A good base for crater lake exploring and close enough to the mountains for a good view. We stayed in a room here, which was pleasant enough. The site is great and if you fancy a short walk you'll see monkeys a stone's throw away. Hospitality is warm and the food was pretty good. We liked the set up of the guest farm and would be interested in camping here another time. It's a lovely part of the country and I recommend a lunch visit and swim at Kyaninga Lodge - the lake swim is a highlight and watching American tourists fly in via helicopter with all their multi-pocketed safari outfits never fails to raise a smile.

Very nice place for nature lovers, hikers and families. Peaceful, delicious Ugandan German food and one of the best water preasures in Uganda. Well done. We are sending many of our guests here.

A quiet serene place in the outskirts of fortportal city. Very friendly staff and great food! The road from kasusu is abit tricky in the rainy season but the one off kasese road is great.

It's really a magnificent place with an exceptional and very flowery garden. Ideal place to spend time with family. The accommodations are nice. The meals are of good quality. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. You have the opportunity to take a short walk in the forest to observe birds and small monkeys. Presence of some farm animals. I recommend it without hesitation.

We had the pleasure of staying here in January 2020, it was the most amazing accommodation we could have wished for, the food was superb and we were very well taken care of by our host and his team. The gardens are beautiful, it’s pool is well equipped and the camping g was more like glamping. Loved every minute of our stay, we will be back.

Lovely gardens and surroundings. We also enjoyed a walk in the woods. The family cabin was spacious but the decor was dated.

Kluges Guestfarm is a wonderful place. What’s so good? Several things. The setting in the lovely green countryside near Fort Portal. The garden full of flowers, trees and colourfull birds. The clean rooms with everything you need, and a veranda overlooking the garden. A small clean and nice swimming pool. The very, very good food, all freshly made, including the bread and lots of veggies from the garden. Best of all: the people. They welcome you like family. Don’t just book here for a night. There is a lot to do, of course chimpanzee tours and national parks, but much more. Like visiting the Mabale tea factory, the Crater Lakes, the botanical garden, caves, springs, vibrant Fort Portal with some good shops, walking the paths on the beautiful premise or just sitting on the veranda reading a book. We were there for six nights and felt we could have added another week. The road from the airport to the Guestfarm is sometimes good and sometimes in bad shape. It’s safe to drive and there’s petrol on the way everywhere. We rented a Toyota 4 wheeldrive and it did the job. Driving yourself is part of the experience and it’s nice to be independent having your own transport. Thank you Kluges Guestfarm!

Good campsite with decent facilities but the campgrounds are pretty small and you’ll struggle if more than 2 campers. Laundry services, restaurant and a Kitchen area with electricity available. The location is about 25 minutes from the tarmac road so just factor that in your planning.

Beautifull place with a lot of flowers and butterflies. But look out which road to pick during raining season when you come from fort portal. Dont take the sorthest one.

A wonderful location away from the noise that has become Fort Portal city and enclosed in a mature garden that gives one a unique sense of being away from it all.

We stayed twice at this place - three nights each stay. It is a marvelous place on a "living" farm with a spectacular garden and a rainforest with Colobus Monkeys. The rainforst you can experience yourself or on a guided tour with one of their staff. We stayed on the campground with two vans: one Roof top tent and one campervan. The Campground has a perfect layout and is levelled. The ablutions with toilet and hot showers are very clean. There are two sink to clean the dishes, two large covered shelters to sit when the sun is shining or when it is raining - both with powerpoint. There are night guards to secure the whole area. The owners, Stefan and Mariam Kluge, are caring and warmharted hosts. These two and their staff are extremely supportive and helpful. They booked for us a chimpanzee trekking in the Kibale Forest NP and a guided hike in the crater lake area. The restaurant offers very good food at reasonable prices. We enjoyed the stay a lot; sitting at the bonfire with a cold beer, facing the Rwenzori Mountains was just astonishing. A great place that we recommend a lot!

Super charming guest givers, great compound, great rooms, great food. spend a really relaxing time there. Took a walk in the rain forest, which is part of the compound and you have a great view to the mountains and a lot of fresh air. Thank you for this beautiful time!

I had the pleasure of staying at Kluge’s Guest Farm for four nights during the month of March 2019. Out of the two weeks I visited Uganda, I would have to say Kluge’s was my favorite place to stay. The accommodations were very clean, comfortable, and spacious, and the food, delicious. The grounds were well-kept, inviting, and relaxing. The staff at Kluge’s was beyond exceptional - - Robert, as well as the others, was amazing, helpful, considerate, and respectful. I cannot say enough about how wonderful I had been treated during my stay. Many thanks to each and every staff member. Although Kluge’s is a bit out of the way, I enjoyed heading to my “Ugandan paradise” each evening. I would highly recommend a stay at Kluge’s for anyone heading over to Fort Portal - and please, try to stay for a few nights so you can enjoy the beauty Kluge's has to offer.

Kluge’s Guest Farm has attached bungalow rooms set in a huge garden to beautiful flowers. There is a back door which has a porch with a roof over it and a couple of chairs to relax and look over the grounds. It was just a one night stay and was very nice. As far as I know there were no nearby sits to see or activities.

We camped at the campsite which was lovely. The ablutions were very good, hot showers and plenty of space. It has 2 shelters for cooking and washing up. There are some walks in the forest around cfc the farm which are good especially when you see the Black and Whits Colobus monkeys jumping through the trees and scampering through the fforest. The lodge gardens are very well kept and they have a good swimming pool too. The staff were friendly and efficient. We stayed 4 nights.

Beautiful Gardens, well maintained and clean. Good customer service. There should be activities though apart from swings and swimming like Horse riding.
