It was such an amazing tour, in fact perhaps the best with a local tour guide we ever experienced. Miti is full of knowledge of Kampala as he was born and raised there. He has a nice humor and we laughed a lot. It is so positive that this tour is not scripted so that he could consider our personal interests at any time.

Wish I could give 7 stars! The tour with Miti has been one of my highlights during my time in Kampala, even though I already knew the city. It’s not a typical, „stiff“ tourist tour but rather a spontaneous, flexible and highly interesting tour in which Miti makes sure to cover your interests and gives you an authentic impression of Kampala. We’ve had good discussions, laughs, food and time flew by. Thank you Miti for this incredible experience and see you soon to discover more of Kampala! 🙌🏻

I went on a walking tour with Miti yesterday, he was very flexible and immediately accommodated to my short stay to offer me an amazing walking tour through Kampala. We visited many monuments as well as walked through different areas to get a real feel of Kampala life. He tailors his tours to you and makes them into an individual experience so you will always be interested and excited to go around. He even made an extra stop on the tour to the bus station to help me find information on the bus I would need to take in the next coming days. He knows so many different amazing places that really make you see and love Kampala. The best part of the tours has to be the conversation, he has so many interesting things to tell you but they don’t come off as robotic or scripted, instead you are welcomed with fun, lovely and easy conversation. He truly loves what he does and his passion comes through with the way he speaks of his city and through ever place he shows you. It was a great experience! We walked for around 6h but I didn’t even realise how long it had been because I was having such a good time. Definitely would recommend!

We had the pleasure of taking the Tembea Kampala Walking Tour, which was an incredible experience! Our guide, Miti, was extremely knowledgeable about the history of the area and took us to all the important landmarks, as well as the Owino Market and a fantastic vintage shop. Miti was not only informative but also very personable. He definitely has the talent to make a tour both educational and fun. We eventually spent 5h together (that felt like 1h), where we discussed neocolonial influences, Ugandas history, and more. We've already lived in Kampala for months now, but still learned so much about its history, culture and beauty, that you can just learn from an enthusiastic and true Kampalan tour guide. The pricing is very reasonable. Additionally, I felt that the tour is a comfortable and safe option for everybody, including female solo travellers, queer tourists or simply anyone who is new to Uganda. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone interested in experiencing Kampala in a unique and memorable way. Can't wait to go on the next tour with Miti! :) Thanks!

So great. Miti is a real pro. Incredible depth of knowledge and street-level experience. Will give you a real-life slice of Kampala: real, authentic, and thorough. Knows the right people, can smooth out trouble with a slick patter, streetwise, will keep you on the right path and away from trouble. History, society, culture, languages, politics, ask him about it all. Has far more knowledge and insight than can be packed into his short tours. Very well worth the price and so much more.

Exploring Kampala with Miti was like uncovering a hidden treasure with an old friend. His infectious enthusiasm and wealth of knowledge about the city's history and culture transformed our walk into a captivating journey. Miti's personal stories intertwined with the sights, sounds, and flavors of the city, made this tour not just informative, but incredibly personal and memorable. It was a unique, insightful experience that I would recommend to anyone visiting Kampala.

This has got to be the best tour in Kampala! Miti showed us multiple sides of Kampala, making sure we had a comprehensive understanding of this beautiful and chaotic city. His information was honest and accessible and extremely interesting. We stayed with him for 6 hours and we felt like we were hanging out with our close friend. We couldn't recommend this enough. Great route, great sights, great personality, great story telling and great value for money

I don't have enough words to describe just how truly awesome this tour was! Miti is the ultimate tour guide! He is very informative and shared hidden gems about Kampala. This was especially interesting to me as a Nigerian who is always curious to learn about other African cultures and dynamics. I loved how adaptable he was and attentive to the types of things I found interesting. As if the wonderful tour wasn't enough Miti went above and beyond! My tight work schedule meant I didn't have as much time to explore all the craft markets as I would have liked. But Miti took pictures of items I liked and went to get them for me while I had to rush back for meetings. This was truly worth more than 5 stars! Thanks so much Miti for an awesome time in Kampala and I look forward to another tour with you!

I had such a great time walking around Kampala town and getting to know the history of Uganda at large. I'd definitely recommend this tour if you'd love to get the vibe of the town as Miti (the guide) let's you in on the history & even on where the country is as at now. The guide is so knowledgeable, enthusiastic and definitely very good at what he does👌🏾. Another thing, he takes really nice pictures so your photos on this tour are sorted 😉.

The tour with Miti was an exceptional experience that went far beyond our expectations. Miti stands out as an extraordinary guide, combining deep knowledge with thoughtfulness, and a genuinely warm personality. The openness to discuss any question or topic was particularly refreshing and a rare find in Uganda. I gained more insights from Miti’s tour than in my entire month in Kampala. I’m definitely planning to bring all my visiting friends on these tours. A heartfelt thank you to Miti for such a memorable and enlightening experience! 🫶✨
