We had a great stay at Artotel Haniman Ubud for 1night. Check in and check out were seamless and quick. Room was very spacious, well designed and decorated, and most importantly clean. The location is quite convenient, a 10 minutes walk to the center of Ubud, close by to many food places and Yoga Barn. Lastly, during our stay Artotel offers free yoga classes on Tuesdays and Fridays. We didn't manage to join the classes but definitely will stay with them again in the future and hopefully, join the classes.

Stayed here 5 nights, and the rooms are good value for money. Good shower and rooms are large and clean. There are a few things to note: the noise control is poor, we can hear everything Streetside so it isn't as peaceful as some of the other Ubud hotels. The lighting is very dark. The breakfast included in the room rate is average. Options are limited and portion sizes are small. For instance, the breakfast menu offers tea, coffee, Kombucha or your choice of juice with your meal. However, the only juice available was orange, and that wasn't fresh juice but made with syrup according to the waitstaff. For your latte, you also have to pay extra for other milk options. The eggs your way also requires you to pay extra if you order an omelet. There are no Indonesian menu options and there's no fruit or yoghurt available. Probably wouldn't stay here again.

Beautiful polished concrete in rooms with modern, clean decor. Not much natural light in rooms though and rooms on the street side were noisy from traffic. Ask for a quiet room in the back if you want to sleep past 7am or relax in your room during the day. Staff were delightful and helpful. The hotel restaurant, Jatayu next door appears like a cafe but is in fact fine dining. The dishes were exquisitely presented and tasted great, as did the coffee. The pool is small and shallow but good enough to refresh you after a hot day walking around the shops, which are very close. I didn’t try the spa massage but the room comes with 15mins free! I would recommend you stay if you want a modern hotel with good service for a reasonable price. It feels boutique as it is not huge but it is luxury at a good price.

I loved this hotel when I stayed in Ubud. The hotel was modern, clean and the pool was so cute (due to my busy schedule, I didn’t get a chance to use the pool). If your room includes breakfast, they will give you a voucher for breakfast next door (Flock) and it was excellent. I highly recommend this place and will definitely go back when I come to Ubud again. Thank you.

Awesome hotel. Have stayed here twice now, 4 years apart and it has been great both time. Kind staff, good showers, AMAZING spa treatments and a handy cool cafe/restaurant next door where the included breakfast is served.

The room is so clean and big. I stayed in ground floor with a cute balcony and their staff are friendly as well. I would definitely go back again. Wish the pool was bigger 😬 It was so close to yogabarn

We arrived today so not much to say . when my wife and I went into the room ( ground floor ) it wasn’t what we expect from the pictures . Our bedroom is nice and they made a nice flower bouquet for our Honeymoon but there is a awfull smell in the bathroom and big problem for me the window is facing a brick wall . With a tiny bit of light . My issue is not to much the room but I am claustrophobic … I went to see the staff to ask to switch room but it seems the hotel is fully booked even thought we saw people checking in after us . No solutions was made for the first night . I will update this post as soon as this situation change . I don’t normally give bad stars since I am in Bali ( we have done 9 hotels so far ) . But right now I think they could have found better solutions. We will find another place for tonight . Next time they should put the right pictures of the room. Update : we ve spent the night somewhere else but the staff were nice and says they apologies about not being able to do anything . UPDATE 2 : we arrive the day after and we ve got welcome by the staff . We had an upgraded room not facing a wall , and they offered us different services to apology about not being able to help the night before . We re now waiting to see if they will do the extra by refunding the first night . But thank you to the staff for doing their best . UPDATE 3 : The staff is so nice ! And we had an amazing massage and laundry offered by the staff to apology . To recap : Mistakes happen but real service was there the next day and they have been more than amazing with us . 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻

Awesome hotel. Friendly and very accommodating staffs, strategic location (in a quite corner but so many shortcut to reach the Ubud centre, so close to Hanoman & Monkey Forest Street. (Walking distance)

Great choice for travelers looking for a stylish and convenient place to stay in Ubud. The hotel is located in the heart of Ubud, close to many shops, supermarkets, restaurants, laundry service and attractions. It is also a short ride from Mt Batur and Tegalalang, where you can catch the sunrise. Yoga Barn is located within 10 - 15 mins walk from the hotel. The hotel has a modern design with a touch of Balinese flair. The rooms are spacious and well-appointed, with all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. It also has a great restaurant, Flock Cafe, which serves delicious food and coffee. The french toast and donuts are especially good. In fact, everything served on the menu is pretty remarkable! Few areas for improvement - There was a hint of sewage or mold smell in the groundfloor room that we stayed in. The hotel could also consider changing the bedsheets more regularly. Overall, Artotel Haniman Ubud is a great choice for travelers looking for a stylish and convenient place to stay in Ubud!

I spent two lovely nights, Service was excellent, Location was very good just a stone's throw away from famous eateries and hang out chill places and yet the hotel was quiet and relaxing. The bfast is at the next door cafe although the selection is small but all the items in the menu were cooked to perfection. Flawless!!

Nice hotel centrally located in Ubud, just a few minutes by scooter to the city center. The staff is very friendly, refilling water bottles upon request, and daily cleaning. The design of the hotel is modern and beautiful. Breakfast (and other meals) can be bought at the restaurant next door (Flock) with a 10% discount voucher from the hotel. The only downside of the hotel is that it's not very sound proof, we could hear people just normally talking and laughing by the pool from our room (107, which is one of the furthest away from the pool on the ground floor).

The room was comfortable, clean and well laid out. Only complaint was lack of adequate lighting for makeup/shaving by sink. Staff was excellent from the greeters to the spa. Flock next door had great coffee and breakfast. Walkable location between Yoga Barn and town restaurants and shops.

Cute little boutique hotel. Rooms are very nice and they offer a good amount of services like massages and tours. Location is good, waking distance to the monkey sanctuary. Would definitely recommend if you're in the area.

The room was great! Modern, comfortable, bright and airy with a lovely balcony. Great swimming pool. We liked this hotel so much we stayed an extra night. Also staff were lovely, very friendly and helpful especially when we were let down for a tour that we had arranged with a private company that no longer exists. Beware of booking trips on Tripadvisor! They left us high and dry but the hotel receptionist saved the day by quickly arranging another tour for us with a brilliant driver named Roi. The hotel also provided an excellent transfer and drop off service from Seminyak at a very reasonable rate. Eric the driver was excellent!

Modern and realy ART hotel. The service includes many creative surprises. Your water will be renewed at any time. There is a coffee machine with capsules. Even the smallest room, Studio 30, is very spacious, with a lot of space. The air conditioner doesn't smell. When we arrived, a delicious gift was waiting for us. There is free yoga at the hotel 2 times a week. On open air. The Monkey Forest is a 5-minute walk away. Breakfast included is of high quality in the Folk restaurant. Discount on all restaurant visits! Discount as much as 50% on SPA. but sign up in advance. We didn't get in the first time, everything was busy. The downside is that the rooms are quite dark, but the interior is superb. By the way, the pool is cleaned every day, it’s cool to just sit next to it. We will definitely stay at this hotel again, I recommend it!

Really didn’t like this hotel. Waited an extra 1.25hours after check in time for my room to be ready. The pool area isn’t great. The lounges are stained and have lots of bird poo. The pool towels are also in bad condition and stained Because of this I only spent 10minutes in the pool before leaving Not a great environment. The location isn’t central and I had to use grab every time I wanted to go somewhere. Despite the location not being central, I could hear bikes go past my room all day and all night. The noisiest hotel I’ve stayed in. I asked if breakfast was in cafe next door but then had to pay for my breakfast at flock. I would’ve gone elsewhere if I knew I had to pay. It’s an average cafe. This hotel is my fifth one on my holiday in Bali and the most disappointing as well as the most expensive. Wish I chose a different hotel.

I know everyone seems to have a great review here and I really wanted to leave one but I must have got the only room that wasn't so good. The layout is good and the amenities great, but the mould was so bad. You expect this to some degree when staying in Ubud where you are low down in a ravine or there has been heaps of rain but this was neither of those situations. It was a really strong mould smell that keeps you up. I was only there 1 night to catchup with friends in Ubud, so it was really just a place to sleep, but would have moved to a different hotel if I was staying longer. Checkin was great and staff were great. Shame :(

The room was clean and spacious, just like the bathroom. We booked a room with jungle view, but got one with street view on arrival. The room with street view is very noisy by day and by night. Got an hour's worth of massage as compensation. Otherwise, there's nothing wrong with the hotel. Service was awesome, as was the breakfast. Although portion could be bigger and options are limited.

The location is very close to everything, 5-minute walk to many restaurants and supermarket. I really love the ambience and design of the hotel. The room is spacious and clean too. Not to mention the breakfast, the food (ala carte) was good and the kombucha was too nice! We also booked the spa!

Comfortable stylish and clean hotel in a central location of Ubud. The rooms are modern and spacious, the staff is super friendly and helpful. We just booked a room with jungle view and got a view to a parking space what we didn’t wanted. But we got a discount after some discussions. The rest of the stay was perfect and they even organized a special breakfast regarding food intolerance.

stayed here 6 nights and everything was great! Service was nice and the room as well. I also loved the restaurant and their coffee! Will definitely go here when I come back to Bali for pleasure next time.

Pros: - room has more than everything you’d need ie free water, coffee machine, umbrellas - v comfy bed and full block out curtains for great sleep - well located if you want to stay in central Ubud - modern hotel, nice pool, free yoga - friendly and helpful staff. Always around and avail on WhatsApp Cons: - we had a ground floor road facing room which i’d avoid if you can. The balcony was not somewhere you’d want to sit and room was v dark. You feel a bit like you’re in a cellar under the street. - this is a v hustle bustle area. Personally I’d stay further out and just rely on bikes as it’s manic as soon as you walk out the door. This is obvs personal preference but I hadn’t been to Ubud in about 4 years and it’s defo busier than last time (or maybe I’ve just got older!).

The hotel has a pleasant aesthetic, spacious rooms and polite staff. However I had a partially unpleasant stay. I spent one night without air conditioning. It kept breaking down despite the maintenance staff in the room around 11:30 pm which was uncomfortable. I was offered to switch rooms the next day.

We came here for our honeymoon. What a quite surprise, they gave us a cute towel swans decoration in our room. The view from our room is astonishing, you can look directly to the forest and listen to the sound of nature. The staffs were really friendly and helpful. There is a cafe/ restaurant/bar next door, very convenient. Love this place!

Despite staying only for 1 night, this is a hotel I remember for a long time for one reason: amazing water pressure in the shower! 😍🚿 Best overhead rain shower I've had in a long time! The room and food at Flock are great too.

We spent 3nights at Artotel Haniman. The room is big & all amenities is provided (Studio 40). But it's a bit damp, dark, & dusty. We request a room with a jungle view/pool, but didn’t get it. Ask for a second floor room for better lighting. Overall, it was a good stay. Breakfast at Flock is good, but only limited menus. They serve a delicious latte. The spa is good & have 50% discount. It's our 3rd time stay with Artotel Group and never regret it

Best stray in center of Ubud. They have a winning formula: well built hotel, modern yet very local design, well trained and adorable staff, wonderdul breakfast. I tried many places in town and this is whatt you need for a silent night in clean bedding. Thanks to the team for the efforts and see you again soon.

We spent several nights here during the pandemic and health protocols are well applied. Our room located in the second floor which overlook to the little jungle and full of greenies. The bed is so comfy with small working desk beside the bed so it's perfect for you who's looking some place for work from home. Also their breakfast is one of the best breakfast we've ever had.

Everything about this hotel is awesome. Tucked in a quiet corner and having a street market along lanes for shopping. Stayed on the 2nd floor with a balcony. Room is nice and clean. Staffs are really friendly. Will come here again definitely. Cafe is great too at the side!

I stayed in the hotel for about 1 month. All the staff are extremely lovely, remembering and calling me by name at each interaction. This was by far the cleanest room I have stayed in while exploring all of Bali island. Gede specifically was extremely helpful with any questions I had and assisting me when extending my stay. The hotel is a quick 5-7 minute walk from the Yoga Barn.

The staff is very friendly and always being willing to help. The facilities are very nice and confortable. The location is perfect and they have lot of places to eat near. The breakfast are super tasty. They have laundry service and also spa. We tried the balinese massage and it was amazing. If we come back to Bali, we will repeat for sure.

Perfect Ubud hotel stay: small, boutique-sized , but incredible attention to detail in the design. Artotel Haniman Ubud evokes the creative soul of its Ubud neighborhood. Great location and proximity to restaurants, Ubud shopping. The employees are professional and easy going ~ great mix of cool and collected. The hotel was stylish and cosy, very clean and our Studio 40 was great, with the view of the Ubud forest. The room was a good size, had everything you needed, espresso machine, very comfortable king size bed and great bathroom with lovely powerful shower. Tried the massage in the Spa and was very comfortable and clean, the massage has been consistently good every time. Breakfast at Flock cafe next door was delicious and easy, great ambience, love their Kombucha. Artotel Haniman Ubud is relaxing haven, amazing staff and great base for exploring. Would stay again!

Flawless experience. I am accustomed to staying in marriott hotels and this boutique hotel was completely comparable. Incredibly proactive staff. Breakfast was bomb. Room was terrific from A-Z. Amenities all available and in great condition. There was even an unconventional balcony! If I really have to nidpick, then consider staying elsewhere if you are a light sleeper. Street can get loud, but otherwise, FLAWLESS EXPERIENCE.

The hotel is small but very comfortable. The room is quite spacious and really like the interior of the room. There is a place for yoga on the rooftop. There is a swimming pool too although it is small, nice staff and excellent service

Nice modern hotel just off the main street of Ubud. Fantastic service from the staff, nice pool area and a nice restaurant next door. I only give 4 stars as the door to our outdoor area wouldn't lock and you can access neighbours outdoor areas & there was a gap under the front door letting light/ sound in. Apart from that it was a great hotel I would recommend to anyone

  • 5/5 N L. 1 year ago on Google
Super kind and nice staff. Big room. Super comfy bed—even better than 5-star hotel we stayed at! Will definitely come again!

  • 5/5 Mun Ching Y. 1 year ago on Google
Great location - easy walk to the main streets but away from the jam and noise. Service was perfect and the spa massages are highly recommended. The ground floor rooms are highly recommended because of the balcony yard.

Place is super clean, rooms are minimalist and kind of a Japan vibe. The Tv would turn on by it self… the coffee shop on the side is a bit pricey as they are small serves but delicious food.

The comfortable place to stay. With good atmosphere, i really enjoyed to stay here. The staff is very welcome and can bring a good service as i want. Hopefully i can comeback with my friend or my family soon.

I stayed 3 nights here. A very comfortable and pleasant place for me and my family. Clean, spacious rooms, very friendly staff. Everything is the same as in the photos on Google. Breakfast in the restaurant with a very delicious breakfast menu. I surely will come back to stay here someday.

The hotel has such a comfortable and relaxing ambience and view. There is even a pool, too. Next to the hotel is a restaurant where you can have breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Unfortunately, the hotel has limited rooms. Other than that, they have a spa on the third floor. I love it. The staffs and employees are friendly and nice, too. I think it's worth it to stay there
