Great atmosphere and great food. The boating experience is great with a great guide to accompany you. It is good to be able to claim that you have been to the source of Nile but also, it is great for bird lovers. The food took time to get to our table considering we didn't really order anything that should take time but the taste was great so I won't complain much.

This was absolutely perfect! A wonderful tour on water, with binds and reptiles, fishermen and big ferries. And than a wonderful meal of Fisch. Great value for money.

Really like the ambience in this place. Very calm and relaxing. Makes for a really great place to dine, enjoy the beautiful views of the River Nile and listen to some breathtaking live band music. Was here with friends and enjoyed every bit of it apart from the food. Unfortunately, the food wasn’t as great as the location. We were many so I got to sample lots of options and the one thing we all agreed on was the food was a bit underwhelming. It wasn’t bad, it was just not as good as we thought it’ll be. But then again, I think that was the one thing that really disappointed me about my entire trip to Uganda. The food wasn’t as great as the people. However, I’ll still recommend this place to anyone looking to relax and enjoy an ice cold bear by the River Nile while catching up with friends and family. There’s ample parking space and there are a variety of water sports to partake in.

I like it here. The food is nice, the scenery right by the Nile and good outdoors but the lake/river flies are in swarms. You have to go to the inside to avoid those. The food was good as well and portions are okay.

Absolutely FANTASTIC view!!! You are going to love it here. Just a few hundred feet away from the Source of the Nile, having a meal right on Nalubale (Lake Victoria) is just so next level. The atmosphere is A-1! The service was great. We had the pork ribs and a few Tusker ciders to wash them down. Also topnotch are the grounds of the sailing club.

Shear haven. the serenity of the place with immediately sooth you. The breezing from the water with pure fresh air. You will unconsciously fall in love with the place. The Ambience of the place at night is incredible. The place is lit up with warm walkway lamps that illuminati the vast spancce of the property. The seats are meticulously setup on concrete patios next to the river front to enjoy the infinite view of the great river nile. They have boats that sailing, play areas for both adults and kids. The customer service is topnotch. The bonus was young fisher men fishing in a canoe.

For all the times I have been to the sailing club at pier road jinja, they never disappoint on the customer services, hygiene, hospitality and more. It is a very beautiful place with lovely people. Imagine a cup of coffee or your favorite drink With a beautiful sunset 🌇 lovely right? I tried a new drink from their menu(don’t remember the name) but I loved it. Their pork ribs and fries are delicious also the veggies. Aaah loved them. The boat cruise guys, Eeh so comfortable with an amazing friendly captain who explains almost everything you need to know about the Nile. I made friends too here. So, it’s a four star because it’s on great standards and only wish they had accommodation as well. Otw, don’t miss this place when you visit jinja. With their amazing live band every Sunday from 3pm-7pm.

This gem by the lake feels like a sea side resort. What it lacks in sandy beaches it provides in great service and a wide choice of sumptuous meals and cocktails. Spotless clean. Great for photography.

Beautiful place to go as a very small group. Our Mission Dinner in our formal attire was a Challenge for the staff with food and paying. Some waited a long time for food while others were done eating. Waiter Maurice couldn't get the ticket for checkout right, nor was He trying to return my change or display a ticket. I was the 4 order and the Very LAST PERSON to leave the restaurant, which I had to go to the checkout screen to demand my change with no receipt. This is like the 4th year the Mission trip was here and it's been a problem EVERY year. Please retrain the staff and prepare for Large groups.

Great place for sundowners. We had some fries as well, as we we're going out for dinner someplace else. Magnificent view over the Nile. Service is absolutely shoddy, but it isn't the waiters' fault. They seemed to be completely understaffed on our visit. The place is a bit snobby, so won't return in a hurry. But worth at least one visit.

Awesome place for eat in n take away wth wonderful scenery

Sailing club is a great outdoor beach space with a clean environment and inviting ambience. The customer care from Lilian/Liz was great but a little disappointed with the lukewarm brewed coffee and Spanish omelette that was too salty for anybody to taste. The rest of the servings were on point and will surely go back to visit.

Located off the 1 - 5 Pier road in Jinja along the shores of lake Victoria, the terrace overlooks and presents a fantastic view of the calm appearance of the lake yet fast water mass movement towards the whirling point where the great White Nile River commences it's journey to the Mediterranean sea. The restaurant is upmarket and suits the entire family. Large terrace seating area with good parking space. Indeed one of the finest places to visit while in Jinja. There's a boat ride service at affordable price.

Its an awesome place. I advise adventure seekers to try it out. There is so much to learn.

One of my favorite spots to chill by the water and enjoy good company and food. A decent experience would cost about 50k per person.

I had the fish tandoori the dish was nice but very small for it price (40,000). I got just the fish with nothing alse on the side on a very hot plate which kept coking the fish and the bottom part was dry. The dish can be much better. The place is very nice has potential but was empty when I was there.

Went out on the boat with Joseph who was excellent, very knowledgeable about the wildlife and the history of the area. He was friendly and helpful.

The waitresses were great, the chef needs to up his/her game. The fish was saltless, room for improvement.

Coming back to life after the river had overran it's banks. Spacious and not too crowded and offering upscale service

Nice food

Really nice breeze from the Lake. Boat ride that you can hire. The menu is diverse enough so you won't get "wallet-stuck". Swimming is free and you can bring your own boat if you're that kind of person. The staff were good to us. Eating areas inside and outside so you won't be bothered by the beautiful lake view. Just be sure not to touch the T-Rex 🦖

Good customer care, clean and good for a gate away

The scenery, the environment was so nice we came in running down the hill excited but we also left running because the food was horrible. We were given raw chicken look at the picture s below. The pork ribs glaze was rancid oil. And the dip was just honey and barbecue sauce. I honestly couldn’t hold this down my throat and just puked it out. The service (waiter)was nice and he apologized for the bad food so it really was a chef issue.

Nice place to visit for family outings.

Breathtaking views of the lake and they offer boat rides to the Source. You can choose to dine outside in the beautiful gardens or inside. Very nice meals though a bit expensive and no swimming pool for adults.

The boat captain is a cheater. He is promising you for a 1 hour ride but takes you for a 30 minutes ride. He tactically avoids some places which is in the schedule. When we questioned him about the duration of the ride he just try to be smart tell us that we started earlier. When we show him the time of the videos we too at the beginning he just keep silent. The worst is that the club management is also aware of this and they support him. Just mere cheating. If you wanna get a boat ride make sure you negotiate all the conditions beforehand. All of them are cheater.

I liked the place so much for its food location and very well maintance

Good site to rest only problem like in all places around Uganda Roads to the place are terrible. But on reaching the place we were treated to an open enviroment and a lot of grass to sit on. Service was OK though a bit slow like almost all services in Uganda (May give a foreigner a hard time adapting but once you get to undertsand that life is a gift to be enjoyed you will enjoy the country)

Cheaters........ If you ride boat keep start time recorded with captain. He is a cheater. He negotiate price for one hour but he limit trip to half an hour and charge the same as one hour. Even the club owners know this. The captain tactically avoid going under the bridge, it's better to find another place for boat ride than this. We didn't have food here. Their bar seems good.
