Nice restaurant with decent Japanes food. We enjoyed the ramen and the katsu curry, tasted nice. Food was a reasonable price and staff were kind. Small issue was that food took a while, we have ourselves an hour here for lunch and had a spa booking quite soon after. Didn't expect the food to take 30/40 mins to prepare so got to our booking late and rushed to eat our food in 15 mins.

Very nice restaurant in Jl Dewi Sita, we booked our table through chope and arrived early which was no issue. we ordered several items from the menu and one of the special sashimi salmon which was excellent. The service was very good and attentive. Parking is a issue so we parked in central parking and got the free shuttle to drop us off nearby

Nice ambiance and service but sushi aren’t good. Small selection of fish. The fish served too warm. Soy sauce is very salty. Maybe other dishes are good here, but for sushi it’s better to go somewhere else.

Amazing place with delicious food. Due to my point of view, this is the best place with Japanese food options in Bali and Ubud. Working crew is very polite with a very good knowledge of English (pronunciation is awesome as well!), service is on the highest level. Cocktails and food were prepared very fast. Wonderful music, which matches perfectly the place and atmosphere around. Noise from the street doesn't disturb at all. Totally recommend!

We can highly recommend the restaurant! We had lunch there yesterday. The sushi and poke bowls are fantastic! The service is really attentive and the owner is super friendly. I can especially recommend the coffee after the meal. They have a great portafilter machine. Definitely not our last time here!

We loved all the Food we ordered here. The salmon Mango salad was so refreshing, the tonkotsu ramen was so tasty and not too salty, the hiyashi somen was so clean but also tasty. We loved the mocktail too, we had Ubud Voodoo and It was one of the best mocktail we had in Ubud.

The food shows promise, but fails a but short of the price tag’s aspirations. Service and tax not included, -1. The curry was seawater salty, lacking veg, but the chicken was cooked perfectly. There are a few pieces of veg for color but they, and especially the single potato, we’re undercooked. Somehow I got a single edamame on the bottom. Vegan curry also seemed good, plenty of veg, but too salty. The soup used was a blunt instrument instead of a delicate veggie broth, perhaps the standard pork bone is better. The biggest disappointment is the sushi. The lazy chefs escape - stuff everything with avocado. Tuna tastes like from a can, avocado! And I do mean everything. Unagi - avocado! Inari - rice and avocado! Tamago - avocado and it’s even an “omelette” form.

The food is good but are on a pricey side in Ubud. Having said that after comparing a few Japanese restaurants in Bali, this is considered good. The ambience is trendy and spacious while the waiting staff is friendly. I had the salmon avocado making and tonkatsu ramen. While the make is just average, but the ramen is good especially the chasiu and the texture of the ramen. The soup was just average. Good thing is that the restaurant has parking in front of it, as many places in Ubud Centre lacks that.

If you want some ramen 🍜 this is your place! Katsu curry was delicious as well, and the price was not crazy at all. Staff very friendly and you can pay with card without extra fee.

I’m not one to give a restaurant 5 stars but Kyoka in Ubud deserves it! The chicken salad was delicious - chicken was perfectly cooked and seasoned and the dressing was literally drinkable. The veggie sushi roll was also perfect - great value and very generous with the wasabi and ginger! My partner got the Katsu curry and he said it was one of the best he’s had. We both got a cocktail (Sayonara) which was unique and very tasty. Our server Anis was fantastic and very attentive. I could not recommend this place enough. If I’m ever back in Bali I’ll be itching to come back.

What a fantastic restaurant! I was walking around trying to find a place to cool down and have a refreshing drink and I am so happy I stumbled upon this little gem. The staff were absolutely amazing and extremely accommodating. My waitress saw how hot I was getting and even turned the fan on for me and placed it close by. I had the Inari sushi and the Ubud Voodoo drink and all I can say is WOW. 5 stars all round for Kyoka!

Great experience at Kyoka's last night. Amazing food and service. Gyoza were amazing. My mom loved her ramen and our favourite was the bitter chocolate creme brûlée we had at the end. Sooo good I could eat that all day 🤤 Matcha cheesecake was a bit strong for me but I'm not used to matcha so it could be just my taste. Definitely recommend.

Tried this new Japanese restaurant with my wife. Ummmmm, honestly speaking I never visit again. Gyoza (Pork dumpling): So small! Not juicy. The inside was cheap meat ball. Does this cost 75k? I felt typical tourist price. Tempura: It's like western fritter, not authentic Tempura. But taste was not bad. I'm glad if there're more vegetable options. Bibimbap: We ordered this since my wife really loves this. (Though this is Korean dish) The first impression was "rice is not hot..." The taste was so so. I prefer to Bibimbap of C9PCO (another Korean restaurant in Ubud). Service needs to be improved. There were more than 7 waiter/waitress including manager. However they just enjoyed chatting and rarely payed attention to us. We have to wait for a while till our glasses of water are refilled, though no other guests were there at that time. The bill was 320k including tax and service charge. Since the water was free, we didn't order any drink. So 320k for these 3 dishes. Ummmmm. Hope they improve quickly.

We love Kyoka Japanese Kitchen! Not only is the food excellent but the staff are incredibly friendly and go out of their way to make us feel special. They make fantastic cocktails with amazing attention to detail. My favourite is the Long Time Lychee. They look and taste amazing. We can’t wait to come back and see our friends again!

The best cocktails we’ve had in Bali so far! We only stopped for drinks as their happy hour goes all night (even though the menu has a time limit!) 2 for 1. I got the Sayonara which comes in a delicate bowl with the most delicious caramelised pineapple as a garnish. We also tried the Ohayogozaimasu, Nihon Blush & the frozen coco matcha. The Sayonara and the Nihon Blush were our favourites. Staff are super friendly and we were given delicious complimentary peanuts with roasted garlic. The open environment is rather peaceful for being so close to a busy street. They also do a nice job of keeping the air circulating so it is cool and breezy on a hot day. The food was lovely as well. We tried a variety of dishes including the gyoza, tempura, the sashimi, the curry, a salad, and the soba noodles. They also offer gluten-free items as well. The staff is very attentive and super friendly. There is a nice amount of space between tables so you have plenty of space and don’t feel crowded. It was lovely!
