I would recommend Africa Adventure Vacations without a second thought if the standard of their other adventures is anything like the standard provided by my Uganda and Rwanda gorilla experience tour. I have no negative comments about any of it. EXCELLENT.

Robert and his team at African Adventure Vacations were very patient and helpful in the planning and execution of our family trip in August 2022. We did the 6 days tour with the gorilla and chimpanzee treks. Our English speaking guide, Najib, was fabulous with accommodating and conscientious to the needs/interests of our two teenage daughters. One of our daughter was feeling under the weather and he was not pushy in trying to stick to the itinerary. Our 4 wheel drive vehicle appeared slightly outdated but never had a problem (AC worked well and very comfortable)and Najib was great at navigating the small dirt roads through our journey. We had a few budget and few mid range accommodations, we would definitely upgrade to the midrange hotels next time. The country and people are amazing and we forward to our next visit. Thank you to Robert and especially Najib for a great trip.

What happens is that i had such an unforgettable, once in a lifetime experience. Thank you very much Africa Adventure Vacations for all that you did for us. The 4 days that we spent time in Queen Elizabeth National Park and Bwindi Impenetrable National Park was for real beneficial to our research study. The guides gave what we expected, with total satisfaction I can say We enjoyed the trip & totally loved it.

We had the pleasure of doing a 10 day safari with this company over June with Caesar as our tour guide. The trip was incredible and it was truly possible because of our guide Caesar, he took care of our every need, from lodging accommodations, to meals, to the unexpected necessary bathroom stops. During our first group meeting they explained that there’s a chance the car might breakdown but they’re prepared to fix it. Halfway through the trip our car broke down and Caesar drove us to the nearest town and dropped us off at a very nice hotel while he repaired the car. He handled everything so professionally and the company delivered on the authentic experience they promise. Anyone looking to travel to Uganda I would highly recommend Africa Adventure Vacations!!

We booked an individually planned safari with mid-range to budget accomodation for 4 people in Uganda with AAV in 2022. The trip was wonderful and well organized, our guide Stanley is amiable, knowlegeable and a VERY good driver who took us securely through every adventurous situation. We visited Kidepo NP, Ziwa, Murchinson, Kibale. Stanley spotted and explained every animal near and far and thus created so many wonderful memories for us. We even saw the shoebill right next to the road! Troubles at home finally resulted in us abbreviating our stay and not finishing the trip, which had originally included Elizabeth NP, Ishasha, lake Bunyoni and the Gorillas at Bwindi. Everybody at AAV was extremely helpful in our special situation and also with the paperwork afterwards. We had done a lot of research in advance on itinerary, accomodation etc. and AAV stood out tremendously against all other travel agencies with their quick and patient responses to our questions and needs. We are looking forward so much to finishing our safari this year with Robert and his team!

Truly amazing! Thank you Ashiraf for organizing this tour for us. Our guide Ceasar was great, he knows a lot about wildlife and people. I hope we will be back in your country soon, would like to climb the Rwenzori mountains. Uganda should definitely be on the top list for safaris! Few people know that there are such amazing wildlife sightings in your country. We saw so many elephants, lions, giraffes…the cruises on the Nile river were amazing. And of course, the highlight were the chimps and gorillas. We “visited” a family of 14 individuals, including the silverback and many babies. They were so cute when they were playing in the river. The trackers did an excellent job and were very friendly and ready to help when there was no trail at all or very steep parts.

Excellent experience overall We were very satisfied with our gorilla trek in Uganda and golden monkey trek in Rwanda. Ashiraf from Africa Adventure Vacations was very accommodating of our requests and helped put together an itinerary that worked for us. We had a great time with our driver guide, Sam. We had exchanged dozens of e-mails with Ashiraf for more than a year to organize this trip. She was completely flexible with our choice of hotels and itinerary. When bad reviews started to tarnish a hotel, he readily changed the hotel to one with better reviews. He promised us gorillas, and we saw gorillas—lots of them.

Robert was our tour guide and Ashiraf was our first point of contact. Our seven days tour was excellent, Robert did everything to make us feel comfortable and ensure we had a great experience. We were picked up from Kampala and dropped in Entebbe. They were brilliant tour guides, we couldn't have been happier.

The trekking was amazing! It’s a long trip to the forest from Entebbe or Kampala. If I had time I would do a longer tour. Robert made all the effort to don’t compromise the whole experience. I really recommend the experience.

Africa Adventure Vacations is the best gorilla safari company in Uganda

For our safari tour, Ashiraf gave us Ceasar as our driver/guide. He was wonderful. He knew every plant, every bird, and every animal. He was our advocate for the gorilla treks as I had a history of fractured feet. He worked hard to get us treks to the closer gorilla families so that we would not have to walk as far.

My wife and have recently returned from 7 days throughout all of Uganda and Kigali, Rwanda. Our search for a reputable safari company started with a friend, he recommended 2 companies he had dealt with. After hopping on TripAdvisor and reading about them, I was convinced with one of the companies he recommended. Nonetheless, I also saw Africa Adventures Vacations. I contacted both companies at the same time and was immediately contacted back by African Adventures Vacations and also, received a phone call from Ashiraf.
