I don't recommend this place to stay. Let me start with accommodation. Checkin, according to the rules, should be from 14:00, we were settled almost at 15:30, because the rooms were being cleaned. The room itself is disgusting: the bedding has seen better times, the pillows are very thin, some kind of dusty rag was put on the bed and it turned out to be a blanket, I had to ask for a duvet cover (they gave out a torn and unpleasant smell). Bed linen was not changed even once in two weeks. The towels also smelled disgusting, but not only the towels, but the whole room. The smell in the room was terrible, when you turn on the AC, the smell intensified and the room smelled of sewage. Staff apparently also lives in this place and apparently was very busy with their household chores, because it was almost impossible to find any of the staff. Fresh drinking water was changed only once. In general, if you want to spoil your impression of Ubud - feel free to book this place, you won't regret it.

5 stars are not enough for this place!! Our room was clean and spacious and the bathroom had a small ceiling opening to be more connected with nature. The bast part tho was the friendliness of the owners - they could help you with everything you ask them quickly and efficiently!! Always smiling and warm towards you😍!

Great little homestay with a small lap pool. Comfortable rooms with fan & A/C. No coffee tea making facilities, you have to ask for it in the kitchen/dining area. I love the greenery, bird, koi fish pond and all the Balinese statues. Also had to request for a bathmat, which they provided. Shampoo and shower gel supplied. Bathrooms could do with a scrub. No TV but I don't need it. Be careful not to accidentally lock your things in the safe as one of them needs a key to open and close. Entry light bulb not working. Staff are helpful and friendly.

The bathroom smelled disgusting! And wasn't nice at all. The water tap was a bit broken and sometime hardly any water came out of it. Additionally because of many AC's on the other side of the wall it always was a bit noisy at night. The WiFi was bad. But the room has a nice big bed and balcony, the people were very friendly, the little garden area was beautiful an breakfast was great. Someone recommend this hotel to me but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, there are nicer places in Ubud!

Hard to complaint at this price point. It's not perfect but for the most part, we're satisfied. Location is smack in the middle of the town, yet so quiet as it's in its own garden. Water heater works fine. There's a balcony overlooking the garden. The bed is comfy. The family stays downstairs and they are friendly. If you know how to strike a conversation, they have a lot of stories to share. The owner Pak Nyoman is a painter and a skilled massage therapist, miraculously my pain vanished after the massage. I think you pay more for the local vibe than on the small details of the guesthouse. Like I said, hard to complaint at this price point.

I stayed here almost a month. The room is quite big, the balcony with a view, the fan and aircon, clean. I'd like to have better bathroom taps and a shower. You should ask to change the towels and bed linens. The location is good, not far from the main road and supermarkets. The family is very nice and warm. You can ask them for a driver and tour, massage or reflexology. Mama has everything πŸ˜‰ I recommend this place for staying. Thank you so much! πŸ™πŸ½β€πŸ€—πŸ•‰

We had a very pleasant stay at Sandat Bali Ubud. The host was very warm and welcoming. The place was very strategically located, easy access to the city center/tourist area. The entire room was comfortable and spacious. A really good value for its price and I would definitely come back here.

This place is amazing! Nice, clean and very characteristic rooms. Nice and clean pool. Super nice and fresh breakfast cooked on the spot. And Mama and her staff are simply amazing. They were helping us with all our requests, they even did our laundry and kept our luggages and then sent them to Canguu. 11/10.

Be careful with this place. Fake reviews? Even if you give them your credit/debit card data to pay for your stay, they force you later to pay by cash, without any prior warning. By Indonesian law, they should charge you by card, not by cash. So why do they hold your card data? The staff was rude and aggressive in front of all the tenants. Booking.com could take legal actions to close this business, because they do this to avoid paying tax. Go to other homestay/hotel with better energy and enjoy Bali❀️!

Love the room, as it's spacious and the view from the private balcony is amazing. Friendly host. Run by a local family. They also offer reflexology massage service, which i think it's really likeable by a lot of people, as even locals from Jakarta would go to the guesthouse just to have the reflexology massage.(I didn't get a chance to try).

Close to many restaurants and shops Staff go above and beyond to give good service. They resolved a room issue for us immediately. Good value for money. Nice breakfast. Recommend the massage offered by the massage therapist there. Scooter rental a little bit costlier than other places in the area

One of the best accommodation in Bali, unique in its genre, amazing atmosphere and great hospitality from the Balinese staff. We use to visit this place twice a year and every time it’s a different and great experience. Very recommended for those seeking for unique experience in Bali

😠 We stayed here in April 2023 at the beginning of our 6 month Asian adventure. 2 months have passed and this hotel still gives us reoccurring nightmares. I’ll start with the very few positives: 1. Great location in central Ubud, near the markets which are bustling during the day but are dead silent...
