Dr. Peace Jose, not qualified enough to diagnose and treat patients. You will leave the room feeling devastated. After she pretends to “listen”’ to you and doodle on some scrap of paper lying in front of her (which she throws away the second you leave the room) , she’ll shower you with her unethical judgements. Do your loved ones and yourself a favor and find a psychiatrist who actually hears you out with the intention of helping you recover. This person is basically doing a wonderful job of wasting your precious time. Also, before you put yourself in a vulnerable position and open up to her with your personal information , think twice, because she loves gossiping about confidential patient information to others. If you don’t want to add more mental trauma to your life, PLEASE don’t go to her.

I had done my MSW internship at Nair's hospital. It was a great learning experience for me. All the staffs were very cooperative and helpful. The one month of internship period was totally an engaging one. I had poster presentations, seminar presentations, organising creative sessions and group activities for the patients, pamphlet preparation, case history presentation etc. There were three social workers and they guide and help us to integrate our theoretical learning into practice. The hospital also provide classes to the interns by doctors and clinical psychologists on various psychiatric disorders.Nair's hospital is one of the best institution where one can do the MSW internship.

Very Good hospital. I believe it is run by Dr Chandrasekharan and his son Vishnu, though I'm not aware of the other details about the top management. The father-son duo are extremely good doctors and very caring people. Unfortunately, these two gentlemen are a microscopic minority in the medical field which is heavily controlled by unscrupulous and money-minded doctors, especially in the psychiatric field. On a general note, the individuals in the medical profession normally behave like typical strike-happy trade unions, while dealing with issues related to medical negligence and don't give two hoots about the affected patients and their families. To give a positive opinion, I believe these two gentlemen do not fall into the above-mentioned category, and give greater importance to their work. I'm writing this review for my nephew who was a patient in this hospital. He used to suffer from severe depression and mania, due to love failure and job-related issues. We used to frequently change various hospitals due to poor treatment, but this hospital showed us that there are still hospitals in this country that actually care about their patients, and are not merely cash robbing organizations. My nephew has got wonderful treatment from this hospital, and he is quite fine now. He leads a very normal life now without any kind of worries. Even though he is transferred back to Telangana, he fondly remembers this hospital. Thank you Nair's hospital, always keep up the good work. 👍

I had a wonderful experience in Nair's hospital.. As an aspiring social worker, It was an immense pleasure to work with such a wonderful team. Also, we would like to say that here the patients are not locked up they are considered and cared in the most suitable way. There is no hierarchy difference, between the staffs everyone is free to share their suggestions. Once again Thank You so much team for guiding and helping us.

Very bad service from dr tc vishnu. We went from long way to see him and he treated us verybad. Very disappointed with him . A psychiatrist requires the ability to listen to their patients but he doesn’t have that ability very sad to see him as a doctor . Never ever visit that hospital again 👎🏼

My internship at Nair's Hospital has been the most rewarding and motivational experiences I have had during my time as a psychology student. With such compassionate and supportive mentors, this experience has helped me to learn a lot of new things such as case history taking, mental status examination, to administer and score MCMI, Sentence Completion Test and to administer relaxation techniques etc.

My mother had suicidal tendency and varing mood swings. She was previously under treatment at MTH.Off late her suicidal tendencies had increased and we decided to admit her at Nair's Hospital due to the fact that it was a Psychiatric Speciality Hospital and general patients were not admitted there. We consulted Dr Vishnu Sir (MD Psychiatry) who is also the son of Dr Nair Sir.My mother was admitted and over the course of days, there was significant improvement in her mood all because of Dr Vishnu Sir and Team as well as the prompt and kind Sisters attention. At the Hospital my mother also bonded with other patients and in the course of 10 days, my mother almost completely recovered and was discharged. We had stayed at the Hospital for almost 11 days in an A.C room, despite that the total bill also was affordable.I am pretty sure at any other private hospital, the bill would have been double or triple the rate.Dr Vishnu Sir is more like a friendly and caring and humble doctor as well all the other doctor's and staff with Sir too were very nice .I strongly recommend Visiting Dr Vishnu Sir and Nair's Hospital for people and families having psychiatric issues with their loved once. As the saying goes only a happy stable mind and heart can spread happiness to this world and Dr Vishnu Sir and Nair's Hospital have definitely made my mother stable and happy.

I had a really good experience while doing my internship at Nair’s Hospital. The doctors, psychologists, counselors, social workers, and all the other staff were very helpful and supportive. The constant supervision from their side helped me a lot and I believe after the internship I’ve gotten better at taking case history and mental status examinations. Apart from this, the lecture classes provided were also very useful and helped me gain more knowledge concerning psychopathology, psychological assessments, psychological interventions, and more. I was really satisfied with my internship here.

I had the worst experience there. I went this hospital which is specialised in mental health and psychological conditions with my friend for treatment for the same mentioned above ..I was so depressed by the behaviour of the receptionist working there! Very unprofessional and rude attitude made us to leave the hospital as soon as possible!!!!!!

My motivator and inspiration - Psychologist Chandana ma'am. She has been a great support in my mood swings and helped me in recovering from the worst stages of my life. I get a sisterly care and attention from ma'am with whom I can share anything without hesitation. She's a strong guiding force and an admirable personality whom I have ever met. Thank you so much ma'am for supporting......❤️❤💕💕️✨️✨️

Very unprofessional doctors without ethics , only money minded . Uneducated staffs , very dissapointed . Better to visit other hospitals than going here and ruining your own mental health.

I have not personally visited this place but I would like to say this is a perfect place to get treated ,the team is very experienced and the diagnosis related to psychological conditions are very accurate . I think the society to should take away the social stigma related to mental illness and definitely take the people who require help to such good hospitals .🤗🤗

I went for marriage counselling. There was a junior doctor who called my already separated wife initially. Then called me as she left. He was very hostile towards me and treated me like I was some drug addict, and then addressed the grief stricken me as an insane. It took the senior doctor to analyse the situation correctly and decipher what the real issue was. But by then the wife and her parents were noncooperative for furthering the session. I had taken great pain to get them there to give a last try. Because of the junior doctor's amateur diagnosis they left the session and eventually, ended in a divorce. I'll never forget the doctor. He asked me to reveal my personal bank records, client list of my start-up etc. He was persuasive and wouldn't let me go without showing him such personal records. When I hesitated he seconded my wife's faulty claims that I don't provide for her. Finally, I had to reveal that I do make money. In an hour with the hospital my whole life changed. That hospital is solely responsible for my divorce. Just because a beautiful girl makes a claim, the doctor forgot his ethics. You've no idea how much my life was ruined because of your lack of professionalism. I'm not even entertaining the thought of suing you, coz I don't ever wanna see that doctor's face again.

The internship at Nair's hospital was really fruitful. I had done a three-month internship at this hospital. The staff was cooperative and helpful without hesitation; they cleared all my doubts. This internship enabled me to understand more things in psychiatry settings: case history taking, mental status examination, experience inpatient rounds, etc. My three-month internship at Nair's hospital was really useful for me.

The front offices staffs are very irresponsible and they don't know how treat the peoples who comes to hospital. It is really disappoint me and my father. They have no time to know what we want, they don't ask us about our visit to the hospital. Good hospital as I was there for about 14 days last year. Dr Vishnu and team tool care of me very well and now I am almost fully recovered..Only area of improvement if your canteen. In case if it's a little more hygienic..just treat it as a feedback and not a complaint Dr. Regards Sandeep Menon

Very narrow and selfish state of mind. Went to get medicine in an emergency situation. Only 5 pills were denied on the sole reason of prescription from a doctor not from their hospital. Pathetic. Hope they get treated with some doses of humanity too.

I have visited Nair's hospital with my cousin for a psychotherapy. We had a very good experience. The staffs over there are very compassionate especially Dr. Chandana, clinical psychologist. She helped my cousin a lot to get over the hard time through spectacular counseling sessions. With no doubt, I can say she is the best clinical psychologist.
