Great lodge. Encaptured by nature. Private houses with private savannah view. Truly great food. Powered solely by Solar System. Open Design in houses protected against mosquitoes and bugs. Overfriendly staff. Only negative are steep and long stair walks to some houses, which take climbing up 5-10 mins to the restaurant.

Without a doubt one of the best lodges we stayed at during our trip, sadly for only one night. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. The tent cottage is very spacious and at a distance from other tents. The bathroom is clean and well equipped. You really get the outdoor feeling because the walls are open (with mosquito nets) and you can opt to close the sides of the tent. The bed is wide and very comfortable. It's also nice to sit on the deck and watch the monkeys play around. Dinner and breakfast were excellent. Didn't get to try out the pool but that also looked fabulous. Great location in the middle of the national park.

Lake Mburo National Park is beautiful, great place for a picnic ๐Ÿงบ with family and friends. A two hour boat cruise. The park is near the highway to Mbarara City. Park fees are fair you can make it

Safari at its best. Night game drive for leopards & hyenas. Only place in Uganda you can see the Impala. One of the best birding destinations in East Africa. You can see the restricted Red-faced barbet, the African finfoot, Crested Barbet, the Lappet-faced vulture & many more

Incredible lodge! Request the buffalo or water hole- the view from the veranda looks directly onto the water hole, where wildlife is constantly coming and going. Excellent value for money.

One of the nicest lodges on our Uganda-trip. Stay at least two nights! Great food. Explore the family story behind it - it's worth it.

It was beautiful and the space was designed very creatively but you have no walls - it is a tent inside another structure. This is important to keep in mind if you do not like sleeping with little bugs in your bed. My husband slept like a log, I struggled a bit with the insects in the room and in the bed in spite of spraying everything and having the mosquito net completely closed. Also know that there are a lot of stairs!

Just wow! Yes, the road there isnt the best (but improved a lot), you sleep in safari tents and have to walk a bit to your accommodation, because they are kept in decent distances to allow for privacy. If that intimidates you, you probably want to go to a hotel and not a lodge. If you want to go to a lodge, don't look any further: this is one of my personal top3 lodges in Uganda and I can highly recommend it (for horse lovers: they have a stable and if you're lucky you can gallop together with some zebras!!)

This amazing lodge is built in an outcrop of rocks near Lake Mburo National Park. It was a great location for a stop over on our journey to Bwindi. We were impressed by the attention to detail, the level of service (all the staff addressed us by name) and by the delicious food. The chefs are incredibly skilled and have come up with some inspired dishes using local ingredients. The rooms are spacious, beautifully appointed with stunning views, the way they have been designed results in a feeling of being outside while still having the benefit of normal day to day amenities. We did a nature walk while there with a guide named David. This was was very interesting and was fun to see the Topi and Zebra on foot. This lodge is a must for all those visiting Uganda!
