A trip in an other world! For all people that think a smart phone is the world : go and have a look how we older folks mastered live. A small electricity blackout could not stop us! Amazing paintings and a real vision that turned into reality!

Definitely worth a visit. Blanco's slight obsession with Balinese women breasts is on full display within a large, colonial style mansion turned gallery. Don't forget to visit the rooftop with some Ubud views guarded by statues. The grounds also contain a garden with a number of friendly parrots that sit on your head, hands and shoulders if you wish so, workshop and temple dedicated to the artist's beloved wife. The entrance is 100k per person.

(Translated by Google) Foreign adult tickets are 100,000Rp. Love this place so much, it feels like a secret garden. In addition to all the local characteristics of Bali, Blanco has his own ideas. After entering the park, the music of the opera sounded, and some parrots, the staff can put your hands on you and take photos with them. It is not possible to take photos in the museum, but it is really great. His expression style is very different from other Ubud museums. It is very gorgeous and decorative. The drawing itself is a work, but it is a super gorgeous frame. Device feel. Entering is like entering a small palace with many classic sofas. There are stairs outside the balcony on the second floor to go to the top floor. In addition, there is his studio area, which is also great. You can see many traces left by the artist. It seems that he likes Dali very much.

Yesterday I wrote regarding Neka Museum that usually I don't like museums. But this Blanco is really worth to visit, birds are splendid. 100k entrance fee. No photo inside the museum itself.

Visiting this museum is like peeking inside Antonio Blanco's mind. The complex used to be his house, his studio, and his own museum. A lot of his works are focusing on women divinity and femininity, which can be seen throughout the museum. The museum has a really nice courtyard with lots of greenery and aviary animals roaming free. Recommended to visit if you're in Ubud!

Blanco obviously loved women from looking at his art. No books or cards are available with reproductions of his art sadly. The building is unique. It’s circular inside with three levels. In the middle when you look up to the ceiling is a wonderful mosaic. The staircase is like something from Hollywood movies. The gardens are beautiful with a number of parrots or similar who will sit on your arm for a photo. These are exotic birds. The statues in the garden and on the building are balinese designs I imagine. Really pretty. There is a cafe here but I didn’t try it.

Beautiful little museum. You get greetings by gorgeous parrots, in which are very friendly and the staff are happy to take photos for you. Take your time when exploring the outside gardens, gallery (no photos allowed) and balconies. They have a terrace with nice views of Ubud. Once you enter the museum (last part after the gallery), you can't go back. The museum staff is very knowledgeable about the history of Blanco, happy to take photos for you. Allow 3 hours to enjoy the place.

Because in Ubud, so the weather is quite cold. It contains paintings by Mr. Blanco. There is a cafe too, if I'm not mistaken in this area of the Museum. Life, artistry journey, and legacy of Antonio Blanco in one place. Very interesting place for fine art lover. Not only see and appreciate his artwork, but you can also see his daily & family life in this museum. Unfortunately there were some water leakage & dark area on exhibition room, but currently they are trying to fix this issue. You can also see his painting studio room, antique camera collection, his son (Mario Blanco)'s painting, and some exotic birds on enterance! Note : there are some artworks that falls into erotic painting, maybe inappropriate for kids and conservative religion people.

Easy to get to … centrally located. We paid 100,000 IDR per person for entrance fee. It was just the house (which is a nice house) and some of his paintings. No ground’s really to explore… Wasn’t worth the fee amount being charged. Was pretty disappointed and I’m not sure my husband will let me live this one down.

This place was given to Antonio by the emperor at the time. He married the dancer and had 4 children. Because the area is not large, there are only two floors on the ground floor and the second floor. (Translated by Google) The history of the founding of the Gedong Arca Archaeological Museum is inseparable from the history of the establishment of the Bali Cultural Preservation Hall, the working area of the Provinces of Bali, West Nusa Tenggara and East Nusa Tenggara because the Gedong Arca Archaeological Museum is one of the working groups of the Bali Cultural Heritage Preservation Hall. After a period of independence the Archaeological Office began to open offices in regions, including Yogyakarta, Prambanan, and Makassar. In 1951, the Antiquities Office was merged into the Antiquities Office under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture and Culture Department and along with it in Bali the Antiquity Department of the Makassar Branch Building Section located in the village of Bedulu, Blahbatuh, Gianyar, Bali under the leadership of J.C Krijgman. The choice of location in the village of Bedulu is due to the dense findings of ancient relics found in the area of Bali. The Archaeological Service Section of the Makassar branch building became the forerunner of the Bali Province Historical and Archaeological Asylum, which later led to the Republic of Indonesia Minister of Education and Culture SK. Number 0767/0/1989, on December 7, 1989, it was changed to the Asylum and Archeology of the Province of Bali-NTB-NTT-East Timor (SPSP Bali-NTB-NTT-East Timor). Since January 2003 it has been changed into the Gianyar Archaeological Heritage Preservation Hall (BP3 Gianyar), the working area of the provinces of Bali, West Nusa Tenggara and East Nusa Tenggara. Because there are so many ancient artifacts found by BP3 Bali, the idea of establishing a museum emerged. The museum was founded with the aim of saving, exhibiting or displaying objects of cultural preservation from the field of conservation activities carried out by BP3 Bali. Besides this museum serves to provide preliminary information about the Cultural Heritage Objects in Bali. The construction of the museum has been pioneered since 195-1959 which was initiated by DR. R.P Soejono, who at that time served as Head of the Archaeological and National Heritage II Branch Office in Gianyar. As a start to the realization of the establishment of this museum, at first erected several buildings with palm roofs located on the inner page. This building is used to store objects saved in the field such as some sarcophagi. During Dr. MM Soekarto K. Atmojo, the construction of the museum was continued with physical development such as the construction of the entire perimeter wall, the entrance in the form of a brief temple, a doorway with a shingle roof located in the outer / southern courtyard, a peg board and four buildings (gedongO in the middle yard which were then used to use as a permanent exhibition site, during his leadership period the museum was officially opened by the Director General of Culture of the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia on September 14 under the name Gedong Arca Museum. Sejak Januari 2003 berubah menjadi Balai Pelestarian Peninggalan Purbakala Gianyar (BP3 Gianyar) wilayah kerja Provinsi Bali, Nusa Tenggara Barat, dan Nusa Tenggara Timur.

Really fantastic home - museum. This house is poem for the true love. Painter and his muse - Balinese Dancer. You have a big choice - one day to find your love. When you’ll find the love - the death will look to you close and close. But the death is not the end, the next stage the dust, but final answer is hidden in masters paintings.

In the Blanco Renaissance museum, the majority of Blanco's works depicting the beauty and beauty of women can be found. What is unique, the Blanco Renaissance Museum building really depicts the life of Antonio Blanco as a writer of Spanish blood who lives in Bali. From the outside, this museum has an architectural style similar to a typical Balinese temple and is decorated with various traditional knick-knacks. Entering the interior, visitors will be greeted by a European-style mansion complete with large pillars and a self-portrait of Antonio Blanco.

A 2 acre museum dominated with red n turquoise colours. Some parts were Blanco residence, some were built before his passing. The upper main gate shape of the museum was taken from the of his flipping signature. Most of his paintings are in nudes, so not really suitable to bring kids here, some are really bold n covered inside wooden doors. His original studio can be seen too, you can even take pictures there. Overall, an unique experience. A plus point; a guide will accompany you along the way, they can take your pictures too.

Unique art museum celebrating the extravagant artist - Antonio Blanco. Birds and little garden add to the visit. You can also visit little studio of the artist. But there isn't much to explore in my personal opinion. For kitas holders and locals price is 55k. Which is fair.

Spanish artist Antonio Blanco has been called the Dali of Bali. He settled in Bali lured by the bare breasts of the nubile native women. He certainly did justice to them on canvas. The Museum is an eccentric, eclectic place of fascination. Piped 1920s music plays and you are greeted by parrots, cockatoo and goldfish. There is an ice-cream parlour and a gorgeous rooftop restaurant nearby. If you are Arty and enjoy the quirky, you simply must visit!

There are some wierd, interesting works, like the one I am showing. Some of the frames of his works are amazing. But, I think the fee is overpriced for the kind of experience they are offering. Also, It doesn't show, or explain the relevance of his work in the context of Bali, or Indonesia culture.

A nice clean area to walk around and see paintings of a woman. Some paintings are nude paints so may not be appropriate for kids depending on Indonesian culture but overall nice painting though I may not be an art master, I still able to say that. The atmosphere is great, and it has place to take pictures with birds too

Interesting museum consisting of a downstairs room, and upstairs room, two balconies and around 3 other smaller rooms containing various paintings of Blanco's. Only a small amount of them have artists notes. The building alone is worth the 100k entry fee. No photos allowed inside the building and you will be escorted around to view the paintings. Upon exiting you have an opportunity to take photos with some beautiful birds, they are all very friendly and seem to be well loved, I witnessed several staff members sweet talking and kissing them and the birds we responsive to our sweet talking too. They are not caged nor tied down.

It was ok. Interesting but not amazing and a bit pricey for that. Frame work was more interesting than the art itself. It's claiming to be Dali of Bali but I have seen Dali museum and it doesn't even come close.

(Translated by Google) When I entered, there were a lot of parrots and I was a little scared. The entrance fee is about 800 yen, and you can enjoy plenty of art that you can't taste in your own country! There was a welcome drink, but it was a purple-looking drink with a punishment game feel. The Blanco Renaissance paintings ranged from avant-garde to accurate techniques and were interesting. The sense of color is mysterious and stirs the imagination of the viewer. It's also interesting to see the atelier! Oh, I hit the display of a strange general store on the way and broke it, and I paid 800 yen, so be careful on the way. The museum is great to visit. It was so interesting to hear about such an extraordinary person as Antonio Blanco, his family, his works and his life before Bali and in Bali. It's prohibited to take photos of paintings in the gallery, but all of them are outstanding and inspiring. And special thanks go to the guide, she told me so many things about the painter himself and the Balinese traditions.

Unique place. Must visit when you are in Bali. Lots of painting by Mr. Blanco with artistic frame. Each frame is dedicated for it painting and built in harmony. We are lucky got story telling by beautiful staff who told the meaning of each painting and who was the model. Big building, three storey which represent heaven, earth and spirit world. Spend more than one hour to see each room, including the studio where Mr. Blanco sit to paint during his life.

Nice glimpse into life of an influential art figure of Ubud, impressive mansion and tranquil garden with cool parrots. Go up the roof to see Ubud from the top. Tho all artworks are quite similar and focuse mostly on semi-naked and vaguely drawn women so that will depend on whether you like this genre and style..

Amazing experience, mindblowing story, and a feast to the eye 😍😍 Warmly greeted by the ticket guy, paid 30K IDR each for locals and walked through their beautiful gate and garden into the museum. A very nice lady, ibu Kadek, approaching us and started telling a fascinating story about the custom and history of Balinese women from a few decades ago, the one that inspired Antonio Blanco with his work of arts. The story was so detailed and presented in a way that makes us feels like stopping by a good friend's house to have a nice coffee with chit chat, love the way she explained everything 🤎 This museum is a 3 storey building, represented a Balinese belief that the world is divided into 3 parts, part where the Gods live, part where all other beings live, and the part where all the supernatural things live. So the 1st storey shows all the beautiful paintings made by Antonio Blanco, 2nd storey holds the same collection, while the 3rd storey is the rooftop where we can chill and enjoy the view a bit, before walk down to the gallery and workspace of Mario Blanco, the son who continues Antonio's work as a painter. The most worth it 30K spent her, recommended for everyone who loves history & art.

**Blanco Renaissance Museum, Ubud, Bali - A Resplendent Jewel of Artistry** Nestled amidst the lush landscapes of Ubud, the Blanco Renaissance Museum stands as a testament to the intricate tapestry of art and culture. The ambiance of this hallowed sanctuary is one that beckons visitors into a realm of splendor and awe. What strikes you first, beyond its meticulous cleanliness, is the sheer magnificence of the artwork housed within. Each painting is a masterpiece, echoing tales of passion, dreams, and unparalleled talent. Yet, what sets them apart, what truly makes each piece singular, is the artistry that goes beyond the canvas - the frames. A testament to the attention to detail, these frames aren't mere borders but integral parts of the narrative each artwork conveys. The staff, with their genuine warmth and hospitality, ensures that your experience is nothing short of magical. Their knowledge, combined with their amiable nature, adds depth to every interaction, making the visit all the more memorable. As if the visual feast wasn’t enough, the museum gracefully introduces you to a culinary one. The plant-based restaurant on the premises is a gastronomic revelation. Each dish we sampled was a harmonious blend of flavors, presenting plant-based cuisine in its finest avatar. In essence, the Blanco Renaissance Museum isn't just a visit; it's an experience. A symphony of art, culture, and gastronomy that resonates deeply with all who walk its halls. A perfect 10-star destination, this museum is a must-visit when in Bali. Indeed, it's not just a showcase of art, but an embodiment of perfection in every facet. Sharad Sharan
