Stopped by to check this place out. Nice little dark themed dive bar. The drinks were good and the prices fair for a high traffic tourist area. Very dark interior. Decor is skulls and coffins with a variety of art. Staff were pretty helpful. Location is good.

One of the most interesting bars that I have visited, we had a group of 7 people and we visited on a Friday night and they managed to find us a nice seating area and provide us with great service. The atmosphere, music and the decor were fantastic, we had great memories of this place, make sure you visit them if you love rock music.

I was told by my friend to visit this place for sure since I am a metalhead and we don't have such uniquely themed establishments in India. Their signature beer was delightful and the ambience was just absolutely amazing! What bothered me is that the bartender took my passport and kept it on the shelf with other drinks as some probable safety measure I suppose. I mean I understand Indians don't have the best reputation worldwide but I believed my Megadeth t-shirt would have held more significance than my ethnicity. Also I paid for my beer before getting it yet I was subjected to the kind of treatment as if I was going to run away without paying. Really loved the place and would've loved to stay there even longer but because of this experience I left after just one beer. If the establishment doesn't care about this or purposely intended to do this, too bad for them because they're not going to last long with this attitude.

An amazing alternative bar with interesting decoration and a huge selection of beers and cocktails.

This bar is awesome, cool deco and a good location in the center. Staff was amazing. Clean bathrooms. Only issue I had is that they have a $15 minimum when paying with a card. Puts you on the spot when you just want a beer.

Beware: "Un Crane" does NOT mean a pint. it means a €12 fancy skull cup that you MUST give a card of ID for. He will not give your ID back until you give his precious empty glasses back, OR pay him €20 each...

This bar has a very cool and unique look to it. It pretty much is a bar with coffins and bones all over the place lit up with black lights. The music here is good which is a nice change from most bars in the area. The only thing I don't like about this place is the prices. They have the coolest taps in town. Perfect place to take some friends to if they have never been.

This is the coolest pub I've ever been! The menu of draft beers were the best one I've found in Brussels. That was such a great experience. The pity was I found it on time to go to the airport. I would recommend that for sure!

Nice place to connect with ur spooky side, music is good, staff is goth. €10 for a beer is way too much imo. So be warned!

This time in Brussels I was celebrating my Stag Do with 18 friends. Absolutlelove it here! Awesome selection of beers and a funky selection of shots! Goth-Rock bar, the music matches. Translated as The Coffin. Dark, mysterious, gothic, quirky, atmospheric and dark! Don't miss out.

Sehr coole Bar mit interessantem Ambiente. Wir hatten dort einen sehr schönen Abend. Freundliche Bedienung, leckere Getränke und es war auch sehr gut besucht. Da waren wir bestimmt nicht das letzte Mal.

The service was really bad. The staff was really disrespectful. I asked the guy about a cocktail and he told me “do I have the face of someone that drinks cocktails?”. Not normal for such a place. The drinks and atmosphere was nice though the songs were boring when I went there.

This was my favorite spot on my Brussels vacation. Even came back multiple times. I loved the heavy rock and metal music and all the decor is so fun to look at. They had a great selection of beers and other fun drinks. I will return every time I am in Brussels!

One of my favourites in Brussels! You won’t need sunglasses inside since it is quite dark. Great music, skeletons, skulls, coffins, bats… And a big plus is that the owner probably speaks your language too, couldn’t feel more welcomed!

Family of four heavy metal fans from Finland, this place was definitely for us 😬 Music wasn’t that heavy, but that’s understandable, we appreciated the Korpiklaani we heard 🤘Full points from the decor. Also he cocktails were good and aptly named.

Spent too many nights rockin' out in this cavernous metal bar. Prices on the steeper side, because of the location just off the Grand Place. Took a girl there once on a date 5 years ago and we're still together :)

Nice décor and cool ambiance! Large selection of beers for all tastes. Sore point: the cocktails are perhaps not the best or at least the one I tried was extremely sweet (perhaps made with a syrup?). I was surprised not to find the Bloody Mary on the list or on request because not only would it seem very suitable for the place but it is one of those classic cocktails that every place should be able to make

Very nice place with good music for rock/heavy/metalheads. Bartenders are very friendly and the menu has lots of drinks for every taste (stronger and lighter beers). They do very good cocktails too for a reasonable price at Grand Place area! I would give 4 stars, but they require to make a 15 euros purchase for card payments. It's is good for groups, but not nice for lone travellers (have to buy 2 to 3 drinks to get to that). If you are wandering alone and want to have 1 or 2 beers, don't visit this place. Also I am not sure is it legal to require a 15e purchase for card payments. Might not be legal.

If you go alone I will advise not to. The bartender seats you where he wants like in restaurants. You need to spend at least 15€ to pay with card. I arrived (not drunk or anything strange, just quiet and polite) and he made me seat in the last room, all alone, so I just paid 6€ for 25cl of beer to not talk with anybody. I don't see the point on sitting people in a beer bar so they can't talk to each other. The bar tender, in any case, was not unpolite, but quite rude, like just sit me alone, my order, my money and bye. This is an opinion of a solo person, of course.

A 1 time try. This pub is unique in the seats and the tables. Also you can tey their special drinks

The "le cercueil" bar is a gothic-funeral- themed bar near the grand place. It's decorated with coffins, mourning items, bones etc. The drinks have original and morbid names. The bar was really fun and the looks detailed. The drinks taste are okay-ish. The music is more like mainstream rock music. But it's worth to visit and buy a "le Supreme de cadavre". For the entertainment I give it a 5/5 :)

i thought this place was really cool! the bartender was friendly and the decor/vibe was unique. cocktails were nice too, with funny names. i went earlier in the evening because i was afraid it would be super packed later on, so there was plenty of room to sit with some hard rock music playing (not too loud)

If you're into coffins, skulls, demons and vampires, this is your place. If you're into nice cocktails and beers, this is also your place. Pure coziness straight from the grave.

I don’t know much about beers, but we spent a nice evening here trying a couple of Belgian beers. The atmosphere and music are great.

Is it a tourist trap? I think so. Certainly not a locals' hangout, that's for sure. Is the decor kinda cheesy? Yes. Are the beers expensive? Yes, but you're spitting distance from the Grand Place so understandable. That being said, you can have a great time here. The beer list is pretty good, with breweries not often seen at other places around old town. If you like angry rock - think Disturbed or RATM - you'll love it here. Staff was really nice.

Death metal vibes but not over the top. Coffin tables and skeletons, the music isn't strictly hard core black metal, but a pretty good mix of rock. Feels like a Halloween decorated bar. The skull mugs are pretty cool, you have to leave your ID as a deposit if you drink out of one. Worth a visit for a beer.

Very small and dingy but the cocktails have excellent names. I had something like "p*ss on the cadaver" and it was simple but tasty enough. Not a fancy place but the cocktails are fun and good value.
