Oh My God!!! One of the best supermarkets to grace the soil of Uganda! Okay I may sound like I am exaggerating but nope it is as cool as it gets trust me. Where do I begin? This supermarket has a spice section, a cheese bar, to die for grocery, an amazing bakery section with mighty bread OMG, then it has a bunch of different stuff to mention but a few. Honestly it is amazing and the staff (the workers) are so polite unlike some supermarkets I know here, then they give you space like you shop freely not being stressed about being watched by people. So I know I may have said a lot of things but honestly it is one if not the best supermarket in Uganda! Thank you Carrefour.

Prices are friendly. They have stock of things. Currently running electronics promotion for prices above Ugx 200, 000 with payment period of 90days. Confectionery raw materials products are very affordable there than any other places. Good hospitality by the staff there.

Good security and enough car parking

Really nice place, well organized, excellent choice of products and more so very helpful and friendly staff. When I visited the branch at Metroplex Nalaya, there was a power shortage and when it came back on the manager explained to us that the systems were getting back on then we would check out our items and offered to get us chairs if we were tired of standing. Ofcourse 😉 young and strong people like us kindly declined the offer. But I really appreciated that gesture because it's quite rare.

I visited this place 2 weeks back when i went to my friends home for night stay... She stays in nalya.. We went to shop grocery as we entered found bit crowd... Then after entering and start shopping i realise why its so crowdy

Carrefour has an outlet at Metroplex Shopping Mall. They occupy the space which was previously occupied by Shoprite supermarket. Very well stocked supermarket. I like the sea foods (cold room) and spices section.

The problem with Carrefour is that the products are not grouped as per their applications. It's hard to find some stuff, yet they have it as stock. Alcohol is the only product that is in one place. Things to do with soap, detergents, toilet paper, etc. are all over the store. And this is for all the carrefour even in Nairobi its the same. Hope they improve

Only a small part of European foodstuffs and the same for Ugandan ones. Management should choose and offer a full game on one side or the other. Staff in general very unmotivated. More expensive than most other supermarkets same type.

It has been my to go to Supermarket for close to two years, mainly because I could get most of the products I was used to having lived in France and Switzerland for a many years. The types of cheese from parmesan, mozzarella, gouda, feta , gruyere etc ; the variety of pasta and pasta sauces. the patisserie etc It was all the real deal! Not to forget the genuine durable kitchen appliances But in the last couple of months or so standards seem to be dropping. Most of the products are not on the shelves; customer care is not what it used to be. I guess it goes with the general economic hardship of the times, post covid. I do hope they pick up in 2023 and become as vibrant as they used to be when they opened the first branch of Carrefour in Uganda

Well stocked super market. Electronics, food, beverage, nice location, big parking space and security, and service .

I appreciated that it had free WiFi even though I didn't use it. This is helpful as we were visitors from a different country and data roaming, so having that would have helped to order for a taxi after shopping.

What is the point of having 5 payment units and only having 1 or 2 available to the customers? Busy day or not, day in day out, weekday or weekend...It's even worse for the evenings when theres are a maximum of 2 and they get slow.🙌🏾 Aside from that, well y'all have failed to fix the Soda fridge that houses Coca cola products, HAVE YOU EVER DRUNK A NOT COLD COLA ON A HOT DAY? Take it from me, it's horrendous.

If you are looking for one of these; 1: Weekly Discounted goods, Good Food, Love watching Movies, Kids play area, Just go and shop at Carrefour in Naalya. You will get a good experience over there. I shop at that place most of the time.

A great one stop stock centre. However the freezer/chest section is very lacking, got there this afternoon looking for a 400l freezer only to find there just 2pcs 200l and another smaller one. Kindly restock this section as well

Well stocked Supermarket, with ample parking. The Mall is generally undergoing refurbishment especially the speciality shops section. It offers a good shopping experience and the surrounding area is mainly middle class residential areas.

This is a well stocked Supermarket in a middle income neighbourhood. The outfit is well run with an international feel to it. As a customer, you feel well taken care of and the pricing especially on alcohol is friendly

The best place to shop it, affordable prices

Its a nice place. The prices on drinks are affordable but the return policy on commodities isn't favourable. Also they don't have some commodities like toothbrush holders and humidifiers.

Sparkling clean, always neat and with fairly good prices. The aisles weren't well thought out, though, with drinks right after the baby supplies aisle. They could also improve on product selection, especially in the freezer section.

Carrefour recently moved to the place. I would say this is one of the neatly organised supermarkets in Kampala. They have a variety of household items, a mini bakery and food place. The supermarket is found at Metroplex Naalya that has ample parking space. There is temperature check and hand sanitization at the entrance. The staff are also friendly, the supermarket is also wheelchair accessible and less crowded.

Much better stocked than ShopRite before it. Staff is very helpful. Prices are nothing to shout home about - though the occasional promotion is exceptional. If you're in the area, it's ok. Mostly for the options available. Not the prices.

The shelves are very untidy at the razor section - wAs looking for Nacet - out of stock. Also wanted to get food service cling wrap - the box was completely damaged and dusty - looked like it has been there for a long time

Okay(I know, bad start of a paragraph), this is the kind of place with a bad start! The location is great, the stock is sufficient though not inclusive, and the service is within "good" range for Uganda standards. What is bewildering is the lack of clientele. Don't get me wrong, it's not the business, it's something hard to explain. Naalyans would rather go to Ntinda or Namugongo than next door. Yes, the products might be a little foreign but 2 supermarkets have died there before-also both foreign. Having said that, the prices are good enough and the presentation is great and organised. The food court is terrible and on occasion you'll find burnt food, broken bread, and shredded snacks still on display like the sellers are blind. You should also double check the prices as the staff make mistakes with the tags and you'll have to call a supervisor at checkout. The staff are polite and helpful, and they trust their customers. Yes, I've borrowed empties before and was allowed. 🙃 In summary: The good- great place, great location(with kids playground on weekends), reasonable pricing, helpful staff. The bad: terrible food court, lack local variety, low turnover leading to slack. Would I go back? Yes 👍 Should you? Yee, give it a go and let me know your comments. Update: They still don't have the popular products. Jeez!
