Location is good and in a backalley, so a bit more quiet. Its a cheap price and for that definitely good. The fan is so powerful I had to use it on a lower setting to not freeze. Bathroom was clean with hot water. I also found some dead bugs under the blanket, but I removed that and the rest of the sheets were clean and i don’t think anything bit me. Still a bit unsettling for me after reading the other reviews. It is also quite dark, as mentioned. If you’re not planning on being in the room a lot, I think its a decent choice as any.

Bella House seemed to be a lovely traditional hotel style accommodation with a relaxing vibe in the middle of Ubud. I admire the family that run the business as they are kind. But, there is bedbugs in the lower floor room near the entrance. Otherwise: The rooms were spacious and the bathroom was clean and modern and there was a large fan to cool the room down. The staff were very friendly and made a delicious breakfast of fruits, breads and an egg based meal like omelet or scrabbled egg. The courtyard is lovely and rooms come with a porch to sit and relax. The only downside of the place was that the room downstairs was quite dark, and the bed unsatisfactory as we noticed bugs on the bed at night and got bites. The mattress is worn out. I would advise this place to use some sort of pest control in the room and replace the mattress/bed. Otherwise a fine place to stay, very close to monkey forest and shops in Ubud.

Its in the center of monkey forest, alot of shops, restaurants and mini markets near by walking distance from the market. At first i thought it will look alittle dreamy like the pictures from booking but it grew on me. Water pressure is not so great. No ac in the room, but theres a power led next to bed the fan isnt so bad i wasnt too hot. The room is great is u will be out all day. The family is great and very welcoming 🤍

Great location for ease of getting to central ubud and lots of food/bars nearby. Friendly staff and good service from the teams. Rooms comfortable and clean, could have done with an extra pillow which I was told wasn’t possible. Otherwise, no major complaints.
