Navidya gets a 10/5 from me. It is located 10 mins' walk from Saheliyon ki Bari. The staff is extremely kind and courteous, and they explain each dish to you. They treat you like royalty. The Rajasthani platter, which was unlimited, is the tastiest that I have eaten so far. Each dish was yumm and had a unique flavor. I'm definitely coming back here again!

We reached the perfect restaurant to have our authentic Rajasthani thali (dal baati churma). Kudos to all staff for such amazing hospitality. The food was delicious. Marked as a must visit restaurant in my next Udaipur visit. Next time, I will definitely stay at their hotel.

Have a look at the thali. How many dishes here can really pass off as Rajasthani? Tomato soup, paneer, salad, rice, dal, aloo, tandoori/missi roti, gulaab jamun, paapad certainly won't make that cut. What can be really called as Rajasthani food was too little in number and was horribly made. While in Hyderabad, I and my wife had the opportunity to eat at Ohri's Jiva which offers Rajasthani food. So naturally, our expectations from the real Rajasthan (Udaipur) was very high. However, it was a journey and money wasted. The ambience is good. The staff is polite. But you won't remember either of it due to bad quality and overpriced food.

Do go for Rajasthani thali if you want to taste authentic rajasthani food. Comes with gatte ki sabzi, daal baati, kadhi, paneer, rice and soup. We tried the paneer tikka as well which was tasty. The impeccable service by Ram Lal ji made the dinner super special :) Would highly recommend this place.

Food: We visited this place on our first day of Udaipur and orderd Rajasthani Thali. The taste is amazing and the thali can be shared by 2. All the items like Daal Bati, churma,kersangri, kadhi, gatte ki sabzi had authentic taste. Aloo jeera was the best that I had till now. The only item I did not like much was Paneer sabzi as it was sweet and tomato coriander soup but again its subjective. Ambience: It was neither bad nor extra ordinarily amazing. Peaceful family restaurant with light music in the background which is soothing and refreshing. Staff: Staff was kind and helpful. They also let us know what is the authentic way of eating daal bati. Restaurant do not accept diners on Rajasthani thali however, dinners is accepted on ala carte which is a bit disappointing as people would want to try Rajasthani Thali when they are visiting Udaipur. It is recommended to visit this place at least once while visiting Udaipur and witness the authentic Rajasthani taste.

It's a crime if you are in Udaipur and not visit Navidya. Trust me when I say this is a true GEM 😍 by far the best restuarant in Udaipur. Dinning here is nothing less than a Royal experience kudos to the staff. I believe there were 4-5 staff and management employee checking if we are liking the experience. Long story short: food 10/10 service 10/10 ambience 10/10. Govind ji was great at service.

This was our 4th day in Udaipur and before we had lunch/dinner from lakeside hotels only after seeing so many positive reviews of 4.5 to 4.8... but it was only hype there.... In Navidya we ordered Punjabi thali... and it was extremely extremely tasty...all curries like chole, aloo, dal makhni, saag, pea curry, chutney.. also tomoto soup.. everything was perfect and with proper hygiene.... In our recent trip to Udaipur, This hotel was recommended by our cab driver, Mr Bhagawat Singh (Very polite, reliable and friendly. A definite recommend). The staff were very courteous and hospitable. A special mention has to be made of Ms.Lakshmi, Mr. Ramlal and Mr. Anuplal. The managers and the hostess made sure that we enjoyed the taste of Rajasthan food and took extra care to make sure we enjoyed the flavours of Rajasthan. The quality of food was excellent. Amazing service of whole staff and Govindbhai treat very well particularly to my daughter and served all items on table. I love and enjoy the service and food 🍲 very much. Hospitality names proved by them and you can get all options in breakfast. If any item you found become cold they serve new one with hot item. We called it bahubali 🍳☕🍞 breakfast

Rajasthani cuisine at its best! Every item in the thali is finger-licking delicious. The thali is almost impossible for one person to finish. The service is phenomenal and the atmosphere is peaceful. Loved the gatte ki sabji and dal bati.

Best restaurant near saheli bagh. We have plan to visit saheli bagh and take a lunch here. Somewhat costly, but price justifies its quality. Good ambient. Too many tiles awarded to hotel. Parking facility available. Very tasty and hygienic restaurant. Well manner staff.. RECOMMENDED. Rajasthani thali about Rs. 345 + Tax. A very nice place restaurant along with Amantra hotel as suggested by name near to Saheliyo-ki-bari. We had Rajasthani thali here which was really great. Service, quality, cleanliness and price all the parameters were descent. The staffs were really great. The place was quite peaceful with a soothing music in background. It felt great to be here, spend some time eating and talking after a tiring afternoon roaming around Udaipur.
