River nyamwamba is anice place for tourism

This river is massive and unpredictable

For photo lovers, you can have fun with the scenic beauty of nature along the sides of Nyamwamba with a clear view of the foot hills of mountain Rwenzori and the giant queen Elizabeth national Park.

Worth the experience, river seems small but the damage it can cause is quite ernomous

Floods every time it rains

Path of River Nyamwamba in Kasese district, Uganda a few meters from Country side resort. River washed away a whole referral hospital and hundreds of homes from the mountain Rwenzori ranges, 2020, killing and displacing many. Pics taken on March 14 2021 when it was dry season and base of the river could be seen and locals crossed through to nearby villages.
