Nice comfortable stay. Rooms are traditional with palace like look. Staff was quite friendly and helpful. Food is good. Improvements:- Place sanitizers at couple of places. Secondly can improve couple of more options in breakfast menu. Overall a great experience. Also they have 2 turtles at their place🙃

Stayed here for four nights. It's a beautiful haveli style hotel located very close to the City Palace and Old City. It is away from the hustle and bustle of the main tourist places yet very close to access. The rooms are perfect and the staff is super courteous and amazing. The owner of the hotel is a very friendly man as well. You get sufficient breakfast and dinner options as well. This is a thank you note to everyone here who made the stay in Udaipur special.

This hotel is situated 100 meter away from Citi Palace Museum entrance and located in nice area. Night Manager Mr. Hukum Singh was wonderful person and always pleasure to talk with. He really took very good care of us. Hotel room interior was very nice, beds were large and clean. There was no refrigerator in room. Break fast was amazing. We also tried dinner, it was very tasty. Overall we had wonderful stay.

This is my second stay at Hotel Mahendra Prakash (HMP) and it was as pleasant as the first time. The staff members Mahipal Singh and Dharampreet Singh made us feel at home. HMP does not feel like a hotel it feels like your second home. They are very honest and transparent in their dealings. The hotel is placed amidst the happening City Palace Road and there are a lot of wonderful handicraft and antique stores and walking distance from the famous Jagdish Temple and Bagore Ki Haveli. I can’t can’t say enough about this home away from home.

Beautiful Hotel with Amazing staff. This was our favourite hotel so far on our trip around Rajasthan. The hotel is immaculately clean, with a lady constantly cleaning to common spaces. The food in the restaurant is excellent and staff very attentive and friendly. The rooms are clean and comfortable with attractive soft furnishings and furniture. Can highly recommend this hotel to foreign tourists seeking an authentic experience with clean surroundings

Located near City palace, also walkable distance to several other tourist attractions. Nicely decorated property with a pretty large and well maintained swimming pool (although not very suitable for children, slightly deep, no lifebuoy available). Some part of the property is very old with a heritage building ambience. Decor of the newly built part of the property has the essence of the old architecture. All the staffs especially Mahipal ji and Hukum ji at reception, Priyanka at Restaurant, the cook and other supporting staffs are extremely well behaved and polite and are always at your service. Although they lack the polish of the five star hotel, you will definitely love them all. The owner of the property stays at the same place and you can have a good chat with him as well. There are two turtles roaming in the lawn, which all the children will love for sure. You can also enjoy live Santoor performance by the side of the pool in the morning. Food was tasty although breakfast menu was limited; but they will always try to make you satisfied. Overall, it was a pleasant stay and we will definitely recommend this hotel. Of course, there are certain limitations, but "pro"s are much more than the "con"s. Note: They close their restaurant by 10pm and switch off most of their lights in the property at night. So, if you are arriving late, please call them beforehand. Don't forget to order your dinner early.

Despite the fact that the staff in general is nice and the hotel has an authentic architecture, I am very disappointed with my stay at the hotel: the room and the bathroom were not clean, the towels were yellow, the sheets were very old, the water coming from the shower spills all over the bathroom, the food is not tasty (ketchup instead of tomato sauce), the bathroom finishes have been done with tape, the shower, the sink and the faucet with a thick layer of limestone and rust. I do not recommend this hotel.

It was a great stay for one night. It's a well maintained havelli building reflecting old architecture and values. We spent a good time there. Overall experience was amazing. Their staff is very kind and helpful. Food quality was also good. Very good cleanliness in room and bathroom also. The location is also good as it is just 500m away from City palace, 1km from Jagdish temple old city market. Car parking is available.

Hotel Mahendra Prakash beautiful Haveli converted into Hotel. Just awesome. A very nice property very near to City palace and lake pichola. The rooms are very spacious and clean. We had all the facilities for us. Friendly & Courteously people who treated us like family, providing us all the facilities. Special Thanks to Mr. Mahipalji & All Staff. Meeting the Owner Mr. Ajay Singh ji was a wonderful experience. Very Nice person. Hotel has a beautiful garden. The live santoor during our breakfast time being played near the swimming pool made us feel so relaxed. I would receommend this property for couple and family visit to Udaipur. Beautiful room with good installations, AC and fan. Nice little courtyard with grass and pool, and even a couple turtles running around. The owner is a total sweetheart, he was friendly from the beginning and allowed us to stay till the evening without surplus charge because our train is leaving at midnight. The restaurant staff were very friendly and attentive, and most of all, even though the hotel is situated alongside a busy road, it is totally quiet and peaceful. Next time we visit Udaipur, we will look no place else. Big thank you to the whole staff!

I visited Udaipur on 4th Nov 2022 and stayed for 3 days at Hotel Mahendra Prakash. I would rate this hotel 5 star because of the hospitality and ambience of the place. The room was very clean and well maintained. I especially enjoyed the breakfast every morning by the pool. They also host a musician every morning that makes your breakfast even more enjoyable. Special thanks to the manager Mr Mahipal for his lovely recommendations and warmly welcome. Dharampreet who handles the kitchen always made sure that we are getting the best food served to us. Really impressed with his hospitality. Thanks to Priyanka as well for serving us good food and Ramesh for helping us with the luggage. Lastly I want to congratulate the owners for maintaining such a beautiful place. If you're looking for a budgeted place with good food and ambience, HMP would be the best option.

Five stars to this beautiful hotel very closed to city palace. The room was nice and clean with a patio with a view of the swimming pool and garden. We like very much the food and everyone was very friendly and helpful. I really suggest this place to everyone who need to take a rest. Also the hotel have a massage room in the garden, I booked a massage at the reception desk for the same day and it was very good.

By far the best hotel we stayed in during our tour in Rajastan, we highly recommend it! Beautiful historic building with a quiet garden where you can relax next to a beautiful pool. The room was large, comfortable and spotless, very clean. Great staff, always very helpful, ready to accommodate any demands. We had a wonderful stay, thank you!

If it was possible to give this place more than 5 stars I would have. My partner and I fell in love with this hotel. This is the most well thought of and maintained hotel we stayed in India. The building is absolutely beautiful and the pool and garden area just made it a place we didn't want to leave. The breakfast was more than we could have asked for and the staff are most welcoming and helpful. Also, the location is great, it is close to everything yet not a bit of noise inside. Highly recommended! Pro tip - I'f you don't see availability online give them a call.

Highly recommend this hotel for families. It is located right at the center of the city. Palace is at a walking distance. Rooms are comfy and clean. Swimming pool is much better than big hotels. Don't expect variety in breakfast and In room dining. But this hotel is indeed value for money.

The most perfect hotel in Udaipur. The right word to describe it is: palace. Geniusly located in the center of all attractions. And when you enter the beautiful courtyard you hear the lapping of the pool water and the sounds of a sitar playing. The service and kindness are among the highest in the world!!! And we travel a lot. The owners are: Ajay Singh & Anupama Singh and they are great hosts and love people, cordial and explain what to do and where and save you time. The restaurant is clean, full of flavors and aromas and you adjust the degree of spiciness to your taste. The owner has sweet turtles to feed that have been with him for 25 years. And I didn't even have time to tell about the large and pleasant rooms. A huge pampering shower and a balcony overlooking the inner courtyard. The noise and bustle stays outside this private palace. We would have stayed if we could. And of course we will return. At the reception Mili gwejar & Hukam Singh Bhupendra Sinkh who helped us feel at home.

This is by far the best hotel that I have stayed in and I can say this with utmost honesty. The location is right at the heart of the city. The place is very well kept. Neat and clean. Be it the bedsheets, the rooms, the gallery, every single area is really well maintained. I especially loved warmth coming from each and every member of the staff. Be it Dharampreet, who always served us food with extra love and a lovely smile, or be it the manager Mr Mahipal who was a big help to us, guiding us at every step of our journey with his lovely recommendations and insights. I would like to extend my heartiest thanks to the owner as well Mr Ajay and Mrs Anupama for maintaining such a beautiful place and showing us nothing but love and warmth in every interaction with had with them. Got amazing treatment when arrived..... The food was awesome....Staff was Very Very Very Very Very Kind and friendly especially to children..... Rooms are very huge and Spacious and Very Very Very Very Clean.... Bathrooms are also very clean....Front reception will even help you what to visit and when.....I would think this place should receive a 💯 out of 5. Coming from Hyderabad.... Would Definitely Visit Again.

Quality ...Super.... Restaurant is very small but Good food... Breakfast spread is limited, that need to be increase. Overall no regrets at all.HIGHLY SUGGESTED....Two small tortoise is an added attraction for kids.

My friend and me spend 2 nights in the hotel and It has been the best hotel in all of india that we have been to. me and my friend felt like home. the beds were very comfortable and the room very celan. the food was delicious (the best was the tika masala😝) The garden was very nice and there were also turtles. I want to make a special mention to Meli and Manipal. They have made our stay feel like home. They helped us order a taxi, they recommended places to visit and eat, always very attentive. Meli helped me to wear the Saree that I bought. We had a wonderful few days at the hotel. We will repeat without a doubt! Thanks for everything to the hotel team. We hope to see you soon!
