I stayed with my mom during Dushehra holidays. Located in the old city, it is close to all tourist places and markets. The service and food is excellent. They owners are too helpful. Reasonable taxi, auto service is provided. I had to cut short my trip by one day due to some emergency back home. They were too generous to refund one day rent too. Highly recommended.

Size of room as compared to charges not adequate. Food is good. Staffs are good. *If they arrange cabs for you make sure they shan't haggle you afterwards. They charge way more, once you reach your destination. And hotel staff will be on their side😪.

In my opinion, the most underrated hotel/property in Udaipur. The location of the hotel is just right if you are there to explore the old city. Almost each and every important place is within walking distance from this hotel. A fine view of Rang Sagar Lake is always visible from the hotel followed by at a far distance though but clearly visible enough, the most beautiful mountains of Aravali ranges. The staff is extremely courteous and will always deliver whatever you ask for. Their rooftop restaurant is also nice. However the breakfast options are limited.

Amazing hotel at an affordable price. It is located in front of Lake pichola and the view from the hotel is breathtaking. Located at a walking distance from all the major attractions of Udaipur like City palace, Jagdish temple and the main market. The rooms were near and clean. Service was also good. A rooftop cafe is available and you can enjoy 360 views from the roof. The good thing is that they allow early check-ins if there is an availability.

Very bad experience.. This hotel located in a muslim area... Staff behavior is very bad.. If you get late for five minutes.. You will not get your included breakfast... Restaurant guy behavior in pathetic.. They will not treat you well if you have included meal in your bookings.. They will only take care of you if you are outside visitor of the restaurant..

A great place to stay and easy walking distance to City Palace. Lovely food, staff always pleasant and helpful and a very friendly owner Saleem who will ensure that you get the most out of your visit. Highly recommend this family run hotel!

Had an amazing experience with this hotel. The room is very neat and clean. It is on the hill top and you get to see an amazing night view from the rooftop. The architecture of the hotel gives you a very traditional vibe. The location of the hotel is good but the road in front of the hotel gets heavy traffic every now and then. But you can walk around the city to avoid traffic congestion. The complimentary breakfast is good. The hotel management is worth mentioning. Mr. Abhay has helped us a lot with all the necessary information regarding local transport. The owner is a very warm person. All other staffs are also very friendly and helpful. Overall, we had a really comfortable and enjoyable experience. Looking forward to returning in the future.

The staff is very rude to customers. I don't recommend this place to anyone. Search for other hotels you can find good hotels with affordable options.

The manager cancelled our booking after we had already put our bags in the room, with no customer service attitude. He also forbid us to stay at the rooftop bar just because we were playing cards (!?) Very frustrating experience

We travel a lot and travelled almost all the parts of India. But the kind of hospitality we received in Mewari Villa, Udaipur is the best and one of its kind. 1. Room Price: Stayed here for 4 nights including Weekends. Spoke to the manger directly for the room reservation and got the rooms at a very decent price. The rooms are having the Royal Touch. 2. Hotel Location: Its a Hilltop Hotel and one of the best location near Lake Pichola, where one can have Calm, Serene and a 360° City view from the Rooftop. Rooftop is accessible both by stairs and the lift. Need to climb couple of steep stairs to earn the awesome experience of the Hotel. 3. The Owner: What an amazing person he is. Never seen such a grounded, humble, calm and welcoming person in my life. At the beginning, we thought he is a normal Hotel Staff. And throughout our stay he never made us felt as if he is the owner and always available to help the guests. He asked us for our suggestion, improvements and new ideas and offered us a surprise on our last day. 4. Staffs: All the staffs are very courteous, helpful and always available. The manager Abhay Singh Ji a very genuine person and helped us with our booking at a best price. And finally Durgaraam Ji, every-time he greets "Hukum" made us feel extra special and owned my heart. We have captured and shared a glimpse of our experience at Hotel Mewari Villa.

One of our rooms had no windows. The rooms were tiny and not well ventilated. The sheets were not really clean, same with the bathrooms. You have to climb some 3 flights of stairs to reach the hotel. The restaurant had loud music well past 10 pm. The only good thing is the view from the rooftop.

It was a pleasant experience over there specially the hospitality and the food as they provide pure jain and tasty non jain food as well . And view is magical over there.

The lake view is amazing. Good connectivity for major points. They arranged auto for site seeing. Mr. Abhay Singh ji, Mr. Durgaram ji and other staff helped a lot. Food was really delicious. Rooftop view is marvelous. Rooms were neat and clean.

Location is okay but the lake here is dirty. Don't expect any good view. Rooms were clean but small on the third floor. No adjustment fan in the bathroom. Need to climb some steps uphill to the hotel, so won't recommend it for aged persons. The food quality was amazing. The view from the restaurant gets better in the night.

Udaipir having been one of our last cities to visit in India, all I can say having now left the city is I'm 100% coming back! A main reason for wanting to come back was largely thanks to how friendly the staff were at Hotel Mewari Villa. We rented out the Deluxe King Suite and really got treated like Kings! The room was very nice and the views of the lake were incredibly beautiful! We had views overlooking the entire city and and an extremely spacious king sized bed + an additional small bed. The bathroom was very large and very clean. Staff was always ready for any request we sent their way such as room cleaning, laundry & water bottle top-ups. Always done with a smile on their faces and went out of their way to get it done for us! __ Last but surely not least, the roof top restaurant of which I've left a separate review just for that, was incredible! The convenience of simply being able to take the lift two floors up and have a panoramic view of the entire city and lake was just mind boggling! Let alone the food was soo tasty, I already miss it. We always went off of recommendations and never did they displease. Portions are very big and very affordable. This has been one of our best stays so far, and also most cost efficient ones, which comes to show you don't always have to spend a ton of money to have the best service! Thank you again to everyone @ Hotel Mewari who made our stay so memorable.

Rooms are clean. Staff are very supportive both Abhay Singh ji and Sajid and their team. Only problem is small portion need to be accessed by stairs. But the location and price is value for money.

Just by lake Pichhola.. you get a nice view over the lake, staff is helpful, they have a restaurant with good breakfast options. Though rooms can be cleaner. They were a little smelly. Not all rooms are ac and lake facing. Some are too Small too.

The hotel is good with the construction and amenities. But the major problem is parking. The rooms are spacious and well maintained. The view of Lake in the morning is good. It also has a rooftop restaurant.

You'll need to climb quite a lot of steps for reaching the hotel so it's not recommended for any aged people. The rooms were okay but the service is pretty bad especially when it comes to ordering food. They constantly messed up our orders and waited for over 1.5-2 hours before telling us that they won't be able to deliver some food items. Would not recommend staying here and checking with your travel agent in advance to change your booking if they have booked it already.

Budget Friendly hotel, rooms are ok not very spacious but manageable. The washroom was nice and clean. Hospitality of the housekeeping was good. Food is so so but one can enjoy roof top if he/she is ready to climp ladders.

Location of this hotel is very good. But, our stay could have been better if the bed and bed sheets were spider free. Not good for people with knee problem.

On a visit to Udaipur me and my family decided to stay in Mewari villa. Clean and hygienic rooms with a Fathe Sagar lake view. Attractions like city palace, Jagdish temple, Gongour ghat are very near. Jalsa a roof top restuarant food is amazing. Mr Mohammad Sajjad prepared us yummy food. Sunset view from the roof top is the best. Highly recommended for a stay.

It was an hectic experience to reach this location on bike, but after reaching the location, we forget all the trouble to reach this location because the accommodation, location and view is really worth. Restaurant is available on top floor and during my stay I saw many foreigners staying in the same place. No compromise on checkout time, you will be given only 20 extra minutes maximum.

I stayed with my brother in this hotel. It is located in a very good zone and it's really beautiful, it has a nice rooftop. In their restaurant we tried the best food we found in all our trip in India, a sweet Malai Kofta that we still remember from Barcelona. Thank you for all your attention, good service, good staff. Happy life.

Stayed in their biggest room and it had awesome view of the lake and the areas nearby. Hotel is clean and well maintained with supportive staff. It's on a hill and you have to climb a lot of stairs to reach it. Hotel staff took my mother to the hotel on a two wheeler whenever we came back to hotel and dropped as well through an alternate path. Restaurant staff needs to be reviewed though as the person managing mostly sounds rude.
