The property is strategically located at the shore of the Nile River with a seren and beautiful and calming greenery. Its been recently refurbished and a great place to chill and hang for the weekend. Great for business trips, a small group of friends, family, and travelers to escape to, to connect with nature and the famous Nile River. A solitude place to unwine from the bustle of city living! There are 3 houses on this 8 acre plot. The main house that has 2 bedrooms; the master bedroom and the other bedroom that can sleep 5 people comfortably that's if you don't mind privacy. The birders cottage faces the trees and located in an area suitable for those who are into bird watching and lastly, the River cottage which is my favourite 😀 The front of the house faces the nile. It's a great view from the bed if the curtains are open. Simply breath taking. The cottage has a bathroom located on the outside literally giving you the feel of showering in the middle of a forest because it has no roof. You get to enjoy your shower while gazing at the nile or the stars 🌟 Lastly, they have a pool, a bar and right next to it is the bond fire set up that we got to enjoy every night while we were there. Wifi is available in all the cottages. Please note that there are no TVs on this property which allows you to unplug. This is a self service property so guests are expected to prepare their own meals or arrange either the property to fix their dinners. Alternatively, guests can drop by at Kipling Lodge for their meals and return to the property to rest. Great location for those looking to take a break from the city life and enjoy what nature has to offer 😀!

One of the most beautiful places on planet 🌍! YOU MUST GO! Right by the Nile (don't worry, no 🐊), with 2 access points to go for a swim, and endless lush greenery around. The cottages are pristine and super well equipped, the staff is super friendly and helpful at any time (Steven is a total ⭐). It's couple friendly or family friendly or kids friendly. It's just a slice of heaven on earth. Thank you Saranac on the Nile for giving me exactly what I needed without knowing I needed it. I'll come back 🔜!!!

Very beautiful environment .......calm breeze by the river nile.......sweet chattering of birds.........green land scape is lovely for photos Breath taking.......... Ideal weekend get away. The cottages are really cute with q reading section that has a variety for all ages.

This is an amazing location right by the Nile. The cottages are cute with views of the nile and all self catering. The staff are amazing and very helpful. The location is ideal for family or close friend gathering with privacy ensured. One key thing to know is that the Google map direction takes you through a bad terrain. Get directions from the staff so you use the right road. They provide a family sized swimming pool, BBQ or grill area , bonfire, kayaks, bicycles and spacious space for games.

I just stayed for my second time at Saranac on the Nile, and it was just as amazing and relaxing as the first time I stayed! The scenery is amazing and the staff are super helpful and friendly. If you're coming to Uganda do yourself a favor and book a couple days here to relax and enjoy the beauty of the Nile.

This is a fantastic place for a weekend gateway or for any holiday. Beautiful place, with beautiful scenery. The rooms are good and the service is good too. For the price you pay it's worth it, especially if you go as a group and book the whole place.

This is a fantastic place to get away with friends and family. If you are going from Kampala and taking the express way & Jinja highway then you should look for Bukeeka school, from that road you just go traight on the new road then turn left, you will see the sign of Saranac on the Nile. It quits easy to find. Do not listen to google map like we did because the countryside roads are not good especially if you have small vehicles. Thank you so much for mr manager Steven and the chef Brenda for all the support when we were there. Chef Brenda cook good really food. The staff are friendly and helpful. Highly recommend it for everyone that need a nice place in the middle of the jungle, next to the river but yeah, they have everything we need to have a comfortable trip.
