Good Hotel with decent well maintained rooms. Staff is gentle but very rigid to providing room in advance and also doesn't let u check out later than 11PM. They start calling you and making it a serious that many customers are waiting for room and when you see at reception there are no guest and no bags. Adding on to this- they also switch off ac from backend directly without your notice. They have a policy of Save energy. If you looking out for this property- Avoid the on the left and right side of the lift mainly 01-04 of each floors and the neighbors are constructing something and they will not let you relax - Drilling, hammering and cutting noise all over the place. Rooms - Good Water availability- Hot and Cold both Soap, shampoo and shower gel available Food os ordered from outside not in-house. Staff courtesy- Fine. Not Customer friendly. Location- Good. 500 meters from Mahakaal on main road. Parking - Available

Not so good but manageable as toilets are clean and nicy maintained. They charged extra from us online saying premium room which is no special but same as other rooms. So be aware while paying and booking rooms online. Near to twmple but not so very near to the temple, with the new corridor you would have to walk for about 20-25 mnts from this hotel. If you have elders take an autorickshaw to the nearest drop point

I Stayed Here For 4 days.... The Rooms Were Small.... They Repeat The Same Breakfast everyday....A Cup Of Tea Costs 35 Bucks.... I Don't Think This Hotel. is a good choice.... Only If U Want A Location Nearer to the Mahakaleshwar Temple Then U Can Prefer This order..... Or u may also check other hotels which are far nearer to the temple then this Hotel

Hotel ambience is good , Just price is high . They will start breakfast after 8:30 or More , so while booking book room without breakfast fast , at 800 mtr there is good hotel satyug restaurant you can get food and lunch n much more .

One of the best hotel. Mahakaal temple is just walking distance from the hotel. Rooms are neat and tidy with all amenities- Geyser, AC, TV. The hotel also has lift facility. Staff is polite and efficient. It is located on the main road so you can easily get transport to visit other temples- Kaal Bhairav Temple, Harsiddhi Mata Mandir, Gadhkalika Mata Mandir... Hotel is at walking distance from Mahakal Tample. Located near to Ujjain railway station. Only thing the hotel should improve upon is food. Though the breakfast was good, the other in room food is average.

Near to Mahakaleshwar temple say around 400 mtrs. There are hotels on the mahakelswar Marg like Hotel Nandi which are more nearer to the temple. Property is well maintained. Not sure of breakfast quality as we ha e not opted for it. There is a lift facility. However this is a smal lift

Hotel Kalpana is good for staying near Mahakaleshwar Temple Ujjain. It takes 5mins to reach the Temple by walk. In a hotel, there is no restaurant so you have to arrange food from outside.

One of the worst management I’ve came across. I meet with an accident that’s why requested for a cancellation. My cancellation window closed 12’O clock in the night & I called 8am in the morning. Owner is blaming make my trip for refund while mmt is blaming hotel for not issuing a refund. Even hotel is denied the date change. Personally I had discussion with property manager Mr. Nitin & he’s blaming mmt for not making any refunds also denied a date change.

I have been in this hotel in the year 2021. It is very clean hotel, near Mahakaleshwar and they are very nice people. You won't believe it that i booked for jan 2024 and can't go due to my son's exam. They refunded the entire amount paid in advance inspite of being paid offline. Very decent & comfortable place to stay. Hot water for bath available always. Clean rooms & excellent service. Short walkable distance to Mahakaal marg & main temple area gates.

Just talked to a person for booking 2 AC rooms. He offered and was just behind to book rooms with advance in so hurry that to in 10 minutes. still forwarded advance and he refused to initiate receipt. and asking more money as advance with insensible reasons. Once refused to pay more advance started with rubbish language and insensible words. Looks like fraud. PL DO NOT BOOK ROOM ONLINE.

I was allocated Room no -204 1. Fittings in washroom were damaged 2. Window not locking properly 3. Everytime I had to call a technician / staff to switch on the AC 4. Complimentary breakfast was average. Had expected better.

It was a very good ambience at Kalpana Palace. The hospitality was very good coupled with the complimentary breakfast which was mouth watering. We recommend this is a very good place for stay as this very close to Mahakaleswar Temple, Ujjain

We stayed with family for one night. hotel was clean and very well maintained, room service was good. However they don't have their own kitchen, food we can order anytime and it was brought from outside. Taste wise it is good. Checkout time is 10am which is quite early. Overall service was good. Staff was quite informative. Hotel is very close to temple and a lot of nearby restaurants.

Nice and clean rooms, located very close to mahakaleshwar mandir. You can have their buffet breakfast at Rs 200 per person which they prepare at the hotel itself, rest lunch and dinner they procure from outside. A good option would be to go to Satyug restaurant which is just 5 minutes walk from the hotel and have fresh and tasty breakfast, lunch and dinner at less price.

I had a one day perfect stay at Hotel Kalpana. Facilities you can get - Walking distance to Mahakaleshwar Temple. Polite and helpful staff Pure veg Balanced breakfast Cab service Location is on Main Road. As a female traveller I found this a safe and pocket friendly option for Ujjain stay. It's best within 1 KM from the Main Temple. Location is on main road so u can walk down to temple at mid night also. I booked a cab for Omkareshwar and then for Nagda both drives droped me safely to the destination. Note :- book it as soon as you are planning as the property what I found is high on demand. For my 3days of stay at Ujjain I only can get one day booking, then I moved to another hotel. Attention for female travellers- don't book hotel sunshine.its highly unsafe.

Rooms were very good and the service was also good, they can improve on food service and parking space in future but it was good time to spend in Ujjain. They have hotel cars for moving around the city and nearby like omkareshwar Jotirling..! Nice time to spend with family. Reception boys helped me on famous spots of Ujjain..! Good service by hotel ...keep it up..!!
