We stayed at Ketut's in the last week of December and our stay coincided with a wedding celebration in the family. We were asked months prior to our check in whether we would like to continue with our booking ans were given full information that the restaurant would remain closed at the time of the wedding, we still chose to stay and it was one of the main highlights of our trip. Not only did we get to experience a Balinese wedding ceremony, the entire family was so so hospitable, even though they were extremely busy with the wedding. They were so kind to invite us for dinner along with the wedding guests, have a few beers with the staff and family, we absolutely loved every minute of it. In spite of the commotion at their home, the service promised never suffered, and the breakfast was always served on time and always tasted great. The place itself is quaint and quiet, perfectly located from Ubud centre and just a beautiful sight to wake up to. Would recommend 100%, great value for money.

The complex is pretty. The room was good. Really nice was the option to have breakfast served either on the own balcony or on the poolside. I also liked that we didn't hear the street and the aircon was not as loud as in other places. Also booked seats to watch the dance nearby (good as well) and had the reception help us rent a scooter, which was brought to the place by the rental company (convenient).

Absolutely incredible place! Beautiful Bali architecture with a ornate family temple inside. The pool is great and the room was really comfortable. Having breakfast on your own balcony every morning was such a touch. The staff were also exceptionally helpful, arranging taxis around town and making our stay as comfortable as possible. TOP TIP: 100% do the massage here. It’s right at the back of the property underneath the pool area in its own jungle valley. The massage was excellent and you’re away from the noise of mopeds from the main street. Probably top 3 massages I’ve ever had.

Beautiful place! Very friendly people. From outside you don't see the amazing place that exists inside. Beautiful family temple with a small lake and a "blueish" pool with a view to the jungle. We had a massage here and it was so soothing and relaxing, just listening the water falling... to repeat definitely!

We did not stay here, but met some friends who did. We had a lovely breakfast and a beautiful setting. Part II: We stopped by a few days later for dinner, and what a pleasant surprise! I had sweet and sour chicken and it was delicious, and my wife also had a chicken dish. It is a very low key place, but there is a nice eating area upstairs.

Ketuts place is located in the heart of Ubud. What I love is the hospitality shown by the family. The architecture has traditional balanise written all over. I stayed here along with my brother for 3-4 days. The room could have been better. The breakfast available is unique and complete. Smiling faces of all the people there make your day special.

If you are looking for a great escape from the hustle this will definitely a great choice. Surrounded by the real nature, you can definitely get some good rest (feel like in the jungle). The owner is really friendly and helpful. Staffs are amazing too! Good job

I stayed almost two weeks and it was great. The room was comfortable and very clean.Lovely welcoming helpful staff and family owners. It's beautiful constantly maintained gardens give guests privacy. Breakfasts were excellent and restaurant meals very tasty. The popular large pool was kept very clean. It's a handy location, walkable to main area (if not too hot). It felt like home. Highly recommended!

A very climatic, beautiful place. Very charismatic and pretty. The food is tasty, smoothies are delicious. Rooms are fine, nothing special and not fully to western standards, but the surrounding area is great. Friendly, helpful staff. Only bad thing: baby cot is charged extra for some reason.

Absolutley stunning and peaceful place in traditional Balinese style. The gardens are beautiful, the rooms are very comfortable and there is a lovely homely feel. Well located within walking distance of the centre of Ubud. The staff are so lovely and special thanks to the manager who helped us to manage a complicated situation.

The place looks traditional, but then the rooms are small. If you want to stay in a small comfortable room, then you can opt this place. They have good service and also it’s very nearby to the Ubud Market.

Nice and cute place not far from the Center of Ubud. Ketut and his family are so friendly and helped us organising trips, driver, tix. The hotel is simple but lovely, amazing view from the pool. We felt very welcome and enjoyed our stay so much.

This place is gorgeous!!!! The room I stayed in Looked over a jungle ravine, green and luscious. The room was huge as well as the patio area very clean and comfortable. The staff/family are incredibly kind and helpful. The pool was refreshing and clean. Maybe 5 minute scooter ride to city center.I would 100% stay here again.

Ketut's is conveniently located within a short walk to Town Centre but is a quiet peaceful oasis. It is the ideal place to relax and recharge as there is a pool, spa center where massages are amazing, and breakfast delivered daily to your room (if you want). The licenced cafe has a great menu and delicious meals if you don't feel like going out for a meal, so that was an unexpected bonus. I am a solo female traveler and felt welcomed, safe and at home from the first minute to the last minute there as the staff are all friendly, professional and welcoming but just as many families and couples there as well as there are different size villas available. As it is villa style accommodation and generously spaced out, there is privacy and space and quiet for every guest, so I appreciated I chose it for that as well that reason as well. Could not recommend it highly enough.

Ketut's place was an amazing way to enjoy Bali and true Balinese culture. We felt so welcomed from the first moments. Our room exceeded any expectations we had and we truly enjoyed during our stay. Everything went smoothly from the hotel organising our pick-up from the airport to the drop off back. We were able to choose our breakfast daily and they even organised massages for us in the property with a reasonable price. Ketut's restaurant was also a nice way to have lunch or dinner if we were tired. The hotel is also in a walking distance from the heart of Ubud but still the atmosphere remains calm and very close to nature. Everything was clean, the foods were super and the staff ever so helpful. We cannot express our enjoyment more. We recommend Ketut's place for anyone from solo travellers, couples to families.

By far the best resort we have done in Bali. This place is amazing, really authentic, great rooms, food/breakfast is amazing, the family is so nice and helpful, lots of services available and on top of that it's really well located yet in a very quiet area... don't hesitate to book here for a second. With love Antoine and Celia

This family compound is beautiful and the staff are so very helpful. They happily organise what ever you need with a smile. Prices great and the food delicious. Comfortable walk to Ubud Palace and lots of food and mini mart options close by. Very safe walking back from town. Lots of illumination and stall holders still opened into the night. Garden and pool just divine. Just loved my stay here. My sone had room 3. Close to reception and few stairs. He loved the private garden, super cool, and quiet aircon, terrific onsite massages and great service especially the room service. I had deluxe room 14. So very spacious down the bottom of the property. There was 49 stairs but easily manageable for basic fitness level. I had the whole floor to myself including numerals balconies. So very private. And the river and jungle sounds just breathtaking. Everyone went out of their way to make our stay amazing. I’d definitely recommend and will be back as soon as I can. They were even able to organise a driver to take us to Seminyak for our next stay and Demi he was very lovely and helpful. So knowledgeable and he offered us many of the tourist sites on the way if we wanted. Just magic. And also I forgot to mention the amazing fire dancing a few doors down that Ketut and his son perform at. Worth the time for sure. Loved it all. And so close to other restaurants and great coffee sports so you didn’t have to walk into town if you didn’t feel like it. Just loved the place🥰

Beautiful family run accommodation in the heart of Ubud. Stunning property, we will definitely go back and try out some of the other amazing bungalows!

Lovely B&B. Ask for a room by the river valley if you want serenity amongst lush green surroundings. Thoroughly enjoyed sitting in the balcony with the sound of the stream below.

We really had a blast at Ketut's bed and breakfast. What a wonderful and lush place. It's located in the centre of Ubud and at the same time you are surrounded by nature once you entre their beautiful garden. The stuff is really helpful and kind. You can choose a delicious breakfast for the next morning and even where you want to have it. Thank you Ketut and family for welcoming us!

For a very reasonable price you have a great bed & breakfast (or kind of home stay) with a variety of all sorts of coffee and a great breakfast! The cottages are authentic and surrounded by a wonderful garden: you only hear the sounds of nature eventhough Ketuts place is very centrally located. Very friendly staff!

Photos can be deceiving. Hygiene seems to be a myth (as a whole). The first room we were given had more mould then a bottle milk left for 6 months. The second room we needed a crane to get to, small enough that you barely have room for a bag let alone stand in. Locations great, staff service was average at best, breakfast well the question should be do they understand the concept of it. The pool could do with a clean especially with the layer of visible oil on the water. The towels smell like they have been left in a dusty damp cabinet to dry and reuse. More suited for backpackers

Magical stay at Ketuts place. We had the chance to both stay in the bed & breakfast and the villas. It was such a great expérience. The place itself is fantastic, close to Ubud but in a quiet area, very relaxing. The rooms were super clean, the pool is perfect and the staff very dedicated and nice. Would recommend ×100!

Very beautiful traditional Balinese house. Relax and chill environment. The room was clean and comfortable. Super friendly and helpful owner. Location was ok. Walking distance to some restaurants and convenience stores. About 600m walk to Ubud Art Market.

A wonderful family run set of villas. About a 12 minute stroll to the center of town (Ubud). Enjoyed breakfast by the swimming pool every morning. Pay about $10 extra for the air conditioned units and well worth it! The place has a good vibe to it.

Adorable little hideaway close to the city. Beautiful poolside and nice breakfast options. My only complaints would be the limited scooter parking and the absence of waterpressure for the hot water in the shower (on the 3rd floor) If you like cold showers, no problem though. Would recommend. The rooms are very cozy and the staff is friendly and helpful.

Everything is great. All clean and you can see how people take care of everything there with love. Breakfast is nice and tasty, hosts are very kind. Not speaking about how beautiful territory there is, and clean, pleasant pool. Internet could be better in upper room, but that’s the only thing which could be improved, otherwise that was a great pleasure to stay in this family’s place.

This place has a nice garden but old and not very clean. We upgraded the room with an AC unit which hardly have any cool air blowing out. Also power ran out that night and we have no AC and fan. Pretty much stayed up the whole night. Breakfast was good.

The location is very pretty and has a great feel to it but once inside the room things change for the worse. No TV, hairdryer, real AC (the window unit is about 20 years old and does nothing), no mini fridge, bed was super rough, military style bed sheets, etc. etc. It was pretty bare bones in all. It's also a bit of a way away from all the main shopping areas. Staff was friendly and the breakfast was good in the morning but not much else to say about it. Our night ended with us sweating on the bed with no sheets because it got that hot inside. Whew.

Amazing hotel, I would suggest to book a deluxe room with view on the Riverside. Breakfast is awesome and you can get massages and book tours directly from the reception. The family owning the place is lovely and they will spoil you all the time. I would definitely come back if I will ever visit Ubud again. Thank you!

Great place and everyone was very friendly! The rooms are super traditional and give you a great sense of Balinese culture. The garden and pool is also stunning! Would be great if the rooms could have a mini fridge, a hair dryer and some small shampoo and conditioner. But everything else was great!

You are getting a true Balinese experience (architecture, environment, food, service) at Ketut's Place. Staff are amazing, included breakfast that is tasty and the venue is very clean. Pool has a magnificent view and promotes a family friendly atmosphere as well as massages on offer (at a cost) down near the flowing river.

I visited pak Ketut's place with my brother. The place is rather hidden from the road so you might have to pay close attention to the sign. Mas Koming, pak Ketut's son is very friendly and helpfull. They had dogs too, but the dogs are friendly. Room was quite large, clean, have hot and cold shower. Room 16 has a very calming view of forest cliff. A plus point. Thank you pak Ketut and mas Koming for your hospitality, looking forward to visit again in the future

👍👍 Very relaxing place, where you are hosted by a family. Very accommodating people. 🫤 The room was very moldy. I got sick for a week after sleeping in there for 2 nights. But the owner was very friendly and put me into a much nicer room for the rest of my stay. It is a big plus to have a pool and a kitchen for that price. However the kitchen is pretty gross and very poorly equipped....
