Absolutely loved my stay here! The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, making me feel right at home from the get-go. Located right in the heart of Ubud, it's perfectly situated for exploring the town and beyond. The room design is stunning, blending traditional Balinese elements with modern comfort. Highly recommend for a truly memorable Bali experience!

Amazing location, beautiful architecture & an incredible stay! We had the most perfect room. Modern style, spacious, a japanese bathtub, balcony and forest views. The whole stay was very special and v peaceful. We also saw squirrels in the trees - so cute! Loved the fact that they offered yoga classes in morning as well! Great start! The breakfast was held on their rooftop in their beautiful in house restaurant. It was amazing to hear that they are all about community and most of the produce comes straight from their own vegetable gardens in Ubud. wow! Also loved chilling at the pool and watching sunset from up there x Would highly recommend staying at Bisma eight xxx

We stayed for 5 nights at Bisma Eight and totally enjoyed their hospitality. I would say what left the deepest impression in me was the kindest and most professional service from all the staff members. You can tell the people serve with pride. From the day we arrived, the front desk staff have helped to arrange all our excursions and spa. The cars and tour guides were always there when we reached the lobby. We never have to wait for them. As you walk pass the staff member in the narrow green alley to our room, they always greet us, let you walk through first before they continue with their work. I realised a group of staff collecting used plates from a room actually came out of the lift and let me use the lift first. I didn’t realise it until a while later. I felt so sorry and am very thankful of how considerate they were. Over at Copper, we had our 3-course Balinese dinner. I didn’t like the fish and asked if they can change it to chicken for me. Not only did they did it but even make sauté I had the right type of rice to pair the dish. In the morning at the breakfast table, Novi greeted us and us our room number before we even need to say it. The service from Ary and Maya were excellent. It makes our start of the day great! At the reception, Ayu was always there to greet us by name and asked if we need anything today. Always appreciate her thoughtfulness. We were hosted by our driver, Leon who took us to the padi field, coffee plantation and waterfall. When he heard we wanted to try the crispy duck, he brought us to one of the very best restaurants he knew of with a view to the padi field, no less. We can’t thank Bisma Eight enough for their hospitality - and every staff member we came across, and including the housekeepers. We don’t see you but thank you, for cleaning our room. We were treated to a beautiful sunset view at the poolside as we were having tea on our last day here. Thank you Bisma Eight! We will be back!

Just returned after spending 5 days in Ubud under Bisma Eight's roof. The property is beautifully modern and pays tribute to traditional craftsmanship, while being immersed in nature. The daily breakfast at Copper is a delight, with a varied menu, and delicious food. Service throughout our stay was friendly, warm and attentive. Our room (Canopy Suite) was beautifully furnished and refreshed regularly during our stay. The Rooftop Bar is an excellent place for signature cocktails, and the location is within walking distance to many great restaurants, as well as in proximity to the historic sites of Ubud. All of our needs were met and exceeded with great prompt and care, and this made staying at Bisma Eight a delight. One minor thing to address would be the intrusion of reptiles and insects into the rooms. I am confident that our room had a resident gecko living in it, and this gecko would chirp loudly into the night, and would therefore be quite distracting. Whilst I am aware and comfortable with the presence of geckos and other animals all around the property due to its proximity to forests, having a loud gecko in the room was a little detracting from the living experience. Otherwise, I am thoroughly impressed with our stay, and will hope to return in the future!

Our stay here was simply perfect - it started with the well arranged airport pickup, where we immediately received refreshment towels and water. Everyone in this hotel was as friendly, welcoming, and helpful as we barely experienced before. The breakfast was amazing and always a highlight of our day. The rooms were beautiful, and has everything you need to unwind. I particularly loved the extra sit-down mirror with more than sufficient space for my beauty products. The pool was also really cool, you could oversee the jungle below and enjoy some great cocktails while relaxing. Can only highly recommend!

The most perfect stay. We took our baby and 4 year old and were upgraded to a forest suite on arrival. The room was spotless and one thing we noticed throughout the stay was the huge effort this place went to to ensure the rooms were bug free. The coffees were SO good and we loved breakfast - a super selection of Western and Asian dishes to choose from every morning and all were excellent! Staff were so lovely, the pool was stunning. We went on to stay at a large 6 star resort and on discussion when we left bali we said that Bisma Eight was where we would return over the other hotel! Thank you so much for the best stay! The only downside was everything in the room like our clothes were a bit damp but this could just be the nature of staying in the jungle!! And the huge tub took a long time to fill up but it was fun to try. We didn’t make the most of the complimentary extras as we were just exploring for most of the time - but such a nice touch!

We had an incredible week staying in one of the villas. It’s a beautifully kept place, and the staff were so attentive - nothing was too much. The villa itself was stunning, although the outside space didn’t get a lot of sun (they have a lovely pool at the main hotel for sunbathing). The gym was well air-conditioned, and the massages were excellent (although a fair bit more expensive compared to local places). Food was outstanding, and we never left hungry! Overall a wonderful stay and we’d come right back if we visited Ubud again.

The rooms are beautiful. The pool has amazing views. Great breakfast. What impressed me the most was the entire team at Bisma Eight who are extremely polite and helpful. Special shout out to the front desk team. Extremely helpful and took care of every single detail. Thank you for a lovely experience.

This hotel is a proper dream. A peaceful oasis in the middle of the buzzy Ubud. Design and facilities are amazing and they make you feel relaxed from the first moment you step in, but what I really loved too was the amazing service of the whole team. From the first moment until when you leave, they make you feel super welcomed and the make your stay an unforgettable experience. Also, swimming pool has stunning views for sunset and food at the restaurant is super yummy! No doubt we will come back. Thanks Bisma Eight team!

As some other reviews have mentioned “best hotel they have ever stayed at” - they are not exaggerating. This is hands down on of the best hotels we have ever stayed at - having been to many other wonderful hotels around the world. The rooms are absolutely picture perfect - the pool is exceptional and has a tremendous view - and the food and drinks are wonderful. But truly the most important part is the staff. They are hands down some of the most considerate and kind people we have come across in our travels and will go to great lengths to make sure your stay is great. Some of the major perks of this hotel is that they staff is more than happy to help connect you with great local points of interest, and restaurants. They also have tour services available to show you around to some of the beautiful spots in Ubud, and it is absolutely worth it. We intend to stay here again when we return - you’d be crazy not to.

Loved our stay at Bisma Eight! The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the hotel grounds were so well kept and beautiful. The view from the infinity pool is just breath taking. The rooms themselves were very clean and the bed was super comfortable. The bath products smelled great and the towels were very good quality. The location of the hotel is also fantastic - it is just a short walk to get to the center of Ubud, but the road that the hotel is on also has a lot of restaurants, spas and live music and is less chaotic than main Ubud. I feel like we really lucked out on our stay here at Bisma Eight and I highly recommend everyone consider staying here if they are in Ubud!

BEST HOTEL WE HAVE EVER STAYED AT. The friendly and kind staff were super accommodating to our requests and went out of their way to make us feel welcome and cared for. They were absolutely meticulous and took care of us very, very well. We had a wonderful time and would recommend a stay here if you are stressed out and tired. We were fully recharged and in a really relaxed mood when we left. We loved: 1.The staff - Like I said, they took real good care of us. Reception was patient and kind, helping us to arrange activities and transport, and the drivers were skillful and professional. We had some hiccups and could not attend some of the activities we had booked, but they quickly and efficiently sorted out new activities for us Really appreciate their kindness and helpfulness. Restaurant staff took note of our preferences and would check to make sure we didn't inadvertently order food we couldn't eat. 2. The rooms - Clean and tidy, quiet and private. Our room faced a bit of a valley so no one would see into our ground floor room. The bath was really comfy, it was made of really sturdy wood and fits 2, I liked that it was not slippery and I felt safe getting in and out of it. 3. The food - Really nice food in a rooftop terrace setting. Breakfast was a treat every morning, and the dinner menu was smashing good. 4. The pool was really nice, it is an infinity pool and there's a bar on the side where we could order and sip on cocktails.

The staff went out of their way to ensure we had the most comfortable stay. We've never had such excellent customer service like we had at bisma. If that isn't enough, the rooms are absolutely beautiful and clean. The resort is scented with incense throughout and beautifully decorated with art. The infinity pool has a gorgeous outlook and is very relaxing. They have music playing but quietly so you can chill and nap on their comfy sunbeds. The breakfast included is a la carte and the option to have it delivered in room is a nice touch. We tried a variety of their options during our stay and all were delicious. I honestly don't have one bad word to say about this place or anything that needs improvement. It's perfect. Even the location is close enough to walk to the main strip yet far enough away to enjoy the quiet. Highly recommended. You won't regret it.

Hands down my favourite place to stay in Ubud, and I've stayed at some great places including the Mandala and Como shambala. The villas are perfect, modern Bali vibe and You're walking distance to most things in Ubud. It's incredibly relaxing yet also easy to just walk out the door and find a restaurant, cafe, whatever. Staff are great, and the styling is simply perfect. We're vegan, and I have to say the breakfasts are fabulous!

Big rooms with beautiful interior design, very helpful and kind service. Balcony and front door have extra protection against instects, which I really appreciated - first time in Bali I noted so much care for details. Location is amazing - quiet, in the middle of the forest but walking distance to anywhere in Ubud. Note spa is in another building (7 min walking distance), which is not ideal.

A very lovely hotel right in Ubud. We were upgraded to the Forest Suite and it was very big and able to comfortably accommodate 3 pax (the sofa become the third bed). The amenities were good and if you needed something, the staff were happy to provide it. The service of the staff was really good as they were friendly and prompt in their service. There was also a wide array of western and Indonesian styled complimentary breakfast which made it really easy for us to not have to worry about what to eat. I would definitely return to Bisma Eight!

We stayed in one the villa and it was an absolute perfect experience. The staff is the most amazing you will find, they are very so nice and pay attention to all the little details. This is certainly the most luxurious stay you could find in Ubud. The location is also a key highlight as the hotel and villas are located 5 min from the center. Overall I highly recommend to stay at Bisma Eight in the hotel or in one of their stunning villas! Thank you again for this magical moments!

Gorgeous hotel with a boutique rustic and luxurious feel. The rooms are spacious and well thought out with comfortable beds and a very nice sofa. Bathroom also nicely designed. Mountain View’s at breakfast which made it memorable and also a very nice pool with a great view. Highly recommended

The best place I stayed at in Bali! Very peaceful and quiet, lush green gardens and stunning jungle views at the pool, only minutes away from the town center. The rooms are spacious and everything inside makes perfect sense, all decorations and furniture have a modern and beautiful design, yet very functional too. Wooden floors, comfy armchair, the blend of colors and teak furniture, the lamps with warm light - all create a cozy yet stylish atmosphere. The bed is very comfortable, AC works perfectly, the water gets really hot at the shower and has a lot of pressure (unlike other places in Bali). The bathroom features an amazing Japanese soak tub where one can relax and feel like at the spa after a busy day out. The garden suites have a cozy sitting area just outside the room, where you can have coffee or read a book, or do nothing at all but just relax. I cannot wait to return here!

Great property and great service. Truly boutique experience all around with calming panoramic views from Copper rooftop bar and restaurant. Food options good and vegan friendly. Enjoyed this property during our stay whilst both, working remotely and relaxing.

Stayed here for 3 days and it was really pleasant to be here! Lush green ravines, located in Ubud, more like jungle hideout which is perfect for a short escape from the busy city.. Enjoy the breakfast and dinner to the fullest and the service was wayyyyy to gooodddd! The staff were really nice and me, as a guest feeling homey here. It just makes me wanna stay here for weeks 🤪 Not forget to mention, the facilities. It's just perfect. Library, Gym and the forest pool. The forest pool really gave you the magnificent view like an infinity pool. Surely gonna back here!

Love this luxurious boutique hotel in the center of ubud. The rooms are spacious with comfortable bed. Breakfast was nice served on the rooftop. The pool have an amazing view, that doesn’t make you feel like you’re just a short walk from ubud center. Highly recommend.

‘UNDERSTATED LUXURY’ . We were fortunate to spend two nights and thus three invigorating days at Bisma Eight. The sophisticated and strikingly-contemporary Bisma Eight is designed as the ideal hideaway in Ubud, with the magical forest in mind and reflect the flavors you’ll find in the region, with an interesting spin. The canopy suite was well-appointed and luxurious, features large living space, which can be screened off from the sleeping area and the unique Japanese soaking tub in the bathroom. Contemporary, minimalist decor, mixing warm earth tones, notes of bright colour, and clean lines, striking angles and vistas. When you have had enough of an adventure for one day, lie back on the soft pillows and gaze out of the floor-to-ceiling window, it almost vied for your attention in staying inside!. The standout factor here is definitely the the sense of seclusion, and awe that you feel, pretty much all day long. Best of all, you can take in the exceptional views from the infinity pool overlooking the jungle. The food at Bisma Eight is delicious and service impeccable. The meals in Copper rooftop restaurant were good and the staff provided fantastic service. Bisma Eight is truly a special place. It really felt like home, it was a soulfeeding experience.

This hotel is unique and wonderful, designed with great aesthetic sense, and amazing attention to every last detail - all the little things most hotels don't spend much time on when designing them. I really love the wooden hot tub they've put in the room and very comfortable furniture. It's also centrally located within easy walking distance to the Monkey Forest, the village of Nyuh Kuning, and not too far from the main road of Ubud. It's a small, intimate boutique hotel, and if that's what you're looking for, give it a try.

I've stayed at Bisma close to 5 times already and i cannot see myself staying anywhere else in Ubud besides Bisma Eight. All around amazing staff, the food is delectable - their breakfast menu puts other 5 star hotels to shame. Rooms are always flawlessly clean and comfortable. Every detail in this establishment has been very well thought out. I take great comfort in knowing that no matter how difficult life gets, Bisma Eight is only a flight away

This is a special place and a place I will never forget. We were picked up at the airport by a friendly and knowledgeable driver who set a high standard from the very beginning. The reception staff were wonderful, they were on hand at any time (access via what’s app or in room phone) to answer any questions and nothing was too much trouble. In fact every member of staff at this gem of a hotel were kind and hospitable with the biggest smiles. The hotel itself is beautiful; we stayed in a forest suite and adored the design and location. The pool is gorgeous and a morning swim and evening sundowners became essential during our stay. The cocktails are amazing! The hotel feels very safe and the security let us park our hired motorcycle with no problem. Leon was our driver down to Seminyak and his knowledge and enthusiasm for the hotel and area was wonderful to be around. Breakfast offers a wide choice and was always delicious- a perfect way to start each day. We went to the spa at the villas and can honestly say it was one of the best massages that we have had. This was our first time to Bali and already we are planning our return trip to Bisma 8. A hidden gem, a clean, calm and tranquil feel with the most exceptional staff. Thank you for making Ubud the holiday we could only wish for.

Great hotel located just a short walk from the main town of Ubud. Staff are very helpful and the hotel evokes a nice sense that you are in the jungle with lots of greenery. Pool provides an ideal place to relax with great views across the valley. Food was excellent throughout our visit and I would recommend staying here if you visit Ubud.

We loved our stay at Bisma Eight! Stunning suites, surroundings and amazing jungle views. The staff is lovely and the quality of service is five stars no doubt. The location of the hotel is also very central. All around we don't have any weak spots for Bisma Eight - the hotel is definitely recommended!

The staff was so attentive, there were people waiting to help with my bags before I was out the car. The people at the front desk remembered my name the whole week after checking in. The breakfast was amazing, the room was absolutely stunning, the whole hotel was spotless, location is central, the view from the pool was breathtaking, and I could go on. I would definitely recommend this incredible hotel!

Bisma 8 guarantees you an opportunity to relax in peace. All spaces have been designed creatively and aesthetically. It is in a great location - walking distance to the night markets, quality spas and the monkey temple. Staff were friendly and helpful, the only thing that was a little disappointing was the food and drink.

  • 5/5 Roberto R. 1 year ago on Google
Our stay was amazing. We were upgraded upon arrival to the forest suite. The view was absolutely breathtaking. We also managed to take advantage of the yoga morning session which was also nice and relaxing. The breakfasts here were top notch. Definitely the best breakfast I’ve had in my entire Bali vacation. The pool was refreshing and had a gorgeous view as well especially during sunset. We also took advantage of the free photographer with the 2 free photos and opted to pay more for additional photos. Very satisfied with everything. I also lost my phone in a taxi and the staff here were more than willing to help me locate my lost phone. It was a miracle that we found it but man what an incredible staff they have here. If I’m ever in Ubud I’ll be staying here again!

Bisma Eight is an absolute dream! We stayed here for 4 days during our recent trip to Bali and can't recommend it enough. The hotel is an oasis from the busy city center, complete with beautiful room views, great service, and an incredible infinity pool. We loved eating breakfast at Copper every morning, and the one dinner we had there was fabulous as well (highly recommend the wagyu and mushroom risotto). A must if you're staying in Ubud!

What a wonderful Boutique Hotel. Located away from the busy streets but close enough to to walk to Ubud Palace, main road, monkey forest. We were picked up from the airport- clean car, great driver- water available in the car. The rooms are immaculate with everything you need. The bath tub is the highlight! The hotel it’s self is beautiful the pool and restaurant area are kept clean. The staff are amazing smiling and always eager to assist. The breakfast is a 100% thumbs up. Great choice of mains and drinks. The spa treatment was pure luxury ..available at their sister site minutes down the road. They offer free activities like yoga and cooking classes and also provide a voucher for a one hour free photoshoot on arrival! Will come back again for sure! Thank you Bisma eight team!!
