We
were
a
team
of
9
people
visiting
from
the
U.S.
-
stayed
for
a
total
of
9
nights
and
10
days
-
in
a
variety
of
room
types
(family
cottage,
double
cottage,
and
single
cottage).
I
only
have
one
area
for
improvement
related
to
the
location
-
otherwise
the
rest
of
my
review
can
be
summarized
as
an
EXCELLENT
experience!
First
-
the
location
was
difficult
to
find
from
the
main
road
(the
sign
isn't
obvious
to
spot)
and
the
road
leading
to
the
resort
could
use
some
attention.
It
was
very
narrow
at
parts
and
full
of
large
holes
and
bumps
making
coming
in
and
out
of
the
location
a
slow,
cautious
drive.
First,
the
property
is
stunning.
The
views,
the
landscaping,
the
overall
theme
of
the
property
was
lovely
and
design
with
thought,
intention,
and
beauty.
It's
both
peaceful
and
interesting
to
look
at.
The
staff
maintaining
the
property
worked
hard
daily
and
always
greeted
us
with
a
smile.
My
only
improvement
in
this
area
would
be
that
we
didn't
realize
how
large,
expansive
this
property
was
until
almost
our
final
day.
We'd
have
loved
to
maybe
know
how
large
it
was
and
tour
it
as
an
introduction
to
the
site
-
or
even
if
this
info
was
displayed
on
the
website.
It
consists
of
it's
own
farm,
a
large
grassy
event
space
and
conference
space,
in
addition
to
the
multiple
cottages
and
restaurant!
Next,
the
rooms
were
perfectly
sized,
fitted
with
a
great
African
style
roofing
and
small
front
patio.
Each
room
offered
our
own
private
toilet/shower/sink
and
water
heater.
Beds,
floors,
bathrooms
were
comfortable
and
clean
and
the
housekeeping
staff
were
prompt,
helpful,
and
did
a
great
job
cleaning
daily.
They
provided
bathroom
amenities
such
as
towels,
bath
mitt,
soap,
tooth
kit,
nail
kit,
and
more.
Lots
of
outlets
for
plugging
in
your
phones,
etc.
Only
one
short
power
outage
which
was
quickly
turned
over
to
a
generator
so
we
weren't
without
power.
The
only
improvement
could
be
to
add
a
fan
to
the
room
to
help
with
moving
the
air
around
in
the
warm
days/evenings.
Wi-fi
was
strong
in
the
restaurant
but
not
other
parts
of
the
hotel,
including
our
rooms.
But
that
was
ok
with
our
team.
Next,
the
restaurant!
It
is
a
gorgeous
space
(ask
Derek
to
tell
you
the
story
of
how
it
was
designed!)
and
has
lots
of
different
seating
options
indoors
and
outdoors.
The
food
portions
for
Americans
was
just
right
for
breakfast
and
very
large
portions
for
dinner.
We
ate
an
English
breakfast
almost
daily
(eggs
any
way
you'd
like,
potatoes,
beans,
meat
(pork
or
beef
sausage),
and
fruit.
Variety
of
fruit
juices
(sugar
cane,
watermelon,
passion
fruit,
and
more).
My
favorite
drink
(recommended
by
Lydia,
a
server)
was
half
black
coffee
mixed
with
half
African
Tea.
It
became
my
#1
favorite
drink
of
the
entire
trip!
Meals
took
a
little
long
to
arrive
after
ordering
but
it
was
always
worth
the
wait
(great
presentation
AND
food
quality
was
excellent).
We
learned
you
can
call
your
order
ahead
from
your
room
before
arriving
to
the
restaurant
if
we
were
short
on
time.
I
am
not
typically
an
adventurous
eater,
yet
I
loved
the
catfish,
the
chicken
wings,
the
steak,
and
the
coconut
curry
chicken.
Security
was
strong
without
feeling
intimidated.
The
gates
at
the
front
were
monitored
well
and
they
walked
the
property
throughout
and
you
can
lock
your
room
up
well.
The
staff
was
the
best
part!
They
serve
with
care
and
joy
and
professionalism.
We
valued
how
the
front
desk
Manager
Henry
handled
our
reservation
and
bill
payment
-
he
was
trustworthy
and
had
great
customer
service.
We
appreciated
Derek
(restaurant
manager),
as
he
always
had
great
information
on
food,
drinks,
and
atmosphere.
Lydia,
David,
and
other
servers
were
attentive
to
detail
and
cared
that
we
had
a
great
experience.
Earnest
and
other
staff
were
so
helpful
with
our
bags
to/from
our
rooms.
Chef
was
incredibly
thoughtful
in
the
food
preparations
and
variety
-
he
prepared
high
quality
food,
flavors,
pairings,
and
presentation.
Ravi
was
a
great
trainer
to
the
team
and
helped
add
value
to
our
experience.
SO
thankful
for
this
wonderful
experience
-
I
will
visit
again
and
recommend
to
others!
