Indeed centrally located it is. It's in the middle of town with 6 gates (there could be more). The market serves the entire town residents with foodstuffs ranging from fresh farm produce to processed food products like maize flour, white polished rice, roasted coffee etc. Fresh produce includes all vegetables, onions, tomatoes, fresh ginger, capsicums, peas, beans etc. Footwear and apparel and household goods are also displayed here for sale. Plenty of fruits too. Outside the building are transport vehicles spacely parked

It's my favorite market if I want fruits, and many other vegetables. Surrounded by financial services such as agent banking and almost anything you need is within this market. I love Tororo main market

Being my first time in Uganda, it was a wonderful experience. The market was filled with varieties of items you can't restrain your eyes from seeing, from foodstuffs, fruits, fish, clothes. I enjoyed kaloho and eboo meal with a stew of local free range chicken. I can't wait to visit again. Besides the ambience, I made a bunch of new friends, the people are so kind and will keep you entertained while you talk to them throughout your trip in the vans known as taxis. I also enjoyed a trip on their bikes from Tororo.

It's quite arranged with a total of four quadrants each having atleast 2 wide entrances and even wider offloading area, that's if you need a rough blueprint of TCM. The access to the the upper section is only accessible after entering the market and the stairs are just besides the entrances abit hidden at times. I really appreciate the hygiene compared to other central markets I've been too, its not the best but it's good enough I'll have to admit.
