We were travelling from Kumbhalgarh to Kota, and we had lunch there, their hospitality had won our hearts. They were supposed to close by 4 PM, and we reached by 3:55, but still they served us and took extreme care. While leaving they also have some pakodes to us for our way. Our 7 year old son, wasn't supposed to have much, they didn't include his charges, that's such a great gesture... Simply amazing

Well on reading google reviews went their what I found waa ordinary gujrati food being served taste wise also nothing special about it on the contrary the sooji halwa they served as sweet dish in the thali was not fresh.What i wanted was rajasthani food and what they served was ordinary gujrati fòod.

Thali was good and had a lot of variety. The only thing which I didn't like is we need to ask for some items explicitly like chhaach. Rice also came very late. Also, a group adjacent to us was served some other special kind of chutney which was not served to us. I don't know why this kind of partiality if we all are paying same. Also, paneer dish was little sour. Rest all was really good in taste.

This has been the best dining experience in my stay in Udaipur. Located in the main market area and nearby the area with many hotels, this restaurant and its staff makes you feel like a royal family. They greet you with a smile, to tables all set with Thaali arranged with the small bowls in it. Then one after another each waiter (dressed in local attire sporting a pagdi) serve you delicious food. So many things you will be confused what to eat and end up eating much more than usual. The service head is very warm and friendly. They wash your hands at the table and have a classic bell near the door, which can be wrung by satisfied customers and when you ring it, all the staff loudly thank you for the appreciation. I would suggest tourists visiting Udaipur to also add this restaurant in your 'to visit' list

Being a food blogger we love to explore local food and places, during our recent trip to Udaipur we were at Udaipole looking for a place where we can have comfort and light food. We came across Rajwadi Thali and a restaurant which is hardly 200-300 metres away from the main circle. We tried their Thali where they served almost 20-25 varieties of food covering farsan to dessert everything, interiors of the place represents Rajasthani culture but the food was a mix of gujarati and Rajasthani cuisine. They have a unique concept in the restaurant that if you like the food you can ring a Rustic bell hanged in the entrance. Thali costs 300/- per person. Decent option for food when you are around Udaipole.

Nice atmosphere and nice place to hangout but the taste of the food was very awful. No salt in dal bati. Even butter milk was not good. Dhosa was unavailable though in the menu.

The worst of worst service. I request every person, please don't eat there. All service persons including supervisors were hiding them.For every item, we are to shout. They were not interested to fill the stomach of guest, they were only interested to earn money without serving. Supervisors spoke lia that items to prepare but as we speak strongly, the items came immediately!!!. Please never visit , please 🙏

There was only 1 couple eating when we reached we asked them to serve us just cucumber and carrot as salad which they served us after we completed lunch. Secondly we were served all curries and dal and it took them 15-20 mins to serve us roti while the entire curries dal all were cold. None of the food was tasty , we were served rice which was cooked and steamed again to serve us hot and that was still not completely soaked so they were with too much watery. Vegetables were too much oily and to serve rotis quickly we were offered rotis which were not toasted properly. Don't go to eat ...wastage of money ..instead go for NATRAJ as they serve thali which is economical as well as the taste of food is tasty.. Though I feel the rates of NATRAJ is even on a higher side but if u r looking for a thali resturant around this area NATRAJ would beba better choice .

The worst experience ever. The staff took 40 minutes to serve the sandwich, we ordered 2 sandwiches but they got only one. Inside the sandwich the cover of the cheese which is aluminium foil was stuck in the sandwich. Even the paratha was very dry. The only thing that was decent there was the pickle and water which was bottled. Don't waste your money by going there. Will never go there again.

The food here is affordable, it just tastes like what you eat at home. Here they serve Gujarati dishes and Rajasthani as well. You have a choice of what you want to have in your thal and what you don't. The staff, there were very polite and generous. They have a fixed price of 250 or something and you can eat unlimited in that amount means you can order dishes again and again as much you want but the part that I didn't like was that they didn't have buttermilk included in their thaal so you will have to order it separately. Other than that it was a really good place.

Very delicious and authentic taste. Unlimited thali with sweet, snack, lasoon chatni with full course. Great quality and hygenic. Awesome rajasthani thali lunch very close the city palace. We had lunch with family and it was very satisfying. Very tasty food, great prompt service and very polite and courteous staff. Need nothing more for a nice lunch after sightseeing.

Service was very poor. Seemed like servers weren't trained at all. Had to call manager twice to even ask for dishes as nobody (& I do mean nobody) was attending. Had gone for Rajasthani thali, but didn't felt like anything Rajasthani was there, khaman was not fresh, even they said it's moong daal halwa..but it was too grainy to be a moong daal halwa..either it was pure sooji halwa or a pinch of moong daal added to it. Food was quite normal. Nothing special about this place. The only thing I liked here was white kadhi!

Well visited this place second time. Food was ok and almost similar in most of thali restaurants. Things I thought missing was in Rajasthani thali chunk of daal baati should be there. In dal khichadi spices were uneven and on higher side. Price was 285 plus taxes. On exit they provided 15 percentage discount coupon on next visit. Overall food was ok but not bestest thali in town.

Based on my encounter with Rajwadi Thal, I strongly advise against dining at this establishment. The combination of abysmal service, unhygienic conditions, and lackluster food quality makes it an undesirable choice. We dine in around 5:15 PM and there was only two table occupied. After 1st order …they took long time to serve chapatis and even forget the order on later stage & arguing that we are not ordered. This type of behaviour never ever seen in my life. It’s my suggestion if you really running a restaurant then you should improve your service.

It was the first ever worst experience in Udaipur. I have tried so many places in Udaipur for dining but this i got attracted just by name n think of giving a try. But poor selection, they serve almost 20+ items thier way pf presenting thali was good but nothing was having taste at all. everything was served cold. This is my humble request to Rajwadi Thal please do not make people fool by name or presentation. People come Udaipur for some good memories but dont dive them this kind of experience as return gift.

I had dinner today here with my family. But we didn't like the taste over all axpected Fruit salad, moongdaal halwa, If you want to eat average taste food than you should go there.
