We stayed here last October for 1 night. The owner is one of the best hosts we have ever meet. She is super nice and accommodating, trying her best to make your stay pleasant. It can be easily seen that money is not her first priority, but guest's pleasant stay is more important. We arrived early in the morning just wanted to put our luggage there before going for a day tour, but surprisingly the rooms were already ready and she allowed us to check-in and put our luggage in the rooms. She also let us rent her motorbike (which is quite new) with a very affordable price and no need any deposit. Room is clean, breakfast is freshly made every day by the owner and it was tasty. Though there is no air-con, it was not a big problem during our stay. The owner said she would try to upgrade the rooms step by step as they started the business with a tight budget in the beginning. Location is near the main tourist spot, locating near the end of a small alley and it took about 5-7 mins walking to the main street.

The host was amazing! One of my few 5 star ratings. She was kind, genuinely helpful and honest. She gave off a warmth that made you feel like she was your favourite, long-lost aunt, or something. The room was comfortable. Beautiful garden outside our room with outdoor seating, good ceiling fan, no AC (unfortunately), no fridge but a public fridge where you can buy drinks for supermarket prices, AMAZING fresh breakfast, shower and toilet in one room w/o separation. Good location. Close by stores etc. Quiet except for some kids from the school across the street in the morning.

I highly recommend Uma Taman house. It is a very comfortable and quiet place(except one morning with some school kids having some activity). The host, Mme Ayu is the most hospitable and honest business owner I have ever come across. The location is great if you want to go to the different attractions in Ubud. Even when I wanted a bicycle during my first day, the owner rent me her husband's bicycle as a start. If you want to go to other parts of Bali she will arrange it for you for a price that you can't usually get by yourself. And yeah there is a fridge for the drinks in case you need any, for a price that is cheaper than supermarkets in Bali. Every morning you will have a unique breakfast, for me the breakfast alone was worth staying here, for I never had such a breakfast elsewhere in Bali or SE Asia.

Room is small, but cozy and sparkling clean. Linen and towels were good. It was good pressure in the shower and hot water. Breakfasts were tasty and variety. The place is a bit noisy during the day, because it is located near school, but quite enough at night. Walking distance to the centre of Ubud (palace, market). The road is very narrow, for one car only. There are also good warungs nearby.

Very nice place to stay in Ubud, stayed in dec 2016. Very affordable and the lady running the place was lovely, always making nice breakfast for you in the morning. The room was clean and being without AC wasn't a problem since there was a good fan. You can rent scooter from them for 50k-65k. The only thing to mark on was that the room could get very light in the morning as soon as the sun went up.

Such a peaceful place, a real oasis. The place is tucked away in a little alley, away from the main road, so it's quiet. Homecooked traditional Indonesian breakfast and fresh fruit every day. As much tea and coffee as you want during the day. The room was big and had a super comfy bed. You can rent scooters here too and organize your onward journey. Best wifi we had in SE Asia! Thank you for making us feel right at home!

We where 6 months living in ubud. We went door by door asking for seeing rooms and price, and this place was what we choose. For the low price compared to similar homestays, the quality is SO GOOD! Best thing is Ayu (the owner), she is super nice and kind. Also is very clean, she cleans room every 3 days. The shower has hot water and good pressure. The room is decent in size and has a table inside of it. They have 5g internet which is a plus here. They have ceiling fan but not air con, however we didn't find it was needed. Anyways if you're looking for rooms in this price range Uma Taman is probably the best you will get.

This is so homey! Located in an alley, it offers serenity. Spacious and bright room, clean, newly built, comfy pillows, good wifi. No A/C, no problem. I couldnโ€™t ask for more. The host is very kind and attentive. We also got breakfast in this very affordable rates. Coffee and tea is available in every room. Definitely will go back when Iโ€™m in Ubud.

I didn't take many pics, just a pic of my breakfast. My friend and I stayed for 2 nights here. I really love this homestay. Affordable, clean and comfortable. The owner also provided us breakfast which was great! I'll stay here again when I visit Ubud! Recommended๐Ÿ‘

Everything was good about this place. The owners are very nice, they rented us a scooter, which was in very good condition. The breakfast was delicious. The location of the place is very near to ubud center, you can walk to many of the attractions there. I can easily recommend this to anyone. Also they don't accept any card payments but you can find many currency exchange places near by.

The host is really nice and the rooms are very clean, no specific smell is very important to me. Also, the wifi works great. In the morning and in the evening we get a termos of hot water so we can enjoy coffe or tea. In my opinion, this is the best value for money place in ubud, it ticks all the "must have" boxes for me. 110k/night for 21 nights. This price is what we negotiated directly with the host for the long period, you won t find this listed anywhere at this price.

A great place to stay, Ayu, the owner is exceptional, such a a sweet person, she brought us breakfast every morning in our balcony, the rooms and garden were clean, a place that is well taken care off. Not far from restaurants and the middle of ubud, but nice that itโ€™s on a small street far from the trafic.

Ayu the host makes this place very welcoming and clean. You can feel this place is taken care of. She even invited guests for their family ceremony. Sheโ€™s thoughtful for the guests while giving us personal space. Also very helpful when I asked her something. I come back for second time stay here.

The owner is amazing, always smiling, helpful and you can have good deals for activities around from her! The place is peaceful and beautiful, very clean, with a little garden, with fan in the rooms which is completely sufficient, hot water for the shower, big and comfortable bed and good breakfast which is different every morning. For this price it is a very very good place to stay!

This accommodation by far the best I've ever stayed in my overall Indonesia trip. The warm and friendly owner was exceptional kind and welcoming, the delectable breakfast served right at my balcony table, the amazing mini garden just right outside my room that give a calm and serene atmosphere, the help I got to book a tour, the frivolous rental of motorcycle from the owner...wow oh wow...everything that I wanted was all there. One thing for sure, I will definitely be back here when I come to Bali as it is where I feel like home.

This place is really quiet but still close to Ubud main street, less than 10 minutes walking. It has a very nice little garden/temple with water and fishes. The owner and the staff are all extremely nice and always available to help, she found a drive to the airport for us and also suggested and booked for us an amazing cooking class! She also made very good balinese vegan breakfast. The room is pretty spacious, clean and with nice furniture; the bathroom as a good shower with really hot water (I almost burned myself!), which is not common in Indonesia. We would definitely stay there again!

The absolute sweetest people. They helped us with everything. Ayu made us feel at home โ€” she was like my mom. Incredible value for money. We stayed in one of the lower rooms, which has a nice garden with lots of birds and was hidden from the sun. The corner room we had felt nice and private. The room is kind of basic but has everything you need: private bathroom with hot water (nice shower with great water pressure), no A/C but a good fan with 5 settings, a small desk to work on, nice seating area outside, fresh fruits for breakfast every morning on our terrace, constant water refills for our drinking bottles, fresh tea every evening and morning... Ayu also took care of me while I was sick and brought some coconuts and food. She also took care of our laundry (obviously all for a small surcharge). Very lovely. Walking distance from the center, yet calm and quiet (aside from some activities in the community center sometimes next door). Recommended.

๐Ÿ˜  We stayed here in April 2023 at the beginning of our 6 month Asian adventure. 2 months have passed and this hotel still gives us reoccurring nightmares. Iโ€™ll start with the very few positives: 1. Great location in central Ubud, near the markets which are bustling during the day but are dead silent...
