Wow! Such a unique and beautiful lodge. The views of the rapids don’t get much better. We started our 4 night experience by being picked up from the airport by one of the drivers, Juma. The vehicle was clean and had Wi-Fi. Once we arrived we loved taking the ferry boat to get to the lodge. For the majority of our stay we were in room #9 (Merlowe) and from the back porch you can see an intense class 6 rapid. Our room was spacious and kept super tidy by housekeeping. Our last night we were upgraded to room 8 with the private pool which was very nice. We loved the little coffee bean messages left daily by housekeeping. Sometimes the little details are the most memorable. The shower was great. Probably the best water pressure and most amount of super hot water we’ve ever had while traveling about in Africa. The bed was on the firm side. Rooms are not equipped with hair dryers but just ask concierge and they can lend you one. The back patio was so relaxing with the deep tub and scenic views. The best part of the all inclusive package is laundry service is included! We found staff to be friendly and very helpful. Armstrong was the first to greet us right off the boat and walk us through. Harrington at concierge helped us plan all of our daily activities. We were disappointed that horseback riding wasn’t available when we prebooked everything but had fun doing a variety of other activities such as jogging, biking, kayaking, rafting, and of course massages. The meals were delicious. A good variety of African and non African dishes. My husband and I enjoyed that some of the chef’s came out to greet guests after dinner. We met the head chef Vincent and another chef Coddings. The servers were also lovely Thank you Moses, Doreen, Juma, Geofrey and the other servers that we met! After dinner we enjoyed being escorted to our rooms by Moses who guided us with a flashlight and helped us spot the sleeping mokeys in the trees! Overall we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Thank you to everyone who helped make our Anniversary trip one to remember.

I've been here a dozen times as a day guest, for lunch and enjoyed immensely every time. Recently remodeled due to rising water levels in the river. The rapids and views of the Nile are breathtaking. The food is very good.

In my 30 years of world travel, this is, quite simply, the most spectacular place I've stayed. The location, the view, the food, and the staff lead me to this conclusion. If you come to Uganda, you have to stay here, you'll not regret it, it will be one of the best experiences you'll have..

My best experience among the different places I have travelled around Uganda. Excellent customer care, nice food and friendly waiters. I was there with a friend and even though it was a bit cloudy and later rained, it was still such a breathtaking experience. We had missed out on some experience until one of the workers took us to the hypoxia where there is the wildest waters and falls. It was such a thrilling and blood-boiling experience. The cottages are spacious and have nice views. The bridges leading to the different places within the facility and the well-maintained ecosystem is an experience of its own.

Went for a day visit. The lodge's USP is of course the location. The amenities however are a bit of a letdown. For example, there is no provision for a day visitor to take a shower before or after a swim. Food was decemt but a lot of basic items were missing

Great experience for a family vacation. The staff are cool. Mr Juma and the manager were very welcoming. The rapids facing room 10 produce cool relaxing sounds. Overall nature at its peak! I enjoyed the stay.

We recently stayed at Lemala Wildwaters for 2 nights on our honeymoon and could not recommend it more. Armstrong and Harrington were our main contacts, and they were kind, attentive, and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. Service overall was some of the best we've ever experienced. The food was OUTSTANDING - from local fish to traditional African specialties, every single thing we ate was delicious. Lastly, the rooms are absolutely gorgeous - and the views from the private balcony incredible. This was such a unique stay and we'd highly recommend it!

Relaxing place, friendly people, good food, clean lodge with a good hot shower. Enjoyed the waterfalls around. And the Nile Special is the best beer ever. Thank you all!

The location is in the city of Jinja, about two hours away from the capital Kampala, and on crowded days it reaches three hours, you move by boat between the two banks of the river to reach the resort, where it has a charming view of the river and waterfalls. But the menu and the way of cooking is very bad. I came here from Kampala and the food was very bad. I just bore the trouble and tiring of the road. I hope the officials here will develop the restaurant.. Thank you

Breathtaking lodge to stay at. Warmly welcomed, the food was on point and everything was wow. Are you searching for a luxury hotel for your stay in Jinja? Lemala white waters lodge is the answer. No disappointment.

Cozy getaway. Sorrounded by the sound of water falls. Compels one to just seat back, close eyes, listen to the falls and fade off into oblivion with no cares in the world whatsoever.

It's certainly one of the most exceptional resorts in the world for its design and its location. It's the ideal place if you want to take a few days to rest or if you want to stay focused on a task and do not want to be disturbed. This place located on the shores of Lake Vitoria, offers you a panoramic view of the falls, all under the song of the waters punctuated by the waterfalls. The rooms are very charming. The view from the restaurant is really beautiful. The meals are quite delicious although I think they can still do better.
