We stayed for 3 days. The family staff were nothing but helpful, inviting and friendly. They made us feel welcome and honestly we didn’t want to leave. The room was situated close to one of the main roads, with a lot of great restaurants and shops. But it is far enough from the main road to feel like you are isolated in a beautiful rice field. The view of the rice fields from the room was amazing. The owner let us help plant rice (was a good experience to understand where it comes from) and this was very funny. For me and for them. If I am ever to find myself coming back to Ubud, I will definitely stay here again.

Spent three great weeks here. The hosts are friendly, informative and accommodating. The Nirwa is out in the rice fields, yet very close to the attractions of Ubud. They offer comprehensive and reasonably Priced tours. The breakfast options are varied, well prepared, and delicious. Great local organic coffee! Laundry service is available. Truly a home away from home.

We love this place! We originally only wanted to stay there for a couple of days, and ended staying for 6 days in total. The owners are a dream to stay with. They're so helpful and nice. The green pancakes in the morning are a must have. The place is super quiet and you're greeted in the morning with the sound of birds chirping, and the quiet gurgle of the water fountain. They also own another location five minutes away that has a pool that you can use anytime. We'd go back in a heart beat.

Great rooms. Hosts are a very friendly couple. I booked a tour with the host and had one of the best days in Ubud during my stay in Bali. Will come back one day.

We had a very goodl stay in Nirwa Ubud Homestay. The place is in the middle of the rice fields but at the same time very close from Ubud city center. And it's so quiet. The view from the room is gorgeous. And last but not least, Gusti has been a wonderful host, very welcoming and attentive. I would definitely recommend this guesthouse to friends who come to Ubud

I stayed at Nirwa Homestay for 4 weeks during my Yoga Teacher training and I really enjoyed the time! The owners are really kind and they will make you feel like home! Made is making amazing breakfast! Only one thing (for me it's pretty important though) the rooms are smelly because they have a lot of humidity and so it gets moldy easily! After 4 weeks staying there my backpack was full of mold and even some stuff I was storing in the closet had mold aswell! I am allergic to this fungus and so the situation was really bad for me because I had to wash everything i have and it took me 3 days and a lot of energy to get everything clean again. Sadly they didn't show a lot of empathy and instead got upset and personally offended so in the end things got a little bad and they accused me of being dramatic and even kicked me out! Mold is a big problem in general in Bali and they can't really avoid getting it but also they don't do anything against it and they weren't friendly at all when I was explaining the situation. But I still keep thinking positive about the place and the time I had there and if you don't care about the mold it's a lovely place to stay!

We had the room with the balcony and view. Amazing place with view over rice paddies. Big room with AC and a lot of space and nice terrace. To get there you need to walk 500 meters and carry your stuff as cars cannot get there and bikes hardly. The owner has got another guesthouse with pool and offered us to use the pool too. Breakfast was pancake with fruit. WiFi in the room worked fairly well. Price was affordable too. Would go back. Loved the serenity there.

I stayed here with my sister and had a wonderful time! The host very graciously made breakfast for us for our trip up mount batur when we asked last minute, and it was delicious! They were very considerate and the rooms were really nice :))

So peaceful, set amongst rice terraces away from the main hustle and bustle from Ubud. The facilities and grounds are lovely. Made & Ayu are the best hosts and I’m sure we’ll be back in the future. Ps. The Green Pancakes are the best 💚

Very kind hosts, amazing breakfast and newly renovated rooms. Perfect location, very close to heart of Ubud, but still far enough to enjoy peace next to the rice fields. Just a remark - cars cannot get all the way here, you'll have to walk few mins with your luggage, so you better pack light 😅.

We really loved the homestay experience. The host are really lovely...So caring & fun! During the stay we had a chance to know the culture and hear some beautiful stories. As goes for the place, It's a traditional house near the rice fields (easier to reach on bike or on foot). The view from our room (1st floor) was great and we could see the sunrise everyday from our room. The amenities in our room included Wifi, A/C & fridge. The host made services like Laundry really convenient during our stay as well as ensured room cleaning every day (Thank you!). Breakfast was also included in the services if you prefer (however we mostly ventured out for coffee). We were here for Nyepi and the host were very kind to provide their traditional dinner when everything was closed.(Thank you!!)

I am extremely happy that I chose Nirwa Ubdu Homestay for our vacation in Bali. The location is serene in the middle of rice fields, the hosts are the most lovely people you can meet. The room is big and clean and they help with laundry, breakfast, airport transfer and everything else. We loved the sound of birds and nature during early morning and night time. I'd highly recommend their place for an authentic Balinese experience and I am sure you won't regret it.

A charasmatic and beautifully gracious family. It was a privilege to share your home. Thank you for the delicious breakfast that kept us energised and nourished. It was so nice to come home to a spotless room everyday. Will come back and visit again.

The owners are very kind and helpful. I used their laundry services during my stay and they get it back to you, folded nicely, in 2 days. I left Ubud to go trekking in Lombok and they let me leave my luggage there until I returned! Very accommodating and waterfall shower head.

I was blessed with kind and generous hosts during an unexpected illness. I was really upset to get ill and miss my yoga training so I spent most of my stay resting and recovering, but the hosts were amazingly generous and sweet - bringing bowls of rice and fruit & ginger tea daily, which was not expected but helped me to recover and also helped me to feel less alone. The cleaning staff were also very kind and helpful. The room was lovely and spacious and clean, had a sweet terrace to sit and enjoy the beautiful lush green surrounds. The area was peaceful amidst the rice fields, but very near central Ubud. The laundry service was also much appreciated. Thank you so much lovely Nirwa Homestay!

Love love love the place. Lovely family. Madne and His wife and son take care of even the little things. Not at all a burden on your pockets. Also you can plan your short trips from there itself with the owners to help you out as well as suggest the right prices.

We made friend with the owner that gave us very good advice. The place looks like a small temple and the back door leads to a great walk surrounded by the rice fields. The room were cleans and very spacious.

Very nice stay in this place! A real Ubud vibe here with a very pretty garden and right near stunning rice fields. The room was clean and the shower big. Breakfast good with quite some choice! Staff very nice too. Accomodation close to city center.

👍👍 Very relaxing place, where you are hosted by a family. Very accommodating people. The guest house is located in a side street amid a local village/small suburb of Ubud - this means you are right next to Ubud, but in a quiet environment (approx 100 m away from the main road into Ubud, in the middle o...

🫤 The room was very moldy. I got sick for a week after sleeping in there for 2 nights. But the owner was very friendly and put me into a much nicer room for the rest of my stay. It is a big plus to have a pool and a kitchen for that price. However the kitchen is pretty gross and very poorly equipped....
