The experience was not as expected based on the general reviews received from Google and other portals. The room walls had issues with fungus and water leakage, and there was a spider inside the room. However, the breakfast was good, and the service was satisfactory. The management might consider giving the rooms a facelift in addition to the reception area. The reception staff were friendly and supportive

Rooms were clean. Food and service is very good. However, I reserved the room (deluxe) particularly because it had king size bed which we needed for our family with 2 small kids. But it turned out it was queen size bed. When I raised the complaint with the hotel, the response I got is that they call it king bed and so it is what it is. So, if you are looking for good service/food and clean rooms, this is a good option but don’t go with it if you are choosing because it has king bed. Apparently they can come with their own size for king bed!!

Stayed for a total of 2 nights at the Samanvay luxury boutique hotel and we loved every moment of the stay. Rooms are spacious and well laid out. The washroom is really good with biotique products. The staff are courteous, very friendly, extremely helpful and the service is beyond 5 star. The breakfast is a good spread of vegetarian cuisine and the food is really good. They even have the famous MTR 1924 restaurant in their premises. Overall I would say this is one of the best hotels in Udupi. I would recommend it anyday to family and friends.

We checked into Samanvay hotel on 26th November Sunday. We were warmly welcomed at the reception with a welcome drink. Host Tejas escorted us to our room and explained the room amenities very well. I must say the staff is very courteous and delivered exceptional service. Breakfast was delicious. Overall we had a great experience. I stayed in the hotel during my conference in Oct 2023. Located very near to Udupi Bus stand, the ambience of the hotel is absolutely fantastic. The rooms are well maintained with modern look and technology. Staff are well behaved and very helpful. They also arrange for cabs for local sightseeing and transport. Their Satvik food was a delight to eat. Overall, a 5 star experience.

Blown away with their wonderful hospitality. The rooms were spacious and clean. The breakfast spread was excellent with so many local authentic dishes cooked only in coconut oil or ghee. And everyday they served so many different kind of dishes for the breakfast. Evening they served Hi tea and snacks. In the ground floor they had MTR (South Indian) and Pakshala ( North Indian) restaurants. The hotel is in the center of the city. The admin staff and all the other staff including the door security (dont know their names) were very very polite. When in Udupi think no further, just book your stay in this hotel.

I visited with my family including my 85 year old mother and two kids. This hotel offers you everything that you would expect from a luxuriour property. Very well-behaved staff members and they ensure to keep you happy right from the check-in to check-out. Enough parking space, excellent location, spacious and well decorated reception area, on-time service, very good breakfast, mini portions that give you opportunity to try everything. I recommend this hotel for everyone who is looking for excellent service.

Wonderful little find along the Malabar Coast on our way from Coorg to Goa. The staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful getting us settled in. The cafe on the 2nd floor was very nice and served excellent tea, coffee and snacks. Our rooms were spacious and clean and everything worked well. Great place to stay with great breakfast spread in the morning.

An excellent place to stay in Udupi. They have an amazing staff, special mention about the manager, Mr Robin who took special care of the guests be it in the dining area or during check out. The breakfast spread is just out of the world. Though there is an MTR hotel just outside, I will strongly recommend the in house breakfast. The Mangalore buns are simply amazing, especially when they are just out of the oven

An excellent hotel. But the rate is slightly on the higher side. The whole premises is neat and clean and the furniture is superb. At times, the cupboards smell unpleasant and the management may check for the reason. The service is very good, the staff is highly obliging and courteous. The added advantage is that the hotel offers early check in and late checkout facilities at an extra cost. The breakfast at the in-house restaurant, which is pure vegetarian without onion and garlic, is delicious and the spread includes many steam cooked items also. On the ground floor, MTR has an outlet, which also serves the popular Udupi delicacies. Worth recommending.

If you want to feel like a king book it. It is the best hotel at Udupi. Their service is top notch. The quality of food is superb. The service is unparalleled. One of my best experiences at a hotel.

This place is must visit for vegetarians as it offers a lot of varieties in breakfast buffet. Food taste and quality also caters to health conscious people. Rooms are super clean. The reception was soothing as they offered mint drink as soon as we reached. Robin in the reception was very cordial. We ordered food from Zomato and the hotel person delivered it to our room.

We have booked two rooms and one room came with extra bed. The hospitality was great. Were welcomed by lemon drink. The place is pure vegetarian and food is great. They have MTR and pakshala restaurant as well in the premises. Very clean rooms and the facilities were good.

Best stay for pure vegetarian satvik people. The restaurant doesn't use onion and garlic at all in any of their dishes. It's all purely Jain food. Service was really commendable. Rooms were very near and clean. Loved staying. Highly recommended.

It is a very nice hotel. They arranged a cab from Mangalore airport to the hotel. They received us with a nice lemon juice and a wet towel as it was so humid when we visited. Rooms were too spacious and room service was good. It is a very pure vegetarian hotel which we find less in udipi. Food u will get with a delay of 20mins because they prepare everything freshly with no onion, no garlic. If u prefer any Chinese you can visit Saffron or other varieties you have MTR restaurant. Krishna temple is less than 2kms it's 40-50 rupees in auto and malpe beach around 9-10 kms costs u about 180-200. This hotel is good for any vegetarian food lovers.

Hitech hotel, with all amenities and good parking space. Rooms are spacious and very clean. The only disadvantage is they don't have in-house restaurant but they serve their daily breakfast buffet in a open floor which becomes crowed during breakfast, as the space is small. The breakfast was ok not great. Adjacent to this hotel their is MTR and saffron restaurant they serve food all day. Overall a good stay

an excellent hotel located close to the center of Udupi. Wonderful service, generous breakfast. The hotel is located about 3.2 kms from the Sri Krishna temple - a short ride by auto-rickshaw. The staff were extremely polite and helpful. Every request was attended to and every query was answered politely. The breakfast was an excellent spread. Dosai was offered every morning freshly made, as was tea and coffee. The room was spacious, the bathroom was modern and clean, and the room was well fitted out, including a kettle, and tea bags, bottled water etc. were replenished daily. The food menu for room service was very good and reasonably priced. The MTR restaurant located down below was a huge bonus. The overall ambience was pleasing, as was the neighbourhood. I'd strongly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to visit and stay in the Udupi region.

This hotel is located centrally and is in close proximity to the Krishna temple and other key attractions. The room was large, comfortable, and tidy, with a sofa and office table. The food and service were great as well. The hotel also houses MTR and Saffron restaurant, which is very convenient for customers to dine out as well. The staffs were friendly and helpful. Overall, it was a great experience.

Decent hotel. Seemed a bit pricey. The hotel has a 2pm check-in policy. We arrived around 1130 and were told an early check in price of 1250 would need to be forked out. Was a bit disappointed as many top hotels usually give allowance for an early check in. However, after an hour's wait we were allowed to check in without extra charges. Rooms were clean but had a distinct smell of whatever cleaner they'd used to sanitise the room. The staff were very patient and answered all our questions.

Everything about the hotel is perfect. We have visited so many places and hotels, Samanvay does not stand any less than a 5-Star hotel in regards to spacious rooms, hospitality and service. Complimentary breakfast buffet is just so good. They check on you while you eat snd serve you before you run out of food on your plate. All the food items in the hotel is pure Satvik food[no onion no garlic]. Though we have MTR just beside the hotel we preferred taking food here only. From receiving us with a cold towel early in the morning to seeing us and our luggage off after 3 days to arranging a excellent taxi to visit Kollur and Murudeswar....everything was just perfect. Just 5-10 mins away from KrishnaMutt, autos are available as soon as we step out. Would not think of visiting any other hotel when in Udupi.

The hotel has taken 100 percent payment in advance. However, ac was not working at all in the room. After repeated requests they allowed to shift to another room that too late at night. Restaurant ac and fans not working. Restaurant staff was not bothered at all. If you charge exhorbitant amount please ensure that basic services are met. Pathetic experience. Won't recommend this hotel.

Can say one of the best luxurious hotels in Udupi. Rooms and services are good. Not satisfied with their restaurant as they operated with fans though it is AC which was having two internal restaurants.South&North flavoured. The MTR(South)was closed very early around 8.30pm that day. The other one North was non-spicy. Food&Ambience was good except AC. Free WiFi/Breakfast/Iron box&stand available with no cost.

Stayed here for two days with two families, rooms are neat and staff is humble&very helpful. Breakfast spread is good. Place is near to sri krishna temple, 5-7 mins away. Easy to find autorickshaws. MTR restaurant is in the building attached to the hotel.

Nice hotel. Well planned room. They serve bf only. Other meals one need to order from swiggy. There are cpl of restaurants in next bldg. Good for stay for a night or 2 irrespective of holidays or business.

This is an awesome place, very large and clean rooms. I loved the detox water that is kept near the lifts lobby. Ms Ashwini was very courteous and helpful. MTR and Saffron restaurants are in the same building so you can relish food here. The complimentary breakfast served was delicious.
