Beautiful villa with clean facilities. Staff very helpful. We stayed here with 2 children, one was disabled so it was a little difficult to her her to the villa as many steps however staff were always around to assist. The free shuttle around ubud was very convenient and Wifi fast. There was rain every night yet not too many mosquitos. The hotel staff provided many options to keep the mosquitos away.

I stayed with my partner in a junior suite for three weeks and it was superb. The hotel was well presented and maintained, had a good set of amenities, and had a very relaxed and luxurious atmosphere. There is a main pool for use by all guests, and our cluster of four villas had their own private pool as well. The place as a lot of pools! Breakfast was included in the room cost and was excellent. Lots of variety and plenty of gluten free options for my partner too. Lunch and dinner had plenty of options too and if you don't want to go to the restaurant then they'll bring it to you in your room, at the pool, or wherever you are in the hotel basically. If you don't want to eat there then there are a large number of restaurants all around the hotel and they're all good. The standout feature at this hotel is definitely the staff. All of them - the reception/concierge, restaurant, house keeping, and grounds keeping staff - were very friendly and helpful. Their relaxed manner goes with their very high level of professionalism. When you walk up to the reception to order a drink by the pool and a guy you haven't met yet greets you by name, knows what room number to charge the order to, and gives you an update on the excursion you've got booked tomorrow, you can see how much effort they must put in to make sure they're looking after their guests well. The only criticism I'd have is that the junior suites (and I assume most of the other room types) didn't really have any noise insulation. We were near the front of the property and so a bit closer to the road. We didn't hear any noise from the road but we could here music from the pubs some nights. It wasn't overly loud and didn't go all night so wasn't much of an issue. But if there are people playing loudly in a pool or taking phone calls on their balcony or otherwise being loud the rooms won't keep any of that noise out. It's probably a property of that style of accommodation and it didn't detract much from our stay, but it's something to be aware of if you're noise sensitive. Overall we had a great time and we'd happily stay here again.

It was an amazing hotel ever! Incredible hospitality and nice scenery in the middle of nature. My room was kind of far from the reception but I enjoyed walking to my room a lot!! Because the river is in the middle of hotel site and I could enjoy fresh air and good feeling near to lots of trees. You can feel good energe from the nature. Very Unique hotel. I want to visit again with my family *Stayed 2 nights in Feb 2020.

This is so far the best hotel I've ever been! We went to one of their villas and it was an absolutely dream, everything was prepared in detail, clean and ready for each occasion. The food in the breakfast was also very nice and it was very variated, wit healthy food to choose too. I recommend it a lot, I hope we can come back soon!

Away from the noise and busy streets of Ubud but steps away from the action. This is a quiet oasis. My room was one of a group of 4 with a shared pool off from the main hotel area. So it was very private and had a feel of luxury. A great comfy bed, well appointed bathroom and a private patio area. The staff were very friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was included and I enjoyed great coffee with my omelette both days I stayed. If you want to enjoy Ubud, be in the centre but have some quiet….this is the place.

We stayed at KajaNe Mua for two days. The location is good and the service is super great. All the staffs are friendly and kind. We feel like home. The location is also convenient. When we go outside nearby. The hotel will drop us to the place. Thank you so much for making us a wonderful trip.

We had a wonderful time at KajaNe Mua in Ubud, Bali and would recommend to others thinking of staying in Ubud. We were glad to receive a welcome drink after our long day of travel. The staff's warm hospitality, with personalized greetings and a willingness to assist, made us feel truly welcome and taken care of. The location is convenient along a main road, close to shops and restaurants. If available, you can also make use of their free shuttle service to nearby areas such as restaurants. The breakfast selection was excellent, and we were always welcomed by the friendly staff. The complimentary afternoon tea and daily bottled water was also a nice touch. Our deluxe room was spacious and kept well-cleaned. Highly recommended!!

Wonderful place. We were on the fourth floor of the main building, huge room and bed, amazing service with afternoon tea every day. Shuttle if you need it. Shared pool area mostly very quiet. A little cold but still nice. Great breakfast buffet with rotating options. Some noise from nearby bars at night so maybe come with earplugs if staying in one of the hotel rooms. Wasn't too bad though.

A most enjoyable 11-night stay May/June 2023. Attentive and friendly staff, professional management and a beautiful and central location. Stayed in a comfortable and well-appointed Mansion deluxe spacious room on 4th floor with lift to reach it. Generous and varied breakfast buffet with Balinese inclusions. Complimentary afternoon tea with Balinese treats offered each day. Free shuttle on demand if free within Ubud area. Perfect really! Been several times before and will return.

i stayed at this lovely hotel with my wife during our trip to Ubud. The hotel is spacious with garden and there is a stream at the back of hotel. The room is super clean. Hotel staff is very polite and caring, talking with them is like talking to family members. I stay at a private villa with private pool to celebrate my wife birthdays, thanks to the surprise celebration from the staff, we never expected it! location wise the hotel is located in the heart of Ubud, you can access to restaurant and retail shop easily The furniture in our villa is a bit run down, and the privacy of the villa can be improved by planting more tree around it. We can see a villa opposite us and what people is doing at there A lot of mosquito in the evening, but mosquito repellent is provided and distributed every evening

We love coming here to stay. Not over the top luxury accommodation but perfect for a relaxing visit. Located half way up Monkey Forrest Road, it's a relatively busy part of town with plenty to do nearby.

Very nice and prompt service. They will make sure to make you stay as comfortable as possible and the reception tries to deliver on alot of your requests. I loved the breakfast spread and the coffee was heavenly. The pool and private villas with pools looked very luxurious. Special mention, they have a shuttle drop off and pickup service free of cost. They also serve high tea (and coffee) with little snack..also..free of cost.

We stayed in the junior 1 bedroom garden view suite (upper floor which shares a private pool with the lower floor). The hotel staff were all very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, with a large wrap around balcony and the semi-private pool was nice. Location is great, right in the heart of ubud and walking distance to lots of restaurants, shops, the monkey forest, etc. The hotel offers free shuttle service around central ubud. Stay comes with free breakfast and afternoon coffee/tea. Room for improvement: water took a few minutes to heat up, water pressure was a little weak, one of our pillows was hard and lumpy.

Had a short lovely family vacation in Bali Ubud, we stayed at the exquisite One Bedroom Pool Villa which comes with a private pool and set against a tranquil and lush greenery backdrop. KajaNe is conveniently situated near the famous monkey forest with easy access on foot to eateries, bars and the Art Market. Hop onto the free hotel shuttle if you need to venture further. The complimentary breakfast offers a good spread across Asian and Western fares. But the cherry on the icing has got to be the exceptionally good customer service rendered by the hotel staff, particularly Karta who was always willing to go the extra mile to ensure our time in KajaNe was comfortable and memorable. Kudos to Karta and his team of dedicated service staff who are genuinely friendly and helpful who are always with a warm and friendly smile.

This hotel is gorgeous! I am so impressed and loved out stay here! The hotel is beautiful on the outside, the pool is so peaceful and the rooms are immaculate! The service has also been amazing and the staff have been so helpful and accommodating I cannot have asked for more! They helped us organize a cooking class and they also packed us a breakfast for our early morning Mt. Batur sunrise trek! Love this place and cannot recommend it more!

just 1 min to the main street with lots of shops and eateries and a 24hr mini mart right across. the location can't be any better than this. breakfast has alot of varieties but can improve on quality. service is awesome with shutter service to and fro for nearby areas.

Really quite nice room with an excellent calm atmosphere. The room is a little bit clairaudient, but it is ok. The room service and the information works very well. KajaNe offers a own free Ubud city shuttle. This makes the stay in Ubud quite easy. The area is very large and offers areas to calm down.

Great breakfast, kid friendly. The private shared pool at our villa was good. Air Con was quiet and beds were amazingly comfortable. Beautiful surroundings, immaculately clean. Keep an eye out for the squirrels. Will be back again.

Beautiful hotel in the Centre of Ubud with lush tropical feel, great service and very comfy rooms…… We are just finishing up our 3 night stay at KajaNe, on arrival we were given an upgrade to the next room up, called a ‘Suite Room’ checkin was very efficient, showed us around the resort as we headed to our room. Our room was located towards the back of the resort which is in located between Jalan Monkey Forest and Jalan Bisma, this part of the resort is quite magical. There’s a beautiful tropical feel and it’s really hard to imagine that you’re in the Centre of Ubud city. Birds and squirrels dancing and singing in the trees, little lizards, geckos and butterfly’s joining in. You could sit on the verandah for hours just listening and watching the day unfold. Our room was located in a closed off section where 2 rooms shared a garden area and a beautiful pool with sun lounges. The rooms have a few outdoor areas to relax in with a small kitchen and a large fridge, lounge and small dining table. Bed and bedding are really comfy. Bathroom was well equipped with a very large bath and a seperate shower. All the staff here are all friendly and attentive, it’s a really nice resort in the centre of Ubud and we can’t believe we have never come across this resort in previous adventures to Ubud. Breakfast had plenty of options, even someone wanting to eat Vegan could find a decent breakfast with overnight oats, chia bowl and fruits. Right outside the resort you can find so many shops, restaurants, bars and basically anything you’d need within a very short walk. Even a cooking class right next door at Cafe Wayan… yes! We did this too and it was awesome!! Our favourites…. Cafe Wayan Pissari Bali Cafe Both having amazing Balinese Nasi Campur and yes… these can be ordered Vegan as well. For the guys… mini mart across the road to stock up on cheap cold beer 😆🤣🤭 Overall… we’ve had a REALLY nice stay here, anyone complaining about this place has some seriously high standards. Location is perfect i can go anywhere from this hotel , SERVICE was insane. They do pick up and drop off service for hotel customer. And also i a bit worried about laundry cuz i didn’t have a choice but my laundry was perfectly clean very satisfied🤓 I would like to book again !! 10 out of 10 place

This place is amazing!! Going to Bali for the first time and not knowing anything, was bit nerve wrecking. However, soon as we stepped foot into this property, everyone was so happy and accommodating! Front Desk, Housekeeping, Laundry, and all other staff members always had a smile on their face and you truly got the Bali experience here! They have a shuttle that goes around central Ubud area, which was awesome on the raining days! But best of all, you could walk around to shops, food, and attractions! We stayed in a 1 bedroom villa with private pool, and it was amazing, quiet, and super private / safe. I read comments about it being noisy since your in the heart of Ubud and I’m sure it’s based on room location. But our room was further back and we didn’t hear anything, very peaceful! Definitely recommend and will be back during our next trip to Ubud!!

Spent four nights here. Easy Access to everywhere near Ubud. And i will say this hotel gives the best hospitality and they always ready to assist in anyway. Love the place. Worth the price and i hope they will improve more in the future.

My partner and I absolutely LOVED this place! The staff were so lovely and accomodating, we had to checkout very early and they provided a boxed breakfast for us to take on our journey. The room was absolutely beautiful, and very clean, the pool was beautiful and the surrounding area was very comfortable to relax in, not the mention the food was also really yummy, breakfast and afternoon tea were included and always really good! Overall we would highly recommend this accomodation, and hope that we can come back. Forgot to mention that if you’re keen to explore Ubud, the location is right in the centre of heaps of great restaurants and bars, and also very close to the monkey forest.

I had a brilliant time staying at the Kajane. Location is fantastic and the grounds are well kept and beautiful! I have a gluten intolerance and the hotel went out of their way to accommodate for me! Breakfast and afternoon tea are included and every afternoon they came up with a different gluten free cake/treat for me!! Breakfast also had lots of gluten free options! Highly recommend

Pros: fantastic service and amazing staff Cons: restaurant was not functional, Wi-Fi was patchy, hotel feels a little dated…. Showers not good…. Acs don’t cool well…. Booking.com calls it a 5 star but definitely no more than a 4 start as it’s a small boutique property with very few facilities. If you want a view of mountains and rice fields this is not the place for you!!

Incredible place to stay in the heart of Ubud, Bali! Booked two nights in the Villa with a private pool which was just incredible, decided to extend our stay! Staff here made it feel like your home. Felt so welcomed staying here having all staff from hotel saying hello every time they pass! Breakfast was great and very fresh. No limit to what’s we ordered, but definitely recommend their fresh orange juice!!! Big thank you to the amazing Dedik for his incredible hospitality and helpfulness. Arranging everything that we wanted to do and always wearing a smile! KajaNe also had their own small shuttle to take you places such as Monkey Forest and the Spa resort they organised for us. As a 4-star hotel in Ubud, the amenities and service are above average. The crew are friendly, helpful and polite. Rooms are quite spacious. I stayed 3 nights in a 3rd floor room with a king size bed, spacious toilet with bath and shower, and a balcony area. The aircon was working well and easily cools the whole room. The cable channel programming is quite limited though. At the second floor there is a restaurant open most of the day. They serve local, asian and western food. There is a pool area and a library, and other various areas for personal work or relaxation. The hotel is around 10-15 minutes walk away from the Ubud center, as well as to the Monkey Forest. There are a lot of local and western food options. One can also find cultural shows around. Massages are a must-try, especially a full-body Balinese massage. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Real fantastic stay here in Kajane; people are fantastic and let you feel like home. Place is amazing (we got villa with swimming pool) and food is unique! We loved this place so much that we came back to enjoy this experience. If we’ll come back to Bali, we would select for sure to stay here. Last but not least the position is very strategic since you’re in the center of Ubud and can reach almost everything just waking, and, if you need to go somewhere in Ubud there is a free transportation! Simply amazing! Thank you to all the personnel, excluding no one: you are amazing!

Location is absolutely in the centre of Ubud! As the traffic is quite heavy in the centre, using a taxi is not feasible as it would be quicker to walk so the location is an absolute delight. It was our anniversary and they gave us a complimentary upgrade which was absolutely stunning. Our private villa had stunning views. Don't get it twisted, although it's in the centre, you don't hear the noise from the street at all. Once you leave the lobby and head to the grounds, you are in a serene paradise that feels so remote in a rainforest. We had a villa with a private pool and it was heaven. It's the best of both worlds! The staff, especially Karta, are absolutely delightful and cater to your every need. Enjoyed the complimentary breakfast and afternoon tea. When I come back to Ubud, I will definitely stay here again!

We stayed for 10 days in a deluxe pool view room. Amazing hotel, super clean! Beautiful there is a jungle in the hotel. The best and nicest staff Amazing service There are free shuttles in the city. We had health issues and they were so carrying and helpful and got us a good doctor. We will definitely come back!

Spotlessly clean and great service. 24 hour security and secure bike parking. We always choose this hotel whenever we visit ubud. Has spacious rooms and some beautiful private villas. Beds are so comfy. The landscaped gardens are so nice too, and the path leads to a creek running through it. The resort is just a few steps from restaurants, spas and shopping. Hotel has its own free shuttle available on call so no need for taxis if needing to travel local. The staff are top notch and always happy to help. Had a few meals at their restaurant and they were delicious and great value. Can not fault this place. Overall kajane mua offers excellent value and everything needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

My 3D/2N quarantining was spent at KaJaNe’s, MUA and I’m SO thankful I decided to have my stay at this incredible resort!! I would recommend this resort to EVERYONE due to the extremely kind, generous & wonderfully helpful staff. I especially want to thank Urip, Dedik & Dwi Yuniati. Thank you all at MUA, I’m sincerely thankful my first impression of Bali felt completely very safe, comfortable, & peaceful. The food was healthy, clean, full of flavors & variety so while I was anxious about quarantine it turned out to be a wonderfully relaxing stay. I would return & recommend this resort to any & all. 10/10 stars!

We stay at Tirta Room, Two storey Villa - Service : 9/10 super friendly staff - location 9/10 at the heart of monkey forest busy street, so many store and resto walking distance - Food, not try - facility : 7/10 Private pool, fresh water. Unfortunately the TV channel are local conventional, no cable and bad signal Cleanliness: 8/10 Because the location near by river and lots of tree, you’ll find some bugs coming. Lots of mosquitoes at day, but the hotel already provide mosquito lotion

Couldn't be happier with this hotel. The room was gorgeous, quiet and comfortable with a private pool, everyone was incredibly friendly and accommodating, and the location was close to a ton of great restaurants and shops. I'd absolutely stay there again.

Our family of 5 enjoyed a wonderful 4 nights at KajaNe Mua in Ubud in October 2023. The staff were friendly and attentive, the complimentary afternoon tea (with iced coffee or other drinks of choice) delivered to our room daily was delicious. The private infinity pool was a welcome reprieve from the Ubud heat and our rooms were very luxurious. A highlight for us was when several staff surprised us all by turning up with a birthday cake and candles for our youngest son's birthday. The breakfast buffet was fresh and had lots of choice and we enjoyed a number of refreshing drinks and meals in the restaurant. We would definitely recommend this resort and hope to go back ourselves one day.
