This inn location is at a very small alley, It only can be accessed with motorcycle/bike/by foot. There's a swimming pool inside of this inn and it's pretty clean. The room is clean and neat. Even there's no AC in my room back then, but this room's air circulation is pretty good. I don't feel heated in this room and the room isn't humid. There's few type of room and I get one of those traditional room type. You can get free breakfast (I don't know if it's because of my booking or they really offer breakfast to all guest) and you can choose yours every morning. The staffs is very kind and friendly. If you walk out from the alley you will find the main street with a lot of shops and cafes.

If 0 star was possible I have given 0 star for their behavior and rudeness. After booking this hotel 5 months ago confirmation with the owner paid in full they refused us without any valid reasons. We were traveling from India after 8 hours of long flight they refused us to check in. Kept us waiting for 1 hour we asked for drinking water as my children were thirsty. How rude one can be they refused us provide drinking water. Anyone going for vacation in bali ubud please avoid this place at any cost.

Love the swan inn. The family that runs the place are amazing people. It's so peaceful and you can sometimes hear the band next door in the evenings. Breakfast is served right on the patio. Some of the paint is peeling a little bit but that's normal in damp weather and everything is well maintained. Hot and cold showers, a pool, there's some cute dogs next door. It's really paradise in the heart of ubud. We would always come back. Every room has a private patio, the rooms are huge, the beds are comfortable, and the location is awesome 👌🏻

Stay is not relaxing. The gate of the premises always open. Chaos going around this place. People working in this place always peering in our room no privacy. This place not supply drinking water don't have water filter always have to buy water from the owner. Water pressure in the bathroom is very low. Hot water supply in the bathroom is not regular. Overall bad experience.

Great location and excellent value for money. Big comfortable bed and room, modern bathroom. Walk out to all the local shops and restaurants, ATM'S and minimart.. ..Not far from Sacred Monkey Forest and other attractions. CJ Lounge has brought the beach to you in this restaurant, 2 minute walk away.

The staff is super friendly. Good rooms for the price. Laundry available and scooter rentals. It’s walking distance to all the top Ubud places. It’s tucked back enough to feel secluded and be quite at night.

LOVE THIS PLACE....MORE THAN WORTH THE MONEY! Most important feature of any hotel, to me is ...the staff! They are amazing people: friendly, polite, and jump to immediately when asked for anything. Swann inn is down a small walking lane, only 30 seconds walk between last car stop and entrance. Motorcycles can access all the way to the gate and there is parking. YOU CAN NOT BEAT THE PRICE & PRESENCE of this place! Walk in the gate 5 feet and you will see exactly what i am talking about! The grounds are Very Spacious, lots of plants and flowers, big swimming pool, spacious outdoor poolside kitchen and sitting area for guests, in the back there is a traditional Balinese temple and ceremony buildings and, the rooms...👍🙏 The exterior of each of the buildings are decorated like Balinese temples with brick walls and stone carved decorative features! BEAUTIFUL! The grounds are so big i dont hear traffic...only birds cooing and singing and the breeze in the trees! The inside of the room i stayed in (standard room), is large, comfortable big bed, desk, wardrobe, small refrigerator, and an end table. Bathroom...Huge. Attached Outdoor roofed sitting area with couch and throne like comfy chair! Sit anywhere inside or outside and look around and you see green, flowers, and beautiful local traditional architecture. Only downside for Some people...no tv and no ac. Ceiling fan was comfortable enough for me. And who needs a tv when everyone these days has a tablet or phone! 👍🙏 Location is also petfect! Central Ubud: 1 minute from ubud handicraft mkt, 4 minutes from wholesale handicraft export area, 4 min from monkey forest, 2 minutes from local food areas and market, and 5 minutes from western tourist restaurant areas. Safe for families, couples and solo travelers like me! I stayed 1 month...and I WILL COME BACK! ENJOY! 😉👍🙏

We had a really great stay here. Spent 4 nights in their garden view room which was perfect. No air con just a roof fan but this suits us more. Their new building is stunning if you wanted to treat yourself. Breakfast was very nice, rooms cleaned every day, pool area was clean, quiet and relaxing.

We had a great stay. The staff is very accommodating and friendly. Room was clean and had a nice balcony. WiFi did not reach our room and mobile data reception was poor also. Otherwise no complaints.

We stayed 13 nights here. The swimmingpool and the kitchen was a big plus, the staff was very friendly and reliable. The room with the ventilator, the warm water and the cleaning after 3-4 days was nice. But the bed wasn’t good so that I couldn’t rest very good there. It was also not good isolated so that it was pretty loud in the morning. The Wi-fi was often not good enough for my remote work. For a short time it’s ok but i wouldn’t stay there again if I have the option.

Great place to stay in Ubud. It is very quite and amazing for long stays. Great value for money. No frills experience. There is a community kitchen and dining area for you to cook your own food. The host is very kind and accomadating. They also offer various services for yours and treks. Highly recommend if you are planning on going to Ubud for a longer stay at a reasonable price

Great value for money, nothing special but good enough for your staying in ubud. Walking distance to the centre, tradicional place with nice swimming pool. The service was good too, and they can keep your luggage if needed.

Good enough. Good yard and pool, good balcony. Only mattress is not soft, hot water in bathroom not stable, also the water pressure is very low. Found 2 cockroaches, ants are everywhere must put foods very clean. Sim card signal is 4/5.

We have been at the Swan for 6 nights now, and we are blown away by how good our time has been. Extremely good location in the middle of Ubud's Restaurants and shops, walking distance to everything. Our room was fantastic and the service was Excellent, so happy to see their smiling faces everyday, and the kicker is they sell cold Bintang at Reception, how good is that. We highly recomend the Swan Inn, you can't go wrong.

A little bit of context: I have been backpacking across Java for 10 days staying only in hostels prior to this. So when I finally reached Ubud after 10 hours of gruesome travel from Ijen, all I wanted to do was take a shower and just relax for the next two days. But being in the swan inn made relaxing practically impossible. It started at check in, when we were brought to the wrong room and despite us telling her that we booked for twin room, she just insisted that will require additional payment. So then we had to drag all our things to the wrong room and dig out the booking before they brought us to the other room. Throughout the switch, no assistance was offered on our luggages. (Side note please do not book the bungalows, the fan at max speed was still really stuffy and there were too many mosquitoes to leave the windows opened) During the first night when I was taking a shower, the toilet suddenly became flooded with water because the drainage system (buried under wood panels) stopped working. I had to jump out in the midst of a shower to get help downstairs (it was only around 7pm) and I ran into the owner who just came up, have a look, and said “ok i’ll come and check tomorrow”, and I did inform him i was in the middle of a shower. No offer of room change, nothing. There goes my night to unwind and recharge. Next day, they did come up to fix at about 2pm and everything was resolved. But during the night time, a lizard visited but my room mate got rid of it. Next came a cockroach, which was at least 3cm long, which leads me to believe that this room probably have not been used for a long time. The cockroach ran around really quickly in the room and we eventually lost sight of it. But believe me when i say i had the worst sleep of my life, just imagining that huge thing crawling up on me. All in all, this concluded my stay in Ubud and i just had the absolute worst time. I am supposed to love Bali but I really couldnt. Don’t get me wrong though, the people there were very nice, they check in on you and all, oh and the laundry service was absolutely amazing (it smelled so good), but I just dont think this is a very good place to stay in. I’ve had way better rest in hostels than this private room just because their turnover is higher i guess. Anyway, i also hope they adopt a more organized system for check in and management of complaints.

We stayed in Swan inn for 8 days and had the most amazing time!! Amazing staff and big rooms, that helped us with everything we needed and rent bike. Laundry is amazing also… highly recommended!!!❤️❤️❤️

Seemed to be nice looking at photos. It’s got a yard and some cottages with balconies and one bigger multi-storey building with units. Setting is nice… but when in location every little noise echoes around the yard to all the units, and because doors are open and people sit outside you can hear every conversation, every zoom call, loud people in the pool, someone listening to the radio, every party person returning at night. To top it all off there were construction on the premises with an angle grinder going even on Sunday till 6 pm. And next door there was a concrete drill going almost daily. The people who were working in the garden almost the whole time were constantly peering into your room. Over all uncomfortable stay, not for relaxing that’s for sure.

Super nice family run place in the heart of Ubud. Big clean rooms. Comfy beds. Comfy pillows. Strong AC. Clean pool. Property is constantly being maintained. Family also watched my bag for me for a week while I travelled the island. Great stay.

This place is beautiful. The staff is really attentive. The new rooms are top. But they have to improve bathroom cleaning and the rooms more ancient don't have a good bathroom. Also for breakfast. Only toast with egg and coffee or tea and some pieces of fruit. The pool is great but also has to be cleaned differently even if the water was really clean and transparent. We stayed 6 days there and the location is amazing! They also have a laundry inside which is really convenient!!! Is a family owned small property and they are lovely. They have a huge potential but have to improve the other points to be excellent :)

Great location in the heart of the town, but still very peaceful. Friendly staff, decent breakfast served to the bungalow terrace. Bungalows are spacious, but bit old. We had a kitchen too. Nice swimming pool.

Stayed here for three nights. Loved it! The deluxe rooms are brand new with the fresh wood smell for the wardrobe. Great for the price $50 a night. Super cute atmosphere. AC works great. We’re vegan so brekkies are always tricky but they had fruit salad with “jaffles” (two bread pieces toasted and pressed in between bananas or pineapple like a waffle) so we could eat there as well. Their rafting booking was only 250k rupiah whereas some other people got charged more through the agency we heard. The one guy (and most of them) spoke English very well and was super friendly. Would highly recommend!
