My husband and I, both from the USA, stayed here for two nights. Everything was satisfactory based on our expectations for Udaipur. The staff were largely friendly, courteous and responsive (plus easy to communicate in English). They even contacted us after we checked out to let us know we forgot a phone charger, which we appreciated very much! The room itself was great-we slept well in a relatively quiet room on the third floor and the hot water in the shower was a huge plus. We were here over New Years and it was a comfortable temperature inside. One thing that could have been better was more reliable WiFi (it only worked on the ground floor for us) but given our other experiences traveling in India this seemed pretty normal. Getting a rickshaw to/from the hotel was challenging because of ongoing construction and generally narrow roads so be prepared to walk ~5 min downhill from the Jagdish temple. Lastly, staff was uncharacteristically aggressive/quasi rude on cajoling us to fill out a Google review for this hotel which we found somewhat disconcerting (though we understand the need to market themselves and expand their online footprint). Despite this we had a great experience until that point.

Absolutely beautiful interior and exterior. The intricate details have been preserved excellently. We stayed in the family suite and were blown away by the size and the coziness of the room. The washroom is pretty big and clean. The staff is very polite and soft spoken. Always ready to help you. Special kudos to Bharat sir. The food is so tasty and reminiscent of good home food. The food portions are also big. Our best experience was staying in the terrace during the night and looking over the city and the stars. Loved the peace and quiet. The whole haveli gives a very warm feeling. Would definitely recommend for an authentic stay.

Located inside the bylanes which is a 2 minute walk from the Jagdish temple. Do not go by the reviews or hotel pics online,this place is a true heritage hotel with about 180years of history attached to it. Rooms are really cosy but not over the top plush but are comfortable and ornate with Rajasthani culture in every corner. The terrace has the best view in the area and is equally beautiful to chill and relaxin the evenings. All in all if your looking for a budget botique stay then I would highly recommend this property.

It was a beautiful Hotel & restaurant. Consist of giving and Heritage view. it's a prime location to visit all the places because it is near to every heritage places. Food so hygienic and healthy. Rooftop was outstanding it gives good snaps and morning and in the evening. It is also have Indian original Nagar Seth room.

Do not book this hotel even if this is the last hotel in Udaipur. I had a horrible experience here staying with my friends. I booked this hotel online and nowhere it was mentioned that it is in a dirty small gali. We booked a cab from the airport and the cab driver told us that he can't go to the hotel since no cabs can go there. Finally he dropped us about 200meters away from the hotel. We took a auto again from there. And God the shock we got when we saw the hotel! It looked like a abandoned old haveli. We didn't cancel the hotel at that time since it would have spoil our whole day plan. Just after we made the payment the people there started behaving very rudely. The man were really weird there. They kept staring at us from tip to toe. We were 4 girls and it was really scary for us to stay there. The rooms were really dirty with dirty linens. When we ask them to change they had an explanation for everything. The utensils that they used to serve the guest were super-dirty. They also keep checking if we have switched off the lights/fan of our washroom or not. I got a call to switch them off when my friend was bathing and someone even came and told us to do that again. For God sake, it's a hotel and not a hostel. They also kept adding extra breakfast and dinner to our booking and we ended up paying more.

It was really a nice stay.Typial indian heritage experience you will have. Hospitality of the staff was really good. They provide you the pick up facility. Complimentary Breakfast they provided was unbeatable. Rooms were neat and clean with all the facilities. They are very particular about cleanliness. Stay at this hotel is recommendable.

Awesome royal rooms in affordable price. Great staff and service of Bharatbhai. Feels also good while discuss with owner also. Breakfast was also tasty. Rooftop view is also super. Cleanliness is perfect! Almost every site scenes are very near from this hotel. And few are just walking steps away like citi palace.

Excellent stay at Shree Jagdish Mahal Heritage Hotel. Our trip was taken care of well according to our needs and plans. Special mention to Bharat Ji who took care of every small thing at any moment of the day. Totally homely atmosphere with tasty food. Quiet environment with a beautiful terrace. We were asked constantly if there were any issue. Walking distance from Jagdish temple. I would highly recommend the hotel to anyone who want a chilled stay at Udaipur, away from city hussle.

We had an amazing stay at this heritage property. It's 250 years old Haveli. We got very royal kind of feeling in the royal suite. Staff is kind and polite. Walking distance from the Jagdish temple and City palace. Recommended.

Heritage hotel but not clean rooms. Approach road is too small, you can't go by car. You have to take auto or walk upto 700 Meters to reach hotel. Roads are dirty. Service is also not good. There is no network for mobile in room because of big walls. WiFi is poor. Overall quality is not good for tourist. People want to experience heritage hotel with tight budget can go for it.
