Imagine waking up in the morning feeling refreshed. A soft distant bell in lieu of your "wake up call." You open the sliding door of your perfectly air-conditioned room, and you see a peaceful jungle slowly warming up with the soft morning sun. On your private porch's table is a perfectly warm ginger tea, previously brought to you by the morning staff. You walk 1min through a gorgeous resort and arrive at your yoga morning session, your mat and props are already installed, facing the luxuriant jungle. Your yoga teacher gradually guides you through a great practice and you finish the session feeling energized, ready to tackle the day. Your delicious, custom-made breakfast—respecting your food allergies and specific needs—is already awaiting you in the common dining room. You exchange a few words with friendly people from all over the globe while finishing your meal. After that comes a day of activities and exploration of Ubud (walks, bike, food etc.), always with your local guide. Your guide is not only friendly but also genuinely interested in sharing the rich history of Bali while learning more about your own culture. I'll stop here, but you can easily imagine the rest. All I can say is that this One World Kumara Retreat was simply incredible. Also, note three important things: - I'm a 6'3'' male weighing 220+lbs and I'm not the most flexible person in the world - I don't consider myself a very "spiritual" person, my girlfriend found out about this retreat, the reviews looked great so I just said "yolo" and we booked it - I'm an entrepreneur and a designer who's extremely detail-oriented. That means that I'm very critical of pretty much any service or product that I pay for. Even with those specific traits, from the onboarding to the very end, I've rarely seen an experience so carefully crafted in my whole life: - The staff was amazing; - the activities were very well organized; - the resort and the rooms were great; - the yoga teacher was great and she adapted to everyone; - even the participants were incredibly kind. I understood why this retreat was so great by talking to the owner (Claude). He's not only a great human being but also one of the most detail-oriented individuals I've met in my life. He really cares for the quality of the services provided to clients and it's obvious. Honestly, it would be hard for me to criticize anything from this retreat. I highly recommend it. My expectations and needs arriving there were to relax, unplug and take a quick break from a stressful lifestyle. I can say "mission accomplished 100%". With that said, if you arrive there hoping to party day and night and get lit, this is probably not the retreat for you. But if you want to unwind, take care of your body and your mind for a week: you can close your other browser tabs and stop the comparisons and research... you've found your new home in Ubub at One World Kumara. Enjoy :)

I joined the 'Footprints in Bali ' retreat 12-18th February 2017. I was a solo traveller among nine other solo travellers from all walks of life and around the world , we had many adventures and made great friends. Both the hikes and the yoga were challenging but the sense of achievement was great. Kumara is beautiful set in terraces in the jungle the rooms are beautiful, staff kind and food great. I came away feeling full of energy and positivity. A place of reckoning. Thank you

What a life changing and inspirational journey! It is almost impossible to put this experience into words. EVERYTHING is perfect, even the smallest details. Entering the premises is like stepping into another world, disconnecting from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Kumara, a beautiful resort made up of several stone built bungalows, is located just outside of Ubud and yet perfectly nestled in the jungle, surrounded by lush green. Every room has it's private balcony overlooking the tall coconut trees. The Yoga sessions in morning and afternoon are calming and re-energising, catered for all levels. The Yoga Shala is one of the many highlights of the Resort; a vast space with a view over the jungle, a big Gong which will call you for the sessions every day. The props and mats are always perfectly set up before one arrives. The only noise "disturbing" your meditation will be the singing and chirping of uncountable birds greeting the new day and the wind moving the leaves of the surrounding trees. All meals are pieces of art, local and international flavours combined in a carefully selected menu. It's impossible to not clean your plate or ask for more! The Spa onsite is another highlight and so are the therapists. Their hands are purely magical, all treatments will make you feel like a princess (or prince), pampered with the most luxurious oils, smells and 100% attention to detail. The Staff and the whole team at Kumara makes up an important part of the experience; it would not be the same without their attentiveness, loving kindness, attention to detail. When staying at Oneworldretreats it feels like becoming a part of a big family, who will take care of you and will always want to see you happy. The workshops of the Follow Your Dreams Retreat were absolutely life changing; I gained so many insights into myself and my life as well as inspiration and the ambition to totally reshape my future. I have so much energy and drive as well as trust; the retreat definitely gave me the confidence that everything I set my mind to will work out. I left Oneworldretreats as a different person and I want to thank everyone who was involved in the process, part of this journey of myself to myself. Attending one of the retreats is simply a must. Disconnect from the world outside and immerse yourself into a life changing journey!

My wife and I recently had the pleasure of attending the One World Retreat - Escape the World led by Pak Iyan Yaspriyana, on the 24-30 December 2024 and we cannot express enough our gratitude for the profound impact it had on our overall well-being. This serene oasis provided us with the perfect environment to embark on a journey of meditation, rest, and rejuvenation for our body, spirit, and mind. (Of not, this was my second time joining the same program Escpae the World, the first time was back in 2016 around April/ May, followed by a 17-days panchakarma program, One World Ayurveda Retreat in June 2017. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by a warm and attentive staff who made us feel instantly at ease. The peaceful surroundings, nestled amidst the breathtaking beauty of the premise, created a truly transformative atmosphere. The lush gardens, tranquil yoga shala, and inviting accommodations all contributed to a sense of serenity and tranquility that allowed us to fully immerse ourselves in our practice. The yoga and meditation sessions were thoughtfully guided, helping us delve deeper into our inner self. The yoga classes were expertly led by knowledgeable Pak Iyan with his assistant Pak Yudhi who catered to practitioners of all levels. Each session left us feeling invigorated, yet grounded, with a renewed sense of balance and clarity. The retreat also offered a variety of wellness activities that complemented the yoga and meditation practices. The spa treatments were blissful, providing much-needed relaxation and rejuvenation. They are one of the best therapists you can find in Bali or the world I would say. The nourishing meals, made with fresh, locally sourced ingredients, were not only delicious but also contributed to my overall sense of vitality and well-being. The entire staff at the retreat exuded genuine care and professionalism. They were always available to address any of our needs or concerns, ensuring that our experience was nothing short of exceptional. In conclusion, I wholeheartedly recommend the One World Retreat to anyone seeking a transformative inner self. Whether you are a seasoned yogi or a beginner, this retreat will provide you with the perfect sanctuary to meditate, rest, and rejuvenate your body, spirit, and mind. Prepare to embark on a life-changing journey that will leave you feeling refreshed, inspired, and deeply connected to yourself and the world around you.

I was very impressed by the hygiene of the Panchakarma treatment area and the quality of the equipment used, such as copper bathtubs and oil pots. The therapists' knowledge of the subject, their compassionate approach, and their experience made me feel very safe. Our face-to-face physical examination was more efficient, thanks to the specialist doctors who came from India, the homeland of Ayurveda, making preparations with the preliminary information form they sent before our arrival. We made very rapid progress thanks to the personalized treatments they provided. For this reason, it is a center to which we can always refer our patients with peace of mind. During our stay, the meals specially served to each of us as part of our treatment were extremely delicious and healthy. We were all very happy that the chef organized a cooking workshop for us. The staff at the reception were extremely friendly, understanding and helpful. The service quality of the restaurant was very successful and we especially thank them for their sensitivity to our medicines. Our rooms were cleaned perfectly every day, and the clothes we would wear during and after the treatment were left in our room in an extremely orderly manner. The cleanliness and softness of our towels made us feel at home. The service continued flawlessly at all times.

The Oneworld yoga retreat with Martine « A life of balance » was an amazing experience for me and my boyfriend! I’m a yoga enthusiast, not a pro, but I’ve been practicing it for a year and I like to be good at what I’m doing. Martine has a very good approach for explaining every posture and makes it easy to follow. She made sure to explain important details to help us bring our practice to the next level. For my boyfriend who doesn’t have as much experience and flexibility, she proposed a lot of alternatives and easier poses. She was very good to give explanations for every level. It was blessing to meet Martine, but also all the staff (like Desy) who were all so welcoming! Even the owner (Claude) was present and very kind. All very nice people to meet and with so much stories to listen. Me and my boyfriend, as two entrepreneurs, we had a very stressful year and this retreat was exactly what we needed. The mix between the exploration of the balinese culture and rituals, the yoga practices and meditation time, all in a beautiful tropical environment, was just perfect. We also learned a lot about yoga. All the experience from the people we met to the amazing food and spa treatment were just memorable. Also because they seemed to think about every details to make sure you won’t have anything to think about except to relax… The nice bell to wake you up with a warm ginger, lemon and honey tea, in the morning. All the equipment you need, they get it for you: a little backpack for the week, the rituals dress, even the raincoat if it rain during an activity… The transport you need, they offer everything. You don’t have to worry about anything or to pay more for what you need. On top of that, we had the pleasure to share it with such nice people. Honestly, I don’t think we couldn’t have found a better retreat for so many reasons… I could never recommend it enough. So, even if you’re beginner to yoga, or as me, not a big fan of meditation… the balance of this retreat, the way they take care of you, the food, the activities, the spa treatment, the beautiful place in nature… everything is so peaceful, relaxing and welcoming. I don’t think you can regret! Except maybe if you’re looking for a party yoga retreat… ;-)

I had a really wonderful experience on the Escape the World retreat. From being picked up at the airport to having your curtains drawn for you each morning and evening, the attention to detail here leaves you feeling so cared for. On top of that, the program itself was just the right balance between activities and free time - plenty of free time to make full use of the day spa, for example. The staff are lovely and the whole week was even more than I had imagined. I can't wait to go back!

An amazing week of well paced activity. The yoga was for me personally challenging at times but the unobtrusive help given ensured that I was able to work at my own level. The spiritual atmosphere of the retreat location and meditation was just perfect. The retreat leader was superbly professional yet met you on a personal level. The staff throughout were attentive and couldn't do enough to make sure you were well looked after. Food was superb, facilities and attention to detail allowed one to relax and deepen with little effort. Just what the doctor ordered! Thank You

The facility is beyond beautiful, really quite stunning. The team are all so friendly and welcoming, ensuring your time there is perfect. The yoga is fun and made for all levels, which was nice for me :) The food is so healthy, delicious and fresh. The Owners & Hosts are beyond fantastic; Claude, Iyan and Wayan are so wonderful, they do their utmost to give you the most fabulous time. The island and the people are the epitome of grace and spirit. You just could not find a better place to go on vacation!!

I had the most amazing experience at Oneworld. It was my first solo trip, and through the process I really got to know myself better. I built life long friendships and will have memories to cherish forever. The resort was absolutely beautiful and the food as well as the service were 5 star. Im already planning my next trip, and until then I will be dreaming of the avocado chocolate mousse!!! Thank you Oneworld for an unforgettable week!

A week ,Immerse Yourself In Bali, was a week of pampering: Friendly, attentive and helpful staff; very fine food; Intensive yoga and meditation lessons with Wayan, who, as a yoga beginner, gave me magical moments with lots of self-awareness and extremely professional guidance - 🙏 The massages are heavenly, the place is fantastic, the rooms are beautiful and the excursions and immersion in Balinese culture are fascinating! I felt safe and carried in warmth and love….
