We had a great time with Santana and his family. They were very helpful and supportive of our adventures. The room was situated away from the main roads so it was quiet for resting, but very walkable and convenient for everything around Ubud. The room was clean and inviting and the breakfast was delicious. There are several restaurants in easy walking distance available for lunch or dinner and nice driving tour packages available from the homestay. I would recommend this homestay to anyone not looking for a luxury resort experience but those who appreciate a friendly and helpful small family business. Thanks Santana.

That was a really great place to stay!!!! We went there by friends recomendation. Arrive in the afternoon quite exhausted and the whole family came to welcome us. They showed us the rooms and, we had to stay!!! Really nice rooms, with fan or AC, everything was super clean and the house is hidden and quiet after a small path in between other houses. When we set our luggage in the room,we were offered a nice hot water termo and all the facilities to prepare coffee or tea. Next morning we felt even better when we tried the delicious breakfast they made for us. Everything was perfect: room, place, breakfast, price and most of all, the hospitality and kindness of the whole family!! Real homestay. 10/10

Super clean, spacious rooms including AC and hot shower. Perfect breakfast (fresh fruit and pancakes or omelette or traditional Indonesian every morning). Very helpful and nice hosts, they organised airport pickup and a really nice day tour for us.

I lived in this wonderful place for 1 month. It was my first experience of staying in a family hotel and it was amazing. Cleaning was daily and at the highest level. I haven't seen any insects in my room for the whole month (this is amazing for Bali). I lived on the second floor and they treat everything from insects. I am delighted with the Santana family, I would like to communicate with them more if my English was better. They helped solve any of my problems (laundry, taxi, the best breakfast in Bali, etc.). I invited my friends to this hotel. They said it was their best accommodation experience in Bali. They have a large enough and secluded balcony. I spent a lot of time there. It is well fenced off, so it can be called a two-room room) Convenient location. You are close to everything, but at the same time on a quiet street. There are a lot of beautiful paintings that Santana paints on the territory. I was very comfortable there. And you get all this for very little money. This is the best price-quality ratio that I have met. I would really like to come back here in the future. I will recommend this hotel to all my friends. Thank very much to Santana and his family for such a pleasant experience)

Honestly a second home for me. This has been my second time here. Santana and his family are truly wonderful people: warm, friendly, and genuinely caring. A beautiful garden surrounds the grounds. It's just so lovely and peaceful to sit on the porch or balcony while sipping your coffee and taking in the view. Putu, his wife, makes an excellent breakfast. Always a big bowl of fresh fruit accompanied with her delicious creation for the day. The rooms are simple, but very clean and comfortable. You will not be diappointed. ❀️

A wonderfully family owned hotel in the heart of Ubud. Walk 30m down a quiet alley to Santana Homestay and the noise of Ubuds traffic is replaced with birdsong and peaceful quiet. This is a no frills hotel. However we had 4 amazing nights of sleep, waking up everyday feeling refreshed and to a delicious homemade breakfast. Upon arrival and departure we were warmly greeted by Mr Santana and his family (despite both times being antisocial hours). It genuinely felt like they were happy to have us. Do not come here expecting a 5* hotel. But embrace the culture of Ubud and this is the place for you. Thank you Mr Santana!

I highly recommend staying in the house of Sanatana. It’s very well located in the center of Ubud. The family is awesome β™₯️ They are all welcoming > The father Santana is so kind and funny. He has a good energy and shared with me a lot about the culture > The Daughter Ayu: She is a healer and so talend. From my date of birth, she knew everything about me. > The Son Adi: is so helpful and so smart. I will come again to stay in Santana House

Everything was perfect during my stay. Amazing location in Ubud but still quiet and peaceful. The facilities are nice and beautiful. Very clean and spacious. And the most important, the family host is so adorable. The parents and their 2 children were so helpful during all the trip and they are so nice with everyone. You can feel that they work with their heart. I had a really great time chatting with them and they gave me a great service and great memories. I wanted to stay more. The breakfast in the morning is so good and changes every day. Recommend 100%

Santana's family is so lovely and the space they have created is just as lovely. Santana and his wife and son and daughter all take great care of the room and their guests, especially when I had a cold and they brought me freshly cut ginger to put in my water! The room was clean without a single bug, the bed was very fluffy and the duvet was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast is also prepared differently every day and is very tasty. Santana is a painter and there are so many beautiful paintings all over the house, it's like being in a gallery. I will long remember the time I spent on the balcony here writing in my journal, watching the sun go down and seeing the moonlight. I love Santana's family and their space! I also highly recommend the Ayu's numerlogy here. I was talking to the Santana family and found out that Ayu can do numerlogy, and although I don't believe in this deeply, I tried it out of curiosity. But she was the smartest and wisest person I've ever met, despite being young. She told me things about myself that are eerily accurate, and she healed me by giving me solutions, not just interpretations. My conversations with her have taught me important lessons that have become my compass for life. She has been passionate about sharing what she knows with me for a long time. She is Santana's sweet, loving daughter and the best healer I know!

I wholeheartedly give Santana Bali Home Stay 1,000 stars for my exceptional experience during my extended stay. If you are considering a visit to Ubud, this charming home stay offers a genuine glimpse into the everyday lives of the warm and welcoming Balinese people. My initial plan was for a one-month stay, but I enjoyed it so much that I decided to extend my visit for an additional month. I am already eagerly anticipating my return in 2024 for an extended four-month stay. What sets Santana Bali Home Stay apart is not just its comfortable accommodations but also the enchanting Santana family, who radiate happiness and camaraderie. Laughter fills the air, and it is heartwarming to witness returning guests being greeted like long-lost friends. One delightful surprise that awaits each morning is a scrumptious breakfast, seemingly appearing as soon as you step out of your room. As a solo traveler, I greatly valued the genuine care and concern the Santana family displayed towards me. When I had some dental work scheduled one morning, which meant I could not eat beforehand and had to wait for four hours afterward, Putu, the wife, and mother of the family, went out of her way to ensure I had something to eat exactly four hours later. Adi, the son of the family is a jokester. He recently graduated from university with a degree in economics. Ayuu, their daughter, is a bright and engaging university student, making for captivating conversations. I had the privilege of engaging in numerous thought-provoking discussions with Santana, the father, and gained valuable insights into their rich culture and heritage. Santana Bali Home Stay is more than just a place to stay; it is a heartfelt and authentic Balinese experience that will leave you with cherished memories and an eagerness to return. My stay here has been nothing short of extraordinary, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking a genuine and immersive cultural experience in Ubud.

It was such a home experience. Santana family is really sweet. Everytime I came back house, one of their family welcomed me. The room was cleaned by Adi everyday. You can have different breakfast with full of seasonal fruits of Bali everyday. The location is also perfect. Less than 10mins by walk to the main road. Laundry, massage, small supermarket are just around the corner. It is two blocks away from Monkey forest. Island liked it’s location as it is residential area. You can meet real local and it is quiet and peaceful. I traveled alone but felt home with them. I will definitely stay with them again when I am back to Ubud.

πŸ‘ The place was very nice, good pool, friendly staff, decent breakfast included. It lost one star because there were screaming/crying children ALL day during out few nights here (I believe it was the staffs children). Other than that excellent.

πŸ‘πŸ‘ Really good hostel to stay in! The rooms and bathrooms are well maintained and clean. You meet a lot of other solo travelers there and it’s very social. The common area is also really nice as the view is just greenery and there is a constant sound of water rushing. The breakfast isn’t anything fancy...
