This place is like paradise. In the middle of rice fields, but only 10 minutes from central Ubud. The staff is absolutely amazing and made our stay wonderful. They drove us to town on scooters every time we asked no matter what time and they pick you up whenever you call them. Very good massages are available. The food in their own restaurant is delicious and you can enjoy afternoon tea on your porch. We will definitely stay again.

This review is meant with no disrespect to the staff members as they were extremely lovely and remorseful towards our situation. The hotel room is nothing like the pictures online; the pillows we had were extremely filthy and stained, the bedding was stained, the walls were damaged and there was a blood stain on the mesh canopy surrounding the bed. The only saving grace about this hotel is the staff members, they are super friendly and they were so apologetic when we told them how dirty our room was. Also, the hotel is surrounded by rice fields which is picturesque but that is about it.

We left the hotel after 30 mins and booked a new hotel. Views from the room were lovely but the room was filthy. Sheets and pillows extremely stained and dirty. Of course we knew being in a remote location near the rice fields there would be insects but we did not expect 2 lizards to be inside our room alongside ants crawling on the sheets. The shower and toilet are essentially outside with a cover to stop the rain getting to you which was not made clear from the photos. Staff were lovely bur overall, the hotel is run down, especially the pool area which looks nothing like the photos and the rooms were not clean.

Excellent. Close enough to ubud to walk, far enough away to feel relaxed. Nestled in rice fields accessed only by motorcycle or walking. A very clean, minimalist high quality place with beautiful viewers and helpful staff. Fully recommended.

Location is amazing and could be a very calm place. Unfortunately we had bad neighbors that very very loud. The place was clean, but not as clean as it could be. Service was friendly, but with typical communication barriers. The rooms have a major architectural mistake and amplify all noises from outside and neighborhood - literally could here every word and sound from the other room. If the sleeping room itself had a seiling, then I believe the issue would be sorted and I would grant 5*****

Perfect location in Ubud! We stayed at these beautiful villas for 3 glorious nights with our family (kids 9 and 5). We had the 2 bedroom Villa with our own pool. Loved every minute. Surprised by some of the scathing reviews to be honest. The Villa was clean and today mildly run down (very very mild) and the vista from our room was magic. There are roosters but this is a welcome experience in my view๐Ÿ˜ƒ! The Villa staff were very helpful arranging transport into town via scooter which the kids loved! This is a free service 24/7 for guests! The breakfast is lovely also but if you arenโ€™t keen on that a 2 mins scoot into main centre and you have a multitude of options! Very central location also so we were happy to be in the bustle one minute and serenity the next. Thank you to the wonderful team at Masia we will be back!!!! Hans and Lisa ๐Ÿ’•

The villa interiors, the surroundings, the field view and all are very good. Only issue is the connectivity to Ubud city center. Its very close to the city center but not walkable distance... You have to rely on the villa bikers every time you want to go out. Its a novel experience and kind of thrilling too but I had visited with my mom and granny who were not big fans of the bike ride... The car cannot pass through that small leading by lane... So you have no choice but to call the bikers. The villa is beautiful, staff members are very polite and courteous.. Overall, it was a good experience.

What an awesome little resort! We stayed at one of their sister resorts so only came over for the pool, but the atmosphere there is very tranquil and peaceful.

It's a well maintained villa and the owner is really friendly and welcoming. He provides motor ride to pick up us from the parking area (10 minutes walking) as well helping hands with luggages. The view of padi field, the sounds of nature and quietness are healing moments

If you are looking for a quite place with minimal stuff but still has a touch of luxury, this is a great place to be. It is so interior that cars can't get in, so no noise at all, very quite and serene. They provide pick up and drop on two wheelers to the main Ubud palace or market and their team is pro in hauling your big luggage too on a scooter (which given the condition and narrow roads, is very difficult to believe). There are only 10 villas with a picturesque view of rice fields right in front. The villas are great but they don't have no coffee machine, no hot water kettle for tea. There is only one restaurant at the property, mainly for breakfast. Breakfast is good, though very limited options for a pure vegetarian.

This place is a hidden gem. The atmosphere with the sound of roosters and nature, the beautiful lush rice fields, the friendly staff, and spacious rooms with outdoor showers/baths. We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived here and ended up staying longer than scheduled because we enjoyed the relaxing, peaceful environment and friendly staff. If we are ever in Ubud again I will most likely come here. Thanks for everything ๐Ÿ™

Incredible setting in the rice fields which is nicely removed from the bustling tourists in Ubud. Great deal, considering the service, setting and rooms. The very friendly hotel staff will send mopeds into town to grab you & your luggage, but I really loved the walks in the fields. It was beautiful to see it at different times of days and to get the flow of the local community. As a warning, it is loud with nature noises so takes a day or two to settle in. The rooms are in need of some cosmetic updates, but nothing that upset my stay in any way. I look forward to returning next time I am in Ubud!

Roosters are relentless from 5am to 5pm and thin walls aren't made for noise and privacy. You can hear your neighbors and farm animals throughout the day & night. Not ideal for quiet, relax or a good nights sleep, but a beautiful location in the rice fields.

Super friendly staff, nice FREE shuttle service with scooter. Great place, near the Ubud market. The rooms and the breakfast are nice as well and you can have it at your own terrace as well.

We had an amazing stay at Masia villa. The place is beautiful, in the middle of the rice fields, it feels like you are not in Ubud anymore. The place is only accessible by scooter, but you are 20 min from Ubud centre walking, and the walk is lovely, at night you can spot fireflies! If you don't want to walk the staff offer a drop off and pick up service for free, from 7am to 11pm. The staff is lovely, they do their best to help. We had a small issue with our room and it was fixed as soon as they were aware of it. Thanks a lot for offering such a good service in a such beautiful place. And yes, there is insects, but you are in the middle of the rice fields in a tropical place, you can expect it. I highly recommend this place

Beautiful place! Food was average, but we only had one meal. Friendly, helpful staff. Be prepared for drunken scooter rides home.

The actual property is a bit difficult to find from the main street and and it is not accessible by car. The only way to reach the property is by motor bike or walking. Once inside the lighting inside the villas could be better but apart from that the property is very nice. The staff is very accommodating and very nice.

The hotel Villa are ideally situated amidst the rice fields. Getting here is by motor bike but with it as it is so tranquil and picturesque. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Overall, a wonderful place to stay.
