Shree Ganga - One of the oldest and reputed restaurant in Ujjain. Few years back place was good with very affordable rates. Today place is good food is good but no longer affordable. Talking about their sweets - Great offerings and good taste and good thing is atleast sweets are affordable. May be because they were originally only a sweets place and now expanded to Resto. Only Veg place. Seatings are good. Weekends should be avoided too much rush and there staff is not properly trained to handle rush. Whenever you go you will find a new guy serving. Too much of Staff rotation which leads to slow service.

Bakery items and sweets are also available.. Sweets are top notch.. And the south indian dishes are always on point in presentation and taste.. That bald man sitting on cash counter needs help .....he is uneducated and boor though the speaker confirmed loudly about the reception of payment he is daunting....why such illiterate are hired. I have seen him on Diwali also he doesn't give bills and also adds trouble to a lot of customers because he isn't digitally literate to understand the transaction

Very testy food, special idli sambhar, chole bhature, katori chaat, Raj kachori, jalebi, and all types sweets bangali sweets one of the best in Ujjain. Backery items also awesome.

Food is good. They mainly focus on thalis. And their Deluxe thali of 210 is good for 1 person. However, too much red chilli used in food but presumably is less than other restaurants in MP will give. Atmosphere is good for families. Pure veg.

I have great experience in Shree Ganaga. Quality of the food is very good and price is affordable for the quality. Service is also great. Since I am visiting regularly there is sence of homeliness. One suggestion - There is a very nice Tulsi Plant ☘️ outside the shop. Currently lot of empty pots, .. are placed next to it. It would be nice to have a small pedestal for Tulsi plant. I am sure this will add more beauty to place.

Everything is very good atmosphere, Service and Food. They Cashier on counter didn't ask properly I wanted Cold coffee he directly told me to pay 120 rs after I checked price there was option available of 90 rs or 120 which he needs to ask me before taking order.

So I wanna eat pastry 🍰, i am finding place where to eat and my brother tells me to eat there so we take 1 baked samosa 1 pastry and a choco lava cake , after taking first bite i was like ummm so tasty and we ordered a paneer samosa and a choco lava cake again yesterday we were the last customer of shree Ganga it was a very good experience

Decent place to take a break if you are traveling from Indore to Ujjain. Food is decent and have nice seating place. Thali is popular here, you can give it a try. Prices are affordable.

In Ujjain Sweet bole to Shree Ganga Sweet. Well maintained quality and taste. So many options of snacks also. I specifically love Paneer Petis i never taste Paneer patis like this anywhere.

Shri Ganga is one of the nicest restaurant in Ujjain, I can't stand the thought of cooking dinner for another day. They have a great selection of meals, but I would recommend the Dine In option. When you order this option, they bring the food to your table and it saves you so much time! I am never disappointed with my order.

Great rasmalai and gol guppe (Pani puri). They don't have suji gol gappe and no sanitizer but they have a hand washing area.

This place is not what it used to be. Service is slow, staff does not listen for help. The food they make has lots of hing or salt. Last time I went there I had to wait for 30 mins to get a dosa after reminding them that I had ordered and they gave me a little burn dosa.
