Five stars stay. We initially booked for 2 nights, but extended our stay. I loved everything about this hotel, room is spacious, pool is beautiful, hospitality is warm. My biggest regret was not staying longer lol! We would definitely come back.

Breathtaking location. In the middle of the jungle. Rooms are excellent, beds are probably the best I've ever slept in, staff is second to none, swimming pools are gorgeous, massage parlors right across the street for 1/4 of the in-hotel spa. Wonderful, a bit expensive, but you do get what you're paying for. Please do stay here.

The room was amazing, we had our own infinity pool overlooking the jungle and rice paddies. It also had a huge bathroom, and indoor and outdoor shower. The restaurant food has a great variety to choose from and everything we tried was fantastic. The staff are all extremely helpful and friendly. There is no doubt I will be coming back. I highly recommend.

We chose Komaneka at Bisma as a part of our honeymoon trip route and we think it was the best decision! Literally everyone is making sure your stay is as relax and comfortable as possible. The rooms have everything you need for a comfortable stay and even more, the small details make it all. We would like to thank to all the staff as we were welcomed incredibly warm and received the service of high level standards! The food was delicious and the restaurant serves dishes of high cuisine! While staying we even didn’t want to go outside of the hotel as felt so relaxed and serene, both pool and garden are taken amazing care and looks great. Literally Komaneka at Bisma has one of the best views in Ubud and we highly recommend considering for everyone who is seeking serenity and relax for both mind and soul. Thank you Komaneka, we will be definitely coming back!

Stayed from 30 Oct to 2 Nov 2023. As we were celebrating our wedding anniversary, I wanted to surprise my husband and prior to flying in from Bali, I ordered a cake from a Ubud baker for delivery. Hotel was so accommodating to work out the surprise and cake delivery with me. All went well and hotel even decorated the room and bath tub for us. Overall, staff are friendly and genuine in interaction. Happy with the choice of stay and highly recommended. PS: We managed to use Grab for transport to outside of hotel, contrary to some online articles that private hire was not allowed in Ubud. Walking to main Ubud street is slightly longer.

Loved the gorgeous jungle setting. We had a 2br Villa which was great for our small group of 3. You feel immersed in the jungle yet there are many restaurants and spas on Bisma street as well as an easy downhill walk to Monkey Forest street and Yoga Barn. I preferred this location over the more remote Komaneka Tangayuda location where I stayed in 2016. The staff is amazing and extremely welcoming.

Beautiful place out of the way. You don't even know it's there. The people are extra friendly and do whatever their asked. Rooms are great from the single rooms to the 1 bedroom apartment with pool. Can not say enough great things about it, but you have to see to believe. If you go don't forget the walk around the hotel. Great stay and people.

Stayed here for 3 nights. We had a villa. Absolutely stunning decor. Blown away by the views when we arrived. Warm and friendly staff cater to every need. The villa was beautiful, with a lovely ‘happy honeymoon’ chocolate cake waiting for us. Private pool was beautiful. Breakfast daily impeccable. Beautiful hotel with wonderful staff. We looked beforehand where to stay in this area. This was a excellent choice, it’s also close enough to walk into ubud town! Thanks to all the staff for a fantastic stay. We will be coming back at some point :)

Paradise. A beautiful hotel with the nicest, most attentive and accommodating staff. Can’t recommend this place high enough. The view from the hotel is of the jungle, paddy fields and the infinity swimming pool. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. Great en-suite bathroom with enormous shower, large bath and 2 sinks. Walk in closet. Free water. Kettle for making tea and coffee. Breakfast was ordered from a menu and everything was delicious. The juices were all fresh. We were travelling with our two grown up children and we all loved this place which is perfectly placed for exploring and good restaurants nearby.

During our recent stay at the Komaneka Hotel, we were greeted by a serene and enchanting atmosphere. The open reception area exuded a magical feeling, surrounded by lush greenery and the gentle sounds of the jungle. Our spacious and impeccably clean room provided a comfortable haven throughout our stay. However, the true highlight of our experience was the exceptional staff. From the moment we arrived, they welcomed us with open arms and genuine warmth. It was heartwarming to hear them refer to us as "baba" and "Upa," which added a personal touch and made us feel like part of their extended family. The attentive service extended beyond mere greetings. Our room was impeccably cleaned twice a day, ensuring a fresh and inviting space at all times. The morning breakfast was a delightful treat, not only for the delicious food but also for the staff's genuine care and effort. They took the time to teach us some Balinese phrases and eagerly suggested local dishes for us to try, making our culinary experience even more authentic and memorable. The staff's dedication to providing a truly welcoming and immersive experience was commendable. Their genuine kindness and willingness to go above and beyond made us feel valued and cherished as guests. Every interaction was filled with warmth, making our stay at Komaneka Hotel truly delightful.

This is a five star hotel with beautiful surroundings. I had a nice and large room where the staff cleaned it twice a day. The staff was extremely warm and professional. The food could benefit from a little improvement for a five star hotel. Overall, this hotel was the best experience I had in Bali.

If you are reading this review you are probably undecided about where to stay in Ubud. Please do yourself a favour and stay here, Komaneka at Bisma is spectacular in every sense. Having stayed in many hotels around the world I can honestly say this is the best one I've had the pleasure of staying in. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful, set with amazing views of the jungle from each room. The pool is incredible located amongst the lush greenery. However what sets this hotel apart from all is the service. I have never seen anything like it. They pay do much attention to the smallest details to ensure your stay is perfect. From the personal assistant, to the waiters in the restaurant, to the cleaning staff to the reception staff. Each an every one of them are a credit to the hotel and I only hope their managers appreciate them as much as us guests too. Thank you all at Komaneka at Bisma. We were truly sad to leave but will definitely be back. As I said at the start, don't waste more time looking at hotels and stay here!

This was by far the BEST hotel I have ever stayed at! The whole staff is so kind! I’ve never met such happy and good hearted people. One time my husband and I went out to eat, and came back hot and sweaty from the long walk. One of the staff went out of her way to bring us cold water and cold towel to cool us down. Another time I was having a hard time rolling my luggage up the ramp, and one of the staff ran to help me with my bags. Another time my husband and I had to eat our breakfast very fast because our tour guide was picking us up early one morning. One of the staff members packed us breakfast and coffee to take with us on our tour. Our room was always clean and spotless. Everyone went above and beyond their job description, which I have never seen before. I think this just stems from the fact everyone is genuinely happy and have good hearts. My husband and will forever be grateful to them because they made our honeymoon very memorable. I recommend everyone to stay at this hotel!

Had such a nice experience in this hotel. The service is really to the highest standards. Everyone knew us by name and was super friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is really really nice, but the real difference is made my the staff. I was ill during my stay, but thanks to them I was still able to enjoy it to the fullest. Thank you so much.

Room- Family Suite The best thing about the hotel is the view from the rooms to an area with small rice fields: 5 star view ⭐️ The pool is excellent and the surrounding area very well maintained, although small (the sunbeds are comfortable but they seemed few for the size of the hotel) Mention the friendliness and kindness of all employees. The hotel shows some wear and tear, being in need of some renovation, namely in the beds and furniture in the rooms. The rooms (family suite) are large and the view is spectacular. Breakfast is a la carte, with a very limited offer, and without any variation. We stayed at the hotel for 4 days, and the breakfast options were strictly the same for all 4 days. I think the issue of breakfast needs to be urgently analyzed, because for what you pay for the hotel, the offer should be substantially greater, as it is a big disappointment as it is… The location is good, very close to the center of Ubud, the place is safe and easy to access.

Recommended place to stay in Ubud. Period. This place is located on the quieter side of Ubud. We booked 2-night-stay here and it is the best decision that we have made. From the entrance there is a spacious parking space. Staff greeted us and escorted us to the waiting lounge, this place is breathtaking. The lounge is facing the lush greenery, river, paddy field. Surprisingly there is not so much bugs or mosquitoes. We were offered drinks and special Lunar New Year dinner which we gladly took, staff was very thoughtful keep asking us if there is anything we need. Our room is at the top floor, it was so spacious, huge bed, huge bathroom, huge living room. The balcony is really nice, we could spot sunset amongst the trees. Our room was cleaned up twice a day. Water were refilled every time. Restaurant area has infinity pool facing the forest, food were okay. We spent one afternoon at the pool area swimming and enjoying the complimentary tea & snacks. Our dinner was lovely, superb performance of Barong dance and live music. Overall, this is a 10/10

Not too far from the center of city, I could enjoy all the heart of Ubud. Great pool with nature, clean and dry bed, great welcome drink and food and powerful hot water power... Most of all, service were excellent - even before the visit. Through WhatsApp I could give quick and warm answer anytime when I want. Your smile and kindness always made me happy in the hotel. Don't miss free Yoga lesson in the morning(08:00~09:00). Thank u Yoga teacher Agu and Gusti!

This was such a beautiful place for us to stay. We were in the two bedroom villa and had our own private pool. The rooms were immaculate. The service was so attentive to every detail. Yoga in the morning was beautiful. The meals were all amazing. And the setting of the hotel is perfect. Your own little garden Oasis just off the crazy roads of Ubud. I highly recommend this beautiful hotel!

Komaneka at Bisma was the perfect place for us to spend the second half of our honeymoon in Bali. Of all the Komanekas, I'm glad we stayed at this one, which is on a less major side road but an easy walk to everything in downtown Ubud. We had a private 1 bed villa, which did not disappoint (private pool, fantastic view, privacy). The staff was overly attentive and helpful, quickly learning our names and offering recommendations and suggestions. Breakfast was delicious and the turn down service (complete with robes) were an added bonus. My only two minor complaints: 1) the pool water in the villa was not heated and very cold due to limited direct sun, making it hard to enjoy. 2) there is a noted running path around the hotel, but I'm pretty sure no one there has actually run it (very steep hills, lots of stairs, literal rocks to hop across some water). But other than that, we look forward to when we can stay here again.

WOW! I’m still in absolute AWE of our stay here! Luxurious, yet still intimate and quaint. And Balinese owned! So truly authentic too! Wow wow wow wow. The Komaneka resort is absolutely stunning, featuring the most tranquil, breathtaking infinity pool overlooking the forest and lush magnificent greenery all throughout. My personal favourite spot was the hammocks overlooking the forest where I read my novel enjoying the chirping birds and sounds of the waterfall. I would highly recommend staying in a villa which was absolutely stunning with such a meticulous attention to detail. From the extra adapters stored in a cute little box, flip flops, house made lotion, candlelit, bath, hats and a beautiful straw bag for your use and so many other wonderful amenities - it’s a must! Definitely worth it. Oh and that private infinity pool overlooking the forest. Wow. Don’t get me started on the massage- again definitely worth it. You are taken to this beautiful little room overlooking the rainforest allowing the peaceful sounds of the waterfall is to calm you as you sink deeper into the most dreamy state of relaxation. Morning yoga is held in this incredible room that felt like it was taken from a movie. Couldn’t believe it was all real. Buffet breakfast was absolutely delicious too. The staff were so beyond kind- honestly felt like a family. Special thanks to Prima and Dewa Ayu for their amazing service and kindness, always remembering our names and making us feel so at home. Overall, the resort was dreamlike. A little slice of heaven not far from the main strip. Perfection.

A wonderful stay in Ubud. This hotel is not only beautiful, but the service is amazing. The staff is friendly, helpful, accommodating and kind. We had to unexpectedly bring our 2-year old along on our trip and everyone had been so friendly to him. This morning, they even brought out fish food so he could feed the koi fish. The free shuttle has been great as well to bring you to the center of Ubud. I thought this hotel would be a bit more walkable, but honestly, with the shuttle helping you to go closer to the hustle and bustle, the respite & location are nice and quiet. Rooms are amazing and huge for their price. Overall, incredibly pleased with our stay.

Great place - nice rooms and villas - staff is fantastic. Would have been great except there was no daytime tranquility with the grating construction noise (tile saw, drill, hammer, etc.). If you are looking to enjoy the calm and peaceful environment this place offers, maybe confirm that the construction is finished. Otherwise you won’t get what you are looking for.

10/10, an incredible hotel, perfect rooms with private forest views, immaculate gardens and pool area. Celebrated our wedding ceremony here in August 2022 - staff went above and beyond, thank you to Nana and all the team for the incredible Balinese hospitality, attention to detail and outstanding service from the moment we arrived. Cannot recommend highly enough!

A decade of huge well maintain villa skirting a flowing river. Lush plants perimeters the 3 main pools and private pools of the 10 villas and 30 over rooms. Staff are attentive and thoughtful. Food is authentic and varied. Great for honeymoon and private events. Highly recommended.

This is a fantastic hotel ~ make sure you book the villa/room with a pool (it's a full length infinity pool dropping into the rainforest in front of you). Really well located, right by the Ridge Walk end of Ubud, you feel like you're in your own Oasis here. The rooms are really well kitted out, service is impeccable, facilities are fantastic, staff are beyond friendly, free yoga everyday at 8am, breakfast is delicious (encourage you to get it to your room/pool area one day at no extra charge!), really easy to walk into Ubud, easy to get taxis, really lovely spa (best massage we had in Bali, as the spa treatment room overlooks a waterfall/river). This is a very well run hotel, we'd highly recommend staying here!

Our go to when we are in Ubud. Quiet street. Great amenities and good WiFi . Classic style villas and rooms right on the edge of the river gorge. Close to walk to center of town. Great local spa just 200 meters down the road when the amazing spa at Bisma is fully booked. Friendly and skilled staff. Feels like home.

We had an incredible stay here! The staff are all amazing. Very attentive and make an effort to get to know you and your names. They welcome you “home” each time you arrive back and upon saying goodbye, it really did feel like a little family vibe! Loved the pool and the little extras like afternoon tea. Would HIGHLY recommend ❤️ Thank you so much Komaneka! By far the best stay I’ve had in Bali 🥰

Words cannot describe my experience here. I have been lucky enough to travel the globe and stay in some of the finest hotels out there, however my breath was taken away here - by far the best experience of my life. The hotel is gorgeous, only a 10 min walk from the main Ubud strip, but is set on a hillside into rice fields and a jungle. The pools are fantastic, especially the infinity - looking at it from the restaurant or the lobby area it looks like the pool is going into the jungle like a bridge from civilization into nature. The breakfast and food / drinks in general were outstanding, even having a comprehensive set menu for breakfast with guests able to choose out of the great choices. The room was out of this World, a large 88m2 space with a huge bed, sofa, Apple TV, a large independent bath tub, a huge Italian rain shower, a walk in wardrobe. The attention to detail here was incredible; delicious cookies to devour in the room (refillable), anti-mosquito spray (made from natural ingredients), hand sanitizer, rose petals on the bed, a personalized hand written welcome card, a organic locally ingredient-sourced lotion, amongst many others. The grounds of the hotel are a treat, with lots of see and walk, beautiful vegetation with an embrace of nature. Last and the most important for me, the staff - I have had the best customer experience of my life. Everybody were so friendly, welcoming me 'home' after my daily walks, so attentive and caring (special thanks to Ade). There is nothing to fault. The price is very good, however I'd happily pay double as it is really is THAT good.

The best hotel in Bali. It was my first time to visit Komaneka at Bisma in 6 years tho, it rather got better than 6 years ago, it was truly amazing experience to stay with them. I love all hotel design and decorations, but especially staff service quality is top-notched. Room cleaning is done twice a day and all staffs are all well educated. One thing can be improved is breakfast quality. It’s good but taste can be better. Anw thank you for the great experience, I am fully recharged. definitely I will come back.

This was my favourite hotel in Ubud. The resort is very clean and well maintained compared to other 4-5 stars in the area. The rooms are spacious, and comfortable with a beautiful view overlooking the rice fields. Food was good and the service was superb. They have a hotel driver that will assist with drop offs and pick ups which was a nice touch. Overall had a wonderful experience here, and would highly recommend Komenka.

Just checked after a stay for 2 nights and couldn’t wait to put my review. When we reached we had booked a villa but to our safety concern for our kids we requested to shift to a suite room. Though at middle of night but it was done so quickly and without any haste all the way with a smile on every staff helping us there. Not only the the property is nice and serene but the behaviour of the staff was just lovely . When we asked if we could enjoy our drinks instead of those being served at hotel - the response was line- feel at your home , enjoy in your ways and just let us know how we can help out. Calm and quiet property . Quick service. Well behaved staff. Large pool . A good trek around the premises. All just a beautiful experience. Even if I visit a hundredth time @ Bali , this is the place to stay always . ❤️

A very comfortable and picturesque hotel in Ubud area. The rooms are spacious and the balcony view is amazing. The pool and garden area also fantastic. Staffs were so friendly and helpful on our visit. We had a great experience staying there.

A most beautiful hotel and terrific staff. They all made you feel so welcome and at home. Every effort was taken to ensure that you were safe, comfortable and totally relaxed. Of course the added benefit was the most amazing spa treatment in the middle of the forest with an amazing waterfall and river as the backdrop to this stunning and spectacular spa treatment. If you looking for a total relaxation experience this is it. Thanks so much to all at Komaneka for making this vacation a truly memorable one. It’s the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in throughout my world travel.
