Patrick was so good to us, the forest walks were oooooo.. the food was scrumptious.. but the water falls were so breathtaking. This place should be on all nature lovers bucket lists.. i cant find the words to describe the rooms.. everything was so on point but lunch is $65..

What a special place. A truly unique lodge amongst the rapids of the Victoria Nile. Rooms were luxurious and homely, each with their own view onto the meandering rapids - finished to perfection. The central boma is eloquently designed with its famous outlook onto the pool and river. The food cooked by award winning chefs was absolutely outstanding in both presentation and taste. It shows how much they pride themselves on the cuisine by the quality of the dishes. Finally the staff were tentative, welcoming and served the hotel proudly. If your undecided because of the price - it's worth every penny and you won't regret it!

Gorgeous for family, business and vacationing. ● Food was great ● View breat taking ● Service from the employees was courteous,,, Except one employee of note to me. 👉 SASHA WANYONYI - Not welcoming, no smile, could not stand to welcome me, was rude and very unprofessional. Remained seated on the lobby seats with no care or concern whatsoever while I was in need of wanting to know more a booking am planning to have for my family. Such behavior will cost the business alot if left untamed.

Very relaxing experience, excellent customer service, you to enjoy Nile perch and Nile special from the source. quality and relaxing views of the Nile. Very expensive though, network is poor. Room 8 has a lot of noise from the bats. no room phone. their pool is nice however it is small.

We stayed here on our honeymoon and had the absolute best time! The view and setting are of course stunning but the staff are also amazing and made our stay very special. Delicious food and wonderful massage next to the rapids too. Richard even took the time to teach us Bao (the game) one evening which was great fun!

Though it is very expensive it worth every penny. Don't think of it as an hotel, but rather as an experience. You don't get there for a sleepover, you should stay the whole day, take the time to enjoy that special place. The views are amazing: the rush of the wayer in the falls all around keep changing all the time, one can stare at them for hours. The walk through on the wooden track through the foerst is beautiful and tranquil. The rooms are huge, good Wifi, wonderful views from the balcony, the bath, both inside the room and out in the balcony watching the falls are good. The food cooked by a chef and is very tasty. You can get all the drinks you want including alcohol But it is the service that makes it perfect, never have I enjoyed such a lovely service, everything is done fast and efficient, you hardly notice it, but things happen for your benefit all the time

Spectacular view. So relaxing. The only spud you hear is that of the mighty waters of Kalagala falls & of birds & insects. It's on an island in the beautiful R. Nile. We all know R. Nile is the longest River in the world with its source in Uganda at Jinja. Wild waters is heavenly. I have never seen so much cleanliness & orderliness. Apart from being an island sorrounded my rapids, it's sorrounded by a forest as well. Nature at its best. It's so Godly for its cleanliness. The rooms are artistically designed, professional services, & a great view & entanglement with nature.

We truly adored our stay here. From the room to the food to the location, everything was visually pleasing and thoughtfully crafted. We had the room with the private plunge pool and outdoor bath and it was perfectly romantic. There was hot water, decent WiFi, and quality room service each day. We were so sad when we left because we hadn’t had a stay or service like that in all of our travels around the globe in a long time. All in all, this is a one of a kind stay and we absolutely recommend it!
