An oasis in the center of Ubud. A very nice garden with a clean pool and nice staff who looked after us with hearty care. Tasty breakfast, which can also be arranged for a later hour. The room and equipment correspond to the price. Matur suksma Kuaya Home Stay 🙏 Always book accommodation in Bali managed by Balinese people. Their hospitality is exemplary. Which can't be said about other nationalities who run a business here and just hide behind the famous friendliness of their staff.

It almost feels like living in a quaint temple. The rooms are spacious, the hosts are extremely warm, and the overall vibe is extremely calming.

Fabulous place to stay. Close enough to the centre but not noisy or busy! Within walking distance of all central attractions. Staff very attentive, rooms clean, AC good, bed massive! Pool is secluded, clean and surrounded by beautiful plants. Breakfast great and different every day and served on your personal balcony/terrace! Great value for money (bear in mind you need to pay in cash)

DO NOT STAY HERE WHEN GOING TO UBUD !!! 0/10 !!! Our worst homestay experience in Indonesia so far. The room looks like a cell and is not very clean. Wifi was not working at all in the room. The towels smell like wet dog and there is no more hot water after 7PM. If you like being woken up at 6 am by the sound of spitting you are at the right place. I guess some members of the family do not know any propper manners. The breakfasts are basic, better take breakfast in small coffee shops in Ubud. Also, the closet smells like death, you cannot put your clothes in it. Last but not least, they only told us at the end that they only take cash payments.

Very bad place overall. I wasn’t expecting a 5 stars hotel going to Kuaya Homestay but I hoped I could at least have a peaceful rest in a convivial place. That was not the case. The room was quite dirty : smelly towels and closet. The bathroom smelled a lot and we could not have hot water for 2 out of 3 nights. Wifi was almost inexistant. It was really difficult to sleep as we could hear everything from outside - including the incessant throat-clearing and spitting noises of the family son. The communication with the hosts was quite difficult and definitely not genuine. We were happy to leave. I do not recommend.

I stayed here 1 year ago. It is one of my favourite places to have stayed in 1 year of travel. As mentioned by many, the hosts are fantastic and the thoughtful care with breakfast and, tea and coffee is a winning combo. It is not a new place but is a winner because of the hosts. I have just been looking to book in the future. Sadly it is always booked out, but understandable. I just hope that they are fully booked and not closed down. Can someone give an up to date review?? 🙏🙏🙏🙏

We had such a great stay here. Really close to centre of Ubud, hosts were really friendly and helpful. Small but immaculate pool and gardens with breakfast served on our balcony every morning. Room was huge with the biggest bed I've ever seen!

I am always an all inclusive, well known hotel kinda girl (especially when traveling solo) but a dear friend suggested that I used booking while in Bali- best suggestion ever! I felt safe, welcomed and close to everything but best of all was the cleanliness and service. Madi, who is the property manager was an angel- sooo sweet.

The rooms are clean, the hosts provide tasty breakfast, towels and make your bed and clean your room every day. Everyone is super nice to you and eager to help! There is also a pool to use free of charge.

I just spent ages writing a bloody long review and then somehow lost before hitting publish. Grrr here we go again… Ok. Just finished breakfast (included in price) which is really delicious and changes everyday. It’s made with a lot of love, and always comes with a bowl of fruit. I’m staying in a budget fan room and whilst the towels are a bit dated and slightly smelling of damp, I think for the price it’s a great room - it even has a vanity table with mirror too. Every room here has a nice outdoor space with a table which is where they serve the yummy breakfast. And it is also where there’s always a hot thermos waiting for you with tea or coffee. These little touches really make you feel like you’re actually staying in luxury. The property is comprised of lots of small buildings with beautiful plants and very well cared for. The architecture as you first enter is typical Balinese style and a delight to look at - my room faces the view in the photos. To get to the pool is a bit of a maze to the back of the property but when you find it you a rewarded with a charming hidden oasis. Surrounded by lush plants and vegetation and then thick trees beyond, it feels like you’re in the forest. I can’t recommend enough. The family are very kind and will go out of their way to help you with whatever you need.

Convenient for going to sleep and get a shower and breakfast. The host hospitality is good and actually is one of the things that makes Bali an outstanding destination compared with other places. Wifi quality is a contra here.

Clean, good shower and bed, nice breakfast. Very basic place and a bit expensive unless you feel like paying extra for having a small pool in the backyard.

This is a gem. The owners are super friendly and helpful, and you'll get a wonderful breakfast every morning! Also, a hot thermos for coffee and tea appeared whenever we were near the room, it's like magic!

We stayed for 2 weeks in Ubud and we were a little unlucky that the weather was patchy. We loved our homestay, we were treated royally for 2 weeks. The Breakfast is superb and was enough to feed a regiment. They brought us fresh fruit every day and a gift of a large bag of Bali coffee. When my wife was ill they brought soup and regularly checked in on her. No complaints, perfect spot.

Love staying at the beautiful homestay, great breakfast every morning, clean pool and super friendly staff who is very helpful and kind to kids. The bed is even bigger than king size and it feels like you are in a tropical forest. Everything is like on their pictures!

😠 We stayed here in April 2023 at the beginning of our 6 month Asian adventure. 2 months have passed and this hotel still gives us reoccurring nightmares. I’ll start with the very few positives: 1. Great location in central Ubud, near the markets which are bustling during the day but are dead silent...
