I never left a negative comment before but I would not recommend this hostel at all. Pro, located at city center & convenient to go around; nice pancake breakfast but small; comfy bed; cheap price. Neutral, inside a Balinese family house but so are many other hostels, in fact two other hostels are within this family complex. CON, no atmosphere; no blanket for bed; 2/4 guests got bed bugs; rude staff, particularly the one I dealt with. Never smile, almost was shouting when he introduced the room to me, tried to scam me on scooter rental (80k IDR/day), literally pointed at his watch and repeated said "check out now" right at the clock when I already packed and cleared the bed, was just giving farewell to fellow guests in the room. I am still puzzled, I already paid, already cleared off the bed, was he just try to get me out of the room? I think other staffs are more decent but this staff seems to be present the most during my 3 days stay, I would had left on day 1 if I hadn't already paid in full.

This place is a great hostel! It's really cheap and right in the central of Ubud. Very clean and it has hot water and air conditioning! It has safety boxes for each guest (big enough for my suitcase!), and there's this sitting area in the room, with books and pillows. Lots of visitors from lots of different countries, met some awesome people in that hostel! Great way to meet new people! Next time I'm going to Ubud, I'm definitely going to stay there again. And the owner is very nice! Breakfast is good for a very cheap hostel!

Really nice hostel. Got the 10 beds dorms which was almost empty so it was very comfortable. Staff is helpful. You can have a pancake/omelette and tea/coffee for breakfast at the cafe upstairs. The beds are very comfortable and has amazing curtains so you feel isolated from others is the room and can get full darkness if you wish. Has a shelf and a lamp by the bed.

Best value for the price! The bed is comfortable and has covers for some privacy. There is just one shower and toilet, but I never had to wait. The breakfast wasn't much, but they searved me the best greppe since long! What I didn't like is the AC, I would have preferred a window to let in some oxygen, but that's me.

pros: awesome and incredibly confortable mattresses, very nice bed-boxes with curtains, boxes with lock, very clean, nice owner, good breakfast (good size and good tasting pancake), very central. cons: hostel layout (big dorm with no real common area) makes the hostel not a good place to socialize/meet people, big dorm means higher chances to be awaken in your sleep by other roommates, amenities not really good (small toilets with shower inside)

For a hostel, has all the bells and whistles. I’m Here on off season so sharing a 12 beg dorm with one other guy for 60k. Wifi good, ac and fan in rooms. Plugs and lights in each bed with locker and space in bed for your bag. Shower and bathroom in the dorms. Tours can be booked with them. And breakfast is in a sick rooftop bar. Solid hostel with everything you need ! And location is 2min walk to Ubud market and restaurants everywhere.

One of the best hostels available in Ubud. The owner was very friendly and helpful to guide me through the central of Ubud. The place was wonderful with lounge room, big storage space, decent enough for a carrier, free mineral water on the gallon, refrigerator to share, and the bathroom was clean with hot shower. They always do the maintenance every 11 am by cleaning the bed, sweeping and mopping the floor. The free breakfast provided here are fulfilling enough to help you go through the day. I really recommend this place if you're into exploring the central Ubud with motorcycle or bicycle because the location is on the heart of Ubud. Even though it seemed crowded, the no-sound policy after 11 pm is strict to ensure to comfort of the people here. I'll definitely stay here again if I happen to go to Ubud.

I stayed at the Dewa Hostel for a few nights and it was very nice. Far enough away from the bars that you can sleep but still centrally located. Breakfast (pancake and tea or coffee) is included and the rooms were very very clean. I would absolutely stay here again if I went back through Ubud.

Many homestays was fully booked, and it was my lucky day that there were few available beds yesterday, it really saved my life. That was the first time I stayed at hostel, and it was good experience, the room & shower room are clean, safe place, nobody make noise after 11 pm, and they provide free breakfast too (yummy ones). Recommended.

I booked the best room of this hotel, a rooftop penthouse, whole floor to self with great sunset views. However the traffic from the noise was unbearable, it was like the vehicles were zooming past you the whole night and morning. I did not sleep. I have never moved out prematurely from a hotel before so this was my first time doing so. I left immediately after the first night, and they were gracious about it. The booking staff Laksamana had been kind to keep the room for me for 4 nights, unfortunately I really needed a good night's sleep to participate in the Ubud Writers Festival 2023 so I had no choice but to find sleep elsewhere. The room was really good, but the traffic is not something they could do much about, not even insulation even if they had tried. I hope it will reach its potential one day, because the rooftop penthouse was super awesome!

Medium hostel, the owner of the hostel looks like angry but he isnt. Only one bathroom for 12 beds. The owner is helpful with the tours. The hostel is near by stores, restaurants and markets. But one thing i didnt like he didnt give me back the money of the key bail.

Loved this stay. The location is very central to everything, lots to eat and do nearby. The bed was comfy and the room was clean. Wifi worked well in the rooms. We were not bothered by traffic noise during our stay. If you are a light sleeper then maybe foam earplugs would be best since it is on a main road. Worth it for the cost and location. I recommend getting a massage from the ladies below while you stay.

πŸ‘ The place was very nice, good pool, friendly staff, decent breakfast included. It lost one star because there were screaming/crying children ALL day during out few nights here (I believe it was the staffs children). Other than that excellent.

πŸ‘πŸ‘ Really good hostel to stay in! The rooms and bathrooms are well maintained and clean. You meet a lot of other solo travelers there and it’s very social. The common area is also really nice as the view is just greenery and there is a constant sound of water rushing. The breakfast isn’t anything fancy...
