I don't know where these good reviews come from, but don't believe them!! The bed was falling apart, the bathroom looked like a prison one and the Manager-Lady is the rudest person I met in all of Indonesia. At first the room looked nice, but sleep was almost impossible, because you could feel every spring of the matress, the sheets had also strains. If you wanted to turn arount the bed was really loud. The water in the shower is cold and the sink was rusty/dirty. the breakfast was kinda ok, the staff always tried its best though. The staff was overall very friendly and tried its best. But this one lady is just unbearable, simply rude and not welcoming. We had a misunderstanding, yes our fault but nothing life-threatening, and she just went berserk, even the staff tried to calm her. If something happens she will scream at you and if she gets what she wants, she will just leave you stranded without a word. Oh no before that, she will insult you and take pictures without consent. (even if you try to talk normally to her. Another uninvolved person also stated that her attitude was unacceptable). I feel sorry for the employees. You can also see and feel it in the passive aggressive answers here in the reviews. Do yourself a favor and book another better hotel, you definitely get for the same price. The Pool was nice.

We went to this hotel misguided by the last very good comments on Maps. The lady at the check in is very rude and grumpy. Barely spoke English. Gave 0 info on Wifi, breakfast or anything. The room looked fine at the beginning but when we looked more closely, sheets were really dirty and mattress full of bed bugs ... unfortunately I forgot to take pictures. We decided not to sleep here and went somewhere else. You can find decent hotel in the area at a fair price. Definitely avoid this one. The pool looked good, but not very clean as well. Location is very central however, but I wouldn’t take the risk of staying there.

Nice bungalow, location at the central of ubud, and the breakfast were delicious. Very nice place. The room was cleaned everyday and it had hot water. They also rent motorbikes. Breakfast is included. It is close to the Monkey Forest, so in the morning you can see a lot of monkeys jumping through the roofs.

Our experience in this hotel wasn't that good unfortunately, here is our honest detailed review from one night stay. If you won't stay a lot in the room and don't care much about the quality of the room and the service it can be an option. Pros: - Good emplacement in the center of Ubud, you can reach monkey Forest by walking few minutes. - Monkeys come to the hotel in the morning so you can enjoy observing them. -Clean bed. Cons: -Very old fourniture and room it smells humidity, and wasn't very clean especially the bathroom, we also found a bug in the room 😣 -it wasn't easy taking a shower since the water flow was faible. - The sink was clogged. - we didn't have lot of interaction with the staff, but the check-in wasn't that welcoming.

We've found ants in first room and very old and bad mattresses. After our claim hotel changed the room next day. But... there were rats :( We kindly asked for moneyback but they refused us. So we left this f*cking hotel without refund (we used only 2 nights from 7 prepaid).

It didn’t start well at all - wrong address given to me when I arrived the room didn’t look like value for the price. No soap in bathroom for washing hands. No water or anything for drinking. It looked like a room not often used even I though it was booked days before. Breakfast almost bot existing went out to eat instead. Location good if you want to visit monkey Forrest.

Location and pool are nice. The room looks cool and is clean too. But the most horrible part is that there is no hot showers. After complaining they told us to wait 15 / 30 minutes with the shower off and try again. We did so multiple times but the water stayed cold. Only on the second day we had a hot shower. The rest was either freezing or cold. 5 nights and only twice a hot shower :( The second annoying part was that we wanted twin rooms. They said it was impossible because all rooms were booked by a group. They did provide us with a small bed which was great but they didn’t had an extra blanket for it. Shampoo wasn’t refilled either; not all staff friendly or helpful. Please fix your showers.

Very cheap price compare to other… The breakfast was included but honestly it wasn’t that good… it started at 8 am but half of it wasn’t ready, we had to wait 45 minutes for the eggs… 45 minutes everyday ! We were in ubud for few days and we couldn’t wait that long, the breakfast should be ready at 8 am. Nice pool, as it’s near the monkey forest u will have a show if your are lucky many monkeys 🙉 come around 😙 Wasn’t a bad experience honestly but there is some things u can improve. The room was clean and the staff was very nice and helpful that’s why I put 4 ⭐️

Looking at the recent reviews it looks like a lot of them were bought (all reviewers with local names and only 1 or 2 reviews on their name). Tbh this hotel has a lot of potential but it's not used. The room was quite big but very noisy, there were stains on the sheets, a disconnected mini fridge on one of the bedside tables and no warm water. Construction work started at 8am (with ppl talking very loud). The breakfast is very sad, with small portions and nothing cold to drink (only warm water for tea or powdered coffee). The swimming pool was nice and clean, although the sun seat covers were very dirty. The air-conditioning was very silent which was nice (as the ceiling fan was so wobbly we didn't really dare to turn it on).

Be realistic, this isn't the Hilton or the Four Seasons, and with its lower prices, you shouldn't expect it to be. The pool is great, we got free breakfast and the rooms are fairly big with an ensuite. The staff helped us out whenever we asked, so overall, it's decent for the prices in Ubud. However, it is far from perfect, so here are the cons you should keep in mind... We were there for 7 nights, and the bathroom doesn't have enough ventilation and doesn't drain water properly. It gets real gross and smelly after a day because all the water just sits on the floor. The windows can't be opened to ventilate because monkeys tried to get inside. We were kept up past midnight a few nights because a large family with loud kids were in the pool until midnight, and no one restricted noise. Not that this hotel can likley do much about it, but there was another night when construction was also being done until midnight. Breakfasts are small, and the free fruit is pretty rank. But it's free, and if you want another portion, it's 20.000, which is cheaper than any place in the middle of Ubud. Plus, the eggs, while a small portion, were tasty. The curtains are thin and see at through at night. It makes showering at night weird because you're not sure if anyone can see you. Rooms are weirdly furnished and old, the lights are in weird hard to reach places, and the cieling fan is very loose and scary. So it's a 4 star review because we were happy enough with what we got, at the price we got. If you want a fancy boutique place, this isn't what you are looking for and will likely need to pay double somewhere else.p

Terrible and very not friendly stuff. If you don’t want to have bad expression from Ubud, never stay here

Great location. Right on the main road in Ubud, very central. Room was spacious and clean. Pool was clean and a good size (approx. 10m). Breakfast was good. Banana pancakes and fruit on the menu! Unfortunately there are two points that I mark this place down on; paper thin walls and neighbouring rooster. The walls in this place are so think that I could hear every word spoken in the room next to me. Not ideal, especially in the mornings and late at night. The other major downer is the rooster that wakes you up at 5am and doesn't let you go back to sleep. Quite literally having the worst night's sleep at this place. Also worth mentioning that there are quite a lot of monkeys in the vicinity, what with it being so close to the monkey forest. They don't bother me so much as they normally don't come close but they do make a racket in the morning when they jump from balcony to balcony.

Pros: there’s one part of the hotel that is dark enough to see the night stars in ubud, saw some shooting stars and fireflies during nyepi. Cons: got bed bugs and itches so badly, owner did not want to be responsible fully, so she did compensate me with food, which wasn’t enough to cover my medical bills. She was rude to wanting to chase me off during nyepi bc I was complaining that the water in the toilet was broken and their beds gave me bed bugs.

A great inn at the center of Ubud -- the location is just perfect, smack in the middle of Monkey Forest Rd. The rooms are comfortable, the breakfast yummy, and the owners friendly. Value for money -- highly recommended for those looking for a base for exploring downtown Ubud.

Location is very close to touristy areas such as the Monkey Forest, and Ubud Market. Rooms are well maintained, nice pool. Good service. Will definitely come back

Great location and hotel. You get what you pay for. The most expensive rooms are amazing. Definitely not safe for kids. Lack of railing in some high drop areas. Monkeys roam around during the day. You'd have to keep a good eye on your kid. Nice pool. Staff are friendly. Cons: terrible breakfast. You get some stale pieces of bread and maybe an old muffin or piece of fruit. All the fruit I took wS was moudly. Wifi is okay, it cuts out frequently. Very thin walls. You can hear everything outside. Other than that, it's very spacious and worth the $40 a night.

This place is in Central Ubud right next to the monkey forest and perfect if you want to be in the centre of the action. If you are not fussed about occasional confrontation with a monkey you are in the right place! 😉 Just don't leave any valuables on show. The hotel boasts two lovely pools and is a short walk away from tonnes of restaurants and bars.

Nice place, good swimming pool and location in Ubud. We booked 3 days initially but extended a few days more. Friendly staff allthough the owner/manager was really rude: Generally they clean the rooms everyday. We hadn't recieved cleaning for 2 days, which we don't care about usually, we are not picky at all with that. But since the trash bin wasn't collected the room started to get a lot of ants, big ones - we told the owner and just asked him nicely if we could get someone to take the trash out. He then started to give us a lession about how "my staff cleans the rooms everyday!! Why do you say this? You are so rude". Probably just miscommunication, but his reaction was just so rude I didn't even care to ask him to follow up to the room to see that it in fact hadn't been cleaned at all and the trash was full. Would get a higher rating but the manager really made us uncomfortable unfortunaly.

Excellent location. Decent rooms with a/c, fridge and tv - not many English channels. Good pool. Breakfast not too good but many decent options nearby and as the hotel price is low it’s acceptable

Very small room with the hardest and most uncomfortable bed. The bedsheets only covered half the bed. The ceiling fan was broken and we were afraid it might fall down on us. We also saw a cockroach in the room.

I highly recommend the deluxe double room at this place! For 20usd/night you get a bright spacious clean room with tall ceiling. We stayed in Room Tunjung and extended our stay for ten days! We had hot showers, water pressure was fine. This is our home in Ubud - especially because the owner, reception, breakfast lady and housekeeping guys as a team is the most genuine and helpful people 😀❤️When we checked out it was pouring rain and they offered to motorbike us and the bags to the driver who was stuck in traffic. This was the same team we met a few years ago, they are like a family. Location-wise it’s a few minutes walk to Monkey Forest and the monkeys actually come visit us! That we didn’t have to go to the sanctuary to see them - felt especially authentic and fun to see them on our balcony (of course we kept our belongings safe and did not feed them). Also lots of shops and cafes around, 2 min walk from minimart, 5 min walk from Bakti Laundry! I’d just say that if you want an authentic, safe, local bungalow experience, stay here! For the same price you get a much smaller room on the same street, we checked them out. Yes, there are insects sometimes but in a way that’s common for Ubud. Also, for digital nomads, expect to use your own data for meetings cos that’s more reliable in this general area. Near Monkey Forest (next to Meguna restaurant), you will find a small booth that sells 40gb for only 100,000 rupiah. Again this place makes us feel focused and peaceful everytime. Consider booking the bigger room because it’s so worth it. Hard to say goodbye to Ubud because of this fam!

Kind of run down and neglected but the delux room was actually large and comfortable with a nice balcony. The bed was very comfortable too. Because of the lack of maintenance, the plumbing in the bathroom didn't work well and the water trickled out of the taps and the sink was very slow to drain. Close to the monkey forest which may be a positive or negative depending on your affection for macaques.

Overpriced for what it was, 450k for an aircon room, bed was nice but had a very outdated bathroom and had no view. Some of the rooms had a beautiful view of the pool but not mine. Tv was old small square one. Pool was really nice however, but for the price could have done better

I stayed for a few nights and very much impressed. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Property has two pools. Room I was staying was superior a/c room, it was nice and tidy also breakfast was delicious. This place is in a centre of Ubud, just 2 mins walk to Monkey sanctuary. Highly recommended 👍

We spent amazing time in Pande Permai Bungalow. The staff is really nice and helpful there. The hotel is well-designed with Balinese style. There were big swimming pool and sunbeds. The room was clean and comfortable near swimming area. The location is next to Monkey Forest, nearly to the center of Ubud, maybe 10 minutes on foot to the Ubud Palace. The only thing that I didn’t really enjoy was breakfast - it was okay but nothing fantastic-you could choose from mie goreng or toasts with jam. I really recommend this beautiful bungalows for everyone!
