Bali Bohemia is the most beautiful place I ever stayed in ! It's right next to the monkey forest so there are monkeys all around the place. The whole place is very colorful and the rooms are spacious and very clean. The vibe is great and very relaxing. However, they didn't have any motorbike available during the 4 days we spent there. Their taxis to the airport are also quite expensive, I recommend you to walk down the street and get a taxi over there. They also have a restaurant. The whole dinner menu is absolutely delicious. I had the kebab sandwich and the chicken and they were both excellent.

I'm a regular customer of their restaurant. Their open mic Thursdays are something you shouldn't miss! You would enjoy the great music and vibe. Other than that, it's a quiet and peaceful place to have a friendly dinner. I've ordered online, too. I like the menu which has many middle eastern options.

Located behind the famous monkey forest. That close until sometimes the monkeys come visit this place as well. Don't worry, the staff is always aware of the monkeys and armed with the sticks to hushing them. Food is always delicious. Big portion too. They have open mic every thursday if im not mistaken

Beautiful accommodation, well maintained and clean. Great ambience and decor. Clean washrooms and a nice shower. The monkeys do wander in at certain times of the day, but they tend to leave you alone.

We came here for the open mic night, held on Thursdays. Epic evening with talented performers from different walks of life, foreign and local and a great host, Ben, who makes the event comfortable for all. It's a family friendly restaurant with plenty of seating over two levels. Service is good, but can get better. The menu selections are vegan friendly however have some meat options too. Most of it is not Indonesian cuisine, instead it's Arabic fusion. The appetizer portions are small but very tasty. We were enjoying drinks and munching so didn't taste the mains but our kids ate off the kids menu where the portions were adequate. The open mic night is really recommended if you like some live music and want to meet friendly people. <insta: UtilityChef>

Fabulous stay in the lotus suite. The private pool was so nice. The monkeys visited often. Ate breakfast at the restaurant twice, and it was delicious. Love the flat whites and juices. Stay and eat, you won't be disappointed. Use the Monkey forest shortcut trail (3 min walk) to get to the Central Ubud Market area

Nice food. Lots of mosquitos, would be great to put some citronella or incense around. New Year’s Eve and the staff were very uninterested and leaning on the counter, chatting and on their phones. We would’ve ordered more but was too much effort to get their attention. Would’ve been nice if some music or something was on for new years.

The open mic night is great! Talented singers, musicians, and poets coming forth from the audience, it’s super chill and cozy. The food is pretty good I just wish the portion sizes were bigger, and the menu a bit limited. But you’ll love the atmosphere at night and a quality meal. Oh and the banana fritter dessert was a delight

Beautifully decorated restaurant. Middle eastern inspired food was well priced and delicious. A bit of construction going on close by.

The location of the hotel is quite convenient, a short walk to the town where you walk past the monkey sanctuary it is quite nice and there is no need to go into the park. If you are wanting to go to the main market it can be a 30 mins walk. The room was clean and the staff were great. We stayed in October 2023 the hotel was having some renovation done to it and it was a bit noisy but it was fine. We didn't go swimming as the pool needed to be cleaned and the hotel did warn about some monkeys coming onto hotel property and can be a nuisance. We hired a driver from the hotel to go to Lempuyang Temple and waited over 2 hours to have our picture taken by the photographer, whilst using your phone. They just put a small mirror under the camera to get the effect. So be warned. The trip started at 4 am for the 2 hours drive and the trip back to the hotel was longer as the traffic was bad.

Beautifully decorated quirky colourful little hotel with loads of character and attention to detail. We loved our 2 bedroom villa with private pool. Located close to the Monkey Forest and in close proximity to many coffee shops and restaurants. Highly recommended

This is one of the most legendary restaurant, live stage and hotel in Ubud. The style is, of course, bohemian! The food is excellent breakfast lunch and dinner, with roots from all over the world, except Balinese. Thursdays the stage is open for anyone to perform together and the level of professionalism is often astonishing. Occasionally breathtaking.

Me and my wife have visited this place a few times for lunch and dinner. This place have one of highest standards when it comes to the food and experience quality for their customers. We have tried almost every dish on the menu and they are all made of fresh ingredients and quality of the food has been consistently good every time we visited or order takeout from here. The restaurant has a very relaxed yet energetic vibe and they have live music at some nights which makes it vibe even more pleasant. The owner and staff here are certainly running a very nice and high quality business that delivers pleasant experience for the guests. We now consider ourself a regular customer here and will be back for more delicious food and live musics. Btw on your visit you may have unexpected visitors : D

Great vibes and location, tasty food, very fine prices. And most of all- location! You can chill there for hours watching monkeys from the nearby Monkey Forest. Oh, good breakfast deals and one of the tastiest coffee I've had in Bali for half a year.

One of the first places in my life where the staff let me stay in after the closing time!! I arrived an hour before the closing time, they told me was possible to order for 30 more minutes!! I ordered and got the food straight after (waited 15 minutes total). While I was eating they came and told me they were closing and I asked if I needed to go asking for take away but they told me to stay there finishing to eat and taking my time!! By the way speaking about the food I can say is absolutely great and the prices are not expensive, the atmosphere in the restaurant is nice and the kindness and hospitality of the staff and owner!! Really recommended!!

Ordered the quarter chicken special and it was seasoned and cooked perfectly. The margaritas were not good, but the "crazy purple" smoothie was excellent. I went again at night and the DJ played some good music. Cool spot.

We went there for cocktails and they tasted great! The atmosphere was really nice, you would be likely to see monkeys because it's so close to the monkey forest. My only issue was that they only smoking, I'm not a fan of being around so many smokers but obviously others enjoyed being able to.

Lovely building with nice atmosphere, but rooms are too dark. When I checked in, no one was at the front desk and after waiting for a while the restaurant staff came and were "friendly". Overall, I got the impression that there was not enough staff. Entrance was bit small and drivers of large vehicles did not like to. The location is right in front of the Monkey Forest, so monkeys come too. The loophole to the main street was very thrilling and fun at night!

A true space for artists. The owners are artists through and thru and support the local collaborations between local Balinese and expats. The food is great and simple and I could eat it all day. The accommodations are charming, eclectic, and fun. The environment quiet and a feeling of the sacred surrounds the area. Plus there are monkeys.

The hippiest place I had ever stayed. It status true to the Boho design and colors. It is like staying in another dimension where you rewind time. They have a small restaurant that’s good for simple meals and nice to hangout at. Mornings are crowded and loud as the monkeys from Monkey Forest make the roof tops their play ground. I had hard time making my escape for breakfast as the monkeys are hanging out by the exit and drinking from the villa private pool. The villa is comfortable, clean, funky, and affordable. Pluses and minuses - it is a good bargain for the novelty they offer. So I’d recommend this place.

What a gem of a place! The food is of really good quality, the coffee and drinks too and the place is an oasis. You can really relax there and enjoy the beauty and details. Service is good as well. Excellent choise when you're in Ubud.

This place is there as long as I can remember. Even during CoVid they were open and luckily they survived. This is the place for music and dance events. During the day it’s a restaurant and at night there is always something to do. The quality of the food is worth 5 stars. It’s a mix of French and Middle Eastern food. The fresh home made baguette and the lamb kebab are delicious. It’s located in Nyuh Kuning Ubud next to Monkey Forest. It has beautiful boho hotel rooms as well.

I want to give you 5 stars but unfortunately had a bad experience at your bakery. The actual bread is delicious but your staff cut the bread in massive pieces which were unuseable in the toaster and they all just shoved all the bread pieces in a bag without any care so when I got home the bread was all squashed and in pieces. It’s such a shame as the bread and other bakery things we bought were actually delicious, it’s the staff that need to be trained to deal with it properly. Good luck.

Loved this place. The cottages are unique. The wash rooms are unique with pebbles for floor and glass for roof. They have a small swimming pool. It’s just next to Monkey forest gate 2.

Great place, excellent food and drinks. But the roof leaked a bit as it was raining a LOT when we arrived. Also a fine 'powder' seems to fall from the ceiling in places in the rooms, which is probably because of the natural handmade roofs, something to be aware of.

Beautifully decorated restaurant, friendly service. We love their falafel wraps but the decor is absolutely gorgeous. Located near the monkey forest, tucked away at the end of a street, off the main road in Nuyh Kuning, Ubud, Bali. Hygiene at the bar and service station could be improved. The waitress shaking a doormat then handling food without washing hands (in covid time on top of it all) is unacceptable.

We did not stay here in lodging but frequent the restaurant and we love the atmosphere and the food is great!! We come to hang, play cards, and watch the monkeys. Highly recommend for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Cute little spot in a great location! It’s a couple minute walk from the Monkey Sanctuary. Our room was great, comfy bed with powerful AC. The restaurant had tons of options and lots of restaurants within walking distance. Would definitely stay here again.

I ordered delivery couple times for lunch & went there on thurs night for open mic. Love their chicken shawarma, skewers & platter, even the pita bread is good eaten plain. Thurs open mic is a must go, had so much fun singing & dancing along with the band and crowd. Good vibes. Drinks is cheap, variety of cocktails.

The coolest resto bar cafe .. part of the Bali Bohemia lodging. There’s an open Mike night which is tons of fun and totally interactive. The food is great, the ambiance casual, welcoming and warm. Highly recommended. Some of the dancers weren’t old enough to get their driver’s licence !!

special atmosphere Great location opposite monkey forest. Also there are many restaurants and bars near the hotel also shops nearby. Very interesting design of the rooms and a special atmosphere is felt. Convenient that you can rent a good scooter at the reception. Thanks to everyone who works and cares about the guests!

Pancakes are most incredible treat, unbelievably delicious! During our stay they were constantly out of various items, limiting the menu, in my opinion. But if a light meal, or a delicious breakfast is of interest to you, this is a great Cafe. Also make note of the very well made lava cake, and extremely delicious coffee.

We booked a room for one night - the location is nice due to the shortcut to the city through the monkey forest, but its also the reason the street is noisy. The interior is kitschy and has comparatively low resemblance to Balinese style. You can find much better and authentic places for lower price.

We stopped here for a snack, but the atmosphere was so beautiful, creative and inviting, that we decided to order lunch. Oriental food, super tasty and authentic! Really good prices and perfect location after a walk in the monkey forest.

The funnest place ever. The wonderful couple that built it from the ground up really put their own zen into every corner of the property. The restaurant / bar is just as striking as the rest of the property. Its right next to the Monkey forests. I loved watching them play all day very close up. If you are afraid of monkeys, this is not the right place for you. Their open mic nights are very well known locally and a great time get there early it's very popular. People from all over the would playing music together it was so special I will never forget it. I would say it's kid friendly, but it's just everyone friendly. Bring a camera, and you will take tons of pictures. The staff is amazing I wanted a scooter, and one was delivered right away. We needed airpor transfer and a man was waiting at the airport for us. We need transportation to the ferry they took care of it. I wouldn't stay anywhere else and will remember it forever.

Love their open mic nights — so many great talents. Vibe and food is amazing too. Super friendly atmosphere. And oh, I prefer to sit upstairs! More laidback and relaxed to sit on cushions rather than downstairs where they have normal tables.

Super chilled accomodation just a stones throw from Sacred Monkey Forest. The Bali Bohemia restaurant offered some delicious East Mediterranean food and a fun and relaxing place to sit and watch the monkeys on the outskirts of the forest. Set back from the main road, this is truly a tranquil base from which to explore. Would recommend!

👍 Ordinary food in a spectacular location, in the middle of rice paddy. The crispy duck is really crispy, a bit too dry. The sate lilit is delicious. The gurami goreng bit bland / tasteless.
