'd much more enjoy the chicken gyoza instead - Beef Teppan (Garlic Soy Steak): there is quite a lot of fat, I only tried a piece of the meat and it was nice and tender (not the "meltique" kind of tender though). The garlic soy sauce was good. - Natto: I hate natto so I can't give a neutral opinion but according to my husband it's fine. I've never seen another restaurant here that sells natto so I was surprised to find this. - Unagi sushi: not a huge fan of unagi in general but I loooved the sushi rice, nice and sweet - The tofu dessert (forgot the name): kind of meh for me Overall I think it's a great choice if you're looking for authentic Japanese cuisine, if I lived here I would definitely come and eat at Ryoshi again.

I highly recommend this place. Despite their low rating and I don't know why. I love everything that I ordered here. Well, maybe I should chose pork filling for gyoza not with prawn filling. But, everything else are very yummy. The chicken yakitori is well seasoned and juicy. The grilled fish is buttery. My Tuna Don is full of Tuna sashimi chunks and they are all so fresh and thick. This place have the best sashimi. Definitely, I will comeback.

Good standard Japanese food restaurant, delicious katsudon and miso soup! Have both indoor aircond and outdoor fresh air seat Variety choices of food and beverage, but the ramen has to improve still (suggest not to order to avoid disappointment).

I have visited this restaurant twice. On my first visit on October 14, 2022 (lunch time), my impression was quite good even though the service was long and I didn't really mind it. On my second visit on October 15, 2022 (lunch time), I was very disappointed in terms of service, namely : - First, the length of service from ordering until the food is finished and served at the table. - Second, an error occurred in the menu I ordered. So you have to wait a long time for a menu change. Hope Riyoshi'smanagement can pay attention to this service.

I have been coming here for years. It is straightforward and nice but what I like about it is the consistency. The food is good, staff is friendly and just always nice to return to as I know what I will get.

Located in the prime area of Ubud this place is really awesome..has a lot of options with different cuisines . I would like to visit this place next time whenever I travel to Ubud. Must visit restaurants in Ubud. Very neat and clean and friendly staff...

I been there the first time for lunch. The atmosphere is not to special, they should renovate. The restrooms pretty broken and run over. The sushi is nice, as well the bento box. The noodle soups are not too nice for me. Overall it’s okay to try but I’ll not gonna miss it.

We came for dinner and were surprised by the price of the food, which is very cheap for the apparent quality. However, I chose tuna bowl and got food poisoning on the next day. When you see how the toilets are dirty, I don’t want to imagine how is the kitchen. I would definitely not recommend even if the prices are attractive…

I really like this place! Food is great, good price and love how the restaurant is decorated. Think this place deserves a higher rating! Ad their lunchtime bento box deal for 50k is awesome!

100% recommended if you want a nice calm restaurant to eat fresh sushi. Actually got to taste one of the most delicious gyoza✨

THE KATSU DON AND CHASIU RAMEN ARE BOMBS!! Authentic with wide range of menu, think these two are the stars. Side of gyoza also nice. Instead of the sushi, go for these two.

We had pork ramen, katsu don, gyoza and some beef sate. It was the best ramen I ever had and all the food was just amazing! Would definitely recommend after visiting the monkey forrest :)

Truely a great place to eat and drink. The menu offers pretty much everything you can think of regarding japanese cuisine and the four items we order delivery on it. 10/10 would visit again

The food looks visually appealing. I just got a couple of croissants from the cafe next door, so maybe I was too full, but I didn't find Ryoshi as good as the reviews. Nothing bad, though. The taste just not as punchy as I expected from a Japanese restaurant. The seaweed salad dressing a little bland, the yakiniku don can be more tasty. But overall, I'm not complaining.

It’s a delicious dinner for me in Indonesia. I didn’t expect such less customers dining here. It’s good in another way under this pandemic. It’s a good place for those are looking for a Japanese restaurant in Ubud.

This place was so gorgeous! It was an authentic japanese restaurant, with a mixed of slight balinese ambience and japanese architecture. The food was unexpectedly delicious and truly japanese. The price was surprisingly lower than what I expected a true authentic japanese food would taste here. We tried the Pisang Sushi set, Ryoshi Set with tempura and chicken teriyaki, agedashi tofu, and several donburi bowls. They were all delicious! The rice.. I’m speechless.. it was wow!! The service was excellent! All we ordered came out of the kitchen so fast. I have no other comments about this place and the food. I’m still speechless. I have to come back here to try more
