Wow - what a setting! Tucked away in a hillside just few mins hike to the Rwenzori Mountains National Park main gate. Exceptional welcoming staff, spacious rooms but not so warm showers. €1 beers and the food from chef Simon is phenomenal - absolutely recommended!

Great location, the room/lodge is clean and okay, nothing special. Food was mediocre and too expensive but it might have something to do with the lack of tourists. The five/six hour walk up the mountain is definitely worth it but tough on the knees.. Views are amazing & no internet/phone was pretty nice for a change!

Friend and I stopped here for a night and then decided we wanted to stay one more. The views were so amazing that we were happy to just take our books eat right on the porch. Clean rooms, friendly staff, limited options for food but very tasty. Did the hill hike, about 6 hours and strenuous with beautiful views the whole time. If time/money allowed, I think we would have taken advantage of the overnight trekking trips. Next time!

Wonderful place on the slopes of Mt Rwenzori. I enjoyed a village walk, forest walk and a hill walk. Great nature sounds from the nearby stream of water and birds

I was for two nights in July 2022 at Ruboni Community Camp. It was awesome! The look to the Rwenzori Mountains was great. And especially the people were so kind and friendly. I would like to stay longer at this peaceful and remarkable place!

Beautifull community run place to explore the Rwenzori, also for a day or two. Nice rooms, good food, hot showers, nice staff, enjoyable tours (we did a very nice forest walk with guide john). We also had a medical urgency in which the staff proved very helpfull and emphatic. We really recommend this place.

Community based camp in a beautiful location. The rooms are basic but clean and comfortable, & the staff is very kind. Food could have been better

This place is in the heaven of tropical rainforest mountains of Uganda with facilities well-provided for your stay. I had great communication with the owner and we were hosted by his hospitable staff for 2 nights, which I wish was longer.

We've done a 2-day hike starting from Ruboni camp. It was great. Nice walk, a few chameleons, good food, great guiding, lovely mountain views,... I also like the concept of the community camp. Fantastic that these people live for the community. Lots of respect.

Its a very nice place in the middle of the forrest. You can easly drive there. Parking is available directly at the camp. They will welcome you very well. To go for hiking you can spontaniously talking to them when arriving or write them on whatsapp days before arrival. The philosphie of the camp is to provide work and earn money for the Community living in the valley.

An extremely amazing place to start your hiking and Mountaineering experience to Rwenzori Mountains. A home away from home. Biodiversity exceptions of birds, butterflies, beautiful views of the Portal Peaks. The Roar of River Mubuku heals you from the Noisy music noise you were used to in your home town

Great accommodation with gorgeous views to the mountains. We initially wanted to camp but their camping spot is just their parking lot which was not very attractive. We therefore decided to stay in the double room which was the best decision. Food was a lot and good. Staff very friendly. There are a lot of stairs so be aware. The camp also lies on 1.700m altitude and you can feel every stair 😅. Park gate is 15-20 mins walk or 5 mins by car. We organised an UWA ranger for a 1 day hike for 30 USD pP (most others will try to sell it for at least 100 USD).
