During my visit to BirdNest Resort on the serene shores of Lake Bunyonyi, I was greeted by a plethora of amenities and services that truly enhanced my experience. The comfortable accommodations, complete with picturesque views of the lake, provided the perfect retreat after a day of exploration. Indulging in the delicious offerings at the restaurant, which showcased a delightful blend of local and international cuisine, satisfied my taste buds and added to the overall enjoyment of my stay.

this is the best resort i've been to in Uganda. it has a warm homely feel, the service is amazing, the food is great and the staff ensure that they cater to your needs. the view of the lake is worth every penny and time spent here. definitely coming back.

Delicious food, stunning vistas, kind staff. We had refreshing smoothies, pizza and coffees. We also enjoyed the company and cuddles of the hotel cat and dog.

This hotel is located right on lake Bunyonyi. Our stay there was very nice. The food was excellent and people were super friendly. It definitely worth a ride with the boat on the lake. Our guide named Justice was very knowledgable and we learned alot..

This hotel is right by the lake. The view from our room was beautiful. There is a pool where you can rest. The restaurant is quite big, the menu has mostly western food, nothing traditional Ugandan. The rooms a spacious with a TV, a fridge, a desk. There were 2 things that we really didn’t like: there are no mosquito nets in the rooms, but there are mosquitos there. They sprayed the room but we still had at least one bothering us at night. Make sure you put on your repellent before going to bed. The second is the water pressure in the shower. Barely a trickle, not enough to wash our hair.

The perfect location to relax after a couple of days on the road and having completed the gorilla trekking the day before. The lodge is very comfortable and modern. The views from the restaurants and the room is incredible! The staff is super friendly, very professional and always ready to help. The food is incredible!! Make sure you try all the crayfish (from the lake) variations. We also explored the area around and visited some communities. We hight recommend this place :)

Beautiful hotel located by lake Bunyoni. Rooms have really nice views on the lake. There is a swimming pool and you can use there kayaks for free. Prices are relatively high compared to other places around, but this place is also more luxurious.

Rooms need refurbishment. Few plugs and switches were not working. Mixing hot and cold water was mission impossible. Service, view, souvenirs store and food were great.

A really lovely place to stay close to Bwindi. The resort overlooks Lake Bunyonyi and has some amazing views, definitely the nicest and most modern place we stayed in Uganda. The rooms were very clean, spacious and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and the food was delicious. They sponsor artists and have a nice gallery were you can browse paintings and drawings of African wildlife; we bought two items and they are just beautiful. Definitely recommend and we will be back.

Lake Bunyonyi is just amazing. We stayed at Birdnest for two nights, excellent! The bedroom was big, comfortable with a terrace overlooking the lake, wish we could have stayed longer. The staff were all great, especially Simpson & Nicolas. The food was fresh and very good, actually probably the best food we had in Uganda. Several different areas to sit & chill. We didn’t have time to use all the facilities, but we did use their Kayaks a couple of times.

Only been here for lunch so don't know about the rooms. Location is fab and good is quite good particularly the pasta dishes. Meat is way overcooked our medium-rare steak came as well done and the well done was shoeleather. Desserts again are very good and fresh. Bit pricey for Uganda but well worth a splash

Was just here for a boat tour of the bunyonyi islands coz they had a fair deal compared to neighborhood resorts. Justus was a fantastic guide, very knowledgeable. Ensure to make the sharp island pit stop. A honeymoon contender. Serene island!

Nice hotel, although a bit overpriced I think. The view from the room is great, the pool was also okay. The staff was friendly, the receptionist although was not really helpful, and felt rather bothered by us. Would expect a bit more of a hotel in this price range.

Wow. Wow. Banange wow. Views are great. At a time where I've found the service at resorts to be lacking...this place was fully staffed and we were very well taken care of. Cool rooms, nice bathrooms and awesome views. Seems very popular with Europeans. Take the boat ride to go zipline.

Beautiful place to stay on the lake. Very nice rooms and grounds of the hotel. Large food menu. Nice place to recover from a difficult gorilla trek.

This place was absolutely beautiful. The wait staff was professional and friendly. We had a large group so we sent our orders early and that helped us get our food more quickly. The restrooms were also amazing!

This was a quieter place for us as I mostly involved swimming in the lake and the pool. It's cooler here and we came down a gear. The staff were good and so was the food, without being brilliant.

We had the prettiest room with an astonishing view. Birdnest Resort at Lake Bunyonyi is a great place to relax and chill after coming from Bwindi. Having your morning coffee on the terrace while listening to the sound of a million beautiful birds is nothing less than magical. Also, as an animal lover, having Pacino around made me really happy.
