Ambrai ghat is very good to watch the sunset. There is Rs 20 ticket to access the ghat. It has an old temple inside and also has a graffiti wall a good photo point. Cleanliness wise it can be a little better and can be maintained a little better.

My favourite spot in Udaipur. Peaceful place to watch sunset and spend evening. Great ambience. It’s calm and quiet. Has good restaurants and stays nearby. There is a temple inside. Ghat closes when the temple is closed. Reach around 5pm. Can spend 1-2 hours, watch sunset and night view of city palace.

Sit at the stairs of Ambrai Ghat which extends into the Lake Pichola. Dip your feet into the water while having a breathtaking view of the lake. I went late evening to this place and from the sunset till the city got lit up. A really pleasant and soothing experience.

You know how you want some place in your city where you can just go , sit and take in the view. This is one of the place and udaipur has so many of these. The way which leads here is very narrow and had a market around it. You will find all kind of shops , cafes and restaurants. Or you can just come to this point and spend your evening looking at the water and the view. No entry tickets

This should be a must visit place on your list. Very quite and clam to spend sometime during sunset or even after sunset. Lake pichola looks beautiful during night. Though I was here on a weekend but the place wasn't crowded and ticket price of 10/- rupee is too less. It was well maintained and clean. Do have dinner at Ambrai restaurant when you are here.

Small but peaceful place to sit and enjoy the view of Lake Pichola.😍😍😍 People go there for pre wedding photoshoot. The entry to the ghat will cost you around 20 rupees for an hour but if you are carrying camera then it will cost you extra. There is a very old temple and the walls are covered with very huge graffitis.😍😍😍 Very clean and beautiful place. You have to visit once.

The lake presents a captivating spectacle at night with vibrant lights resembling glowing diyas. Surrounding it, numerous cozy cafes provide a charming atmosphere. Adjacent street stalls offer a variety of goods, from traditional Rajasthani handlooms to clothing and fridge magnets. Regrettably, the water quality is subpar, emitting an unpleasant odor. Urging the government to prioritize hygiene, it's disheartening to witness this otherwise lively location left unattended. Despite this setback, the lake remains a bustling spot, drawing crowds and tourists alike.

There were more local people here snacking and just relaxing than there were tourists. It is a very tranquil spot and a great place to view the activity on the lake and the beautiful buildings over the other side.

It's an ok place. It's just another ghat among so many in Udaipur. No special historical site or natural site to visit here. Though the paintings on walls are great and you can click a few pictures there. Also there is a restaurant and hotel at the ghat if you feel hungry. And also there is special provision for wedding photography and photos here come amazing.

Such a soothing View from this Ghat. The entry costs you 20 rps and you can sit for unlimited hours. Best views are captured during Night only and it's opened till 10pm only now people sit together and play guitar, Vibe with each other. You can feel the sound of flowing water when it's quiet 💯. And the view of Majestic City palace you get from here is so pretty 😍.

Beautiful place to visit while your trip to Udaipur, a must visit place during evening time as you will experience the beauty of this place. You will have to buy entry tickets and also if you are planning for any photo session or pre wedding you have to pay extra, depends on the camera that you are using. Many couples and photographers recommend this place for pre wedding photography due to its beauty and background. This place is located on the banks of beautiful Lake Pichola and opposite to the City Palace.

I was staying at Hotel lake pichhola and within 200 mtrs situated this beautiful ghat called Ambrai ghat. You will get 180 degree view of Lake pichhola and beautiful ducks and mesmerizing city palace view. You can visit ghat anytime and have fun with you friends. There is also a restaurant with name of Ambrai restaurant and you can get good food there and crowd as well. Best time to visit is around sunset and lunch hours

It is a wonderful place to visit with family, friends or only 2 of you. Historical place and famous place in udaipur for locals as well as tourists. Just feel its beauty by soaking in it and enjoy its awesome view, can capture some too. The city palace and Taj hotel views were too good and also it's one of the oldest ghat in history, very clear and calm. Try to go before sunset, you will definitely enjoy it I can guarantee you. Highly recommended from my side.

Ambrai ghat is very beautiful . The entry fee of ambrai ghat is just rupees 10 only ...the ghat itself is small but you can see the lake and City palace across lake from it ...they have given a special place to move forward to lake and take pics ... Specially the night view is amazing when it's Lit up beautifully .... There is ambrai hotel and restaurant where u can buy something to eat and sit enjoying the view ... Again night view of lights is mesmerizing specifically ...

A must visit , when you are in Udaipur. Don't take your car. Use a two wheeler or an auto. There is a Rupee 200 fee for using a camera and a Rs 10 entry fee. Prefer evening or early morning if you want to shoot pictures

  • 5/5 Ghumakkad D. 1 year ago on Google
Probably the best ghat in Udaipur. Perfect for photo shoots as you've got beautiful city views as the backdrop. If not for the views, drop by after 4 pm, dip your feet in the water and just chill. Highly recommended!!!

It is one of the most beautiful and scenic that in Udaipur. There is an entry ticket and an extra ticket if you are bringing a camera. The view was breathtaking and it can only be experienced when you are here in person. So if you are exploring Udaipur do add this place to your list.

A cool and calm place to find peace. Night view is amazing. Entry charge is 10 or 20 rupees that can be paid in cash or using paytm. Avoid 4 wheeler as it can stuck in the way.

😸 Ambrai Ghat is no doubt very beautiful and serene to witness 😸 It's one of the main attractions among the tourists in Udaipur 😸 It's under some private property so they charge an entry fee Rs. 10/- which is fine but when we went their, we were asked to submit our phones in their locker 😡 😸 And if we wanted to take the phones inside, they were charging Rs. 200 /- per phone which is insane 😸 I mean they have just commercialized the property and charge so much just for phones 😸 It's a good and beautiful ghat for pictures and reels if you are ready to give the money 💰 for sure enjoy the views !

I recently visited Ambrai Ghat in Udaipur, and it was a mesmerizing experience. The entrance fee of Rs 10 is quite reasonable, and it is worth it to see the stunning view of the iconic City Palace and Lake Pichola, and the sunset view from this spot is breathtaking. The presence of an old temple inside the ghat adds a spiritual touch to the ambiance of the place, making it an ideal spot for those seeking some peace and quiet. The temple is well-maintained, and it is a must-visit for those interested in exploring the local culture. The graffiti on the walls of Ambrai Ghat adds a creative touch to the overall ambiance of the place, and it is a popular spot for photography enthusiasts. The ghat is clean and well-kept, with beautiful gardens and seating areas to relax and enjoy the stunning view. The food served at the restaurants near Ambrai Ghat is excellent, with a range of dishes to choose from. The staff is attentive and friendly, ensuring that the customers have a comfortable and enjoyable experience. Overall, Ambrai Ghat is a great spot to spend a relaxing evening, while exploring the local culture and enjoying the stunning view of Lake Pichola and City Palace. If you're looking for a peaceful spot to unwind in Udaipur, Ambrai Ghat is definitely worth visiting.

If you come to Udaipur, I highly suggest you visit Ambrai Ghat. Overseeing the beautiful Lake Pichola, this ghat is one of the best in Udaipur. It is clean and well maintained. There is a temple that you could visit as well. I highly suggest you to come around dusk and sit till the sunset. Udaiput at night on Lake Pichola is a sight to behold. Also, please do not think of coming here by car. Get a two wheeler. The roads are extremely narrow leading to Ambrai Ghat. Entry will cost INR 20 per head.
