This is a pretty famous n quite old roadside restaurant. Started as a simple highway dhaba n over the years has grown tremendously. During our every visit to Ujjain, meal at Meghdoot dhaba is a kind of tradition. Its easily identifiable from the main highway. If u r traveling towards Ujjain, its comfortably on left side, but if u r coming out of Ujjain, then u will have to cross to other side. There is a road divider, but its lined with the adjoining water park n resort. So u may have to travel on the other side for some distance. There is lot of parking space at the front of the hotel. But the guard insists on taking ur car to the inside parking. The road to this parking is a lil narrow and becomes a hassle on bsy days (weekends). TIP - So insist on parking in the front area. There are probably 3 outdoor sitting areas, the innermost, the biggest. The one on right side is for alcohol I guess!! Though the open spaces look lucrative but points to keep in mind 1) The lighting in these areas is poor....wont b able to differentiate between onion n insect...both will b crunchy (yuk!!!!!). 2) It gets very crowded 3) Mosquitoes are a nuisance, esp summers. 4) Its hotter in summers than indoors They had at least 2 sets of washrooms.separate for men & women. One was near the entrance n the other near the rear parking. The hygiene was not maintained. They have soaps n water but cleanliness was missing. Still they were usable after a journey on the highway. So we chose to sit indoors. This was spacious and had tables which bud accommodate up to 12pax. We were 9 n had no issues. The waiters were courteous, prompt n quite helpful, despite the huge crowd they were serving. Food arrived pretty fast n was decently tasty. Hygiene may be an issue as the onion salad looked dirty n old. Better opt for cooked than raw foods n stick to bottled water. All in all u can visit this place n give it a try while u r in Ujjain.

Bakwaas!!!! Services are worst!!! Nobody listens, Nobody responses!! Even when we tried to talk manager they said not available and even they were not listing complains... Pathetic services!!! Even utensils were not clean! Not recommend to anyone... Don't go and save your time! If they would have -ve ratings I would give them -10/10.. Poor services and poor people!

You can't sleep properly as it's location 😞😞 is near to Nanakheda Bus Stand, so noisy environment always disturbs you. Food isn't that delicious and the service also isn't that good. Also they charge room depending upon the prevailing situation around Ujjain Nagar. During rush there charges also gets increased drastically. Rooms - 2 star Service - 1 star Location - 3 Star

Comfortable hotel! Stayed there for 2 days in a triple Sharing room. Was scared about the hotel looking at the reviews, but still went ahead and booked the room. The room was pretty comfortable and just beside the Teen Batti chauraha. Very near to some nice restaurants- Raj Kumar’s delight and hotel Shree Ganga ! Hot water is available 24/7. Room service option Available and they are very attentive. Checked in a few hours early , no questions asked we were assigned our room.

I would strongly recommend to not go this place for food. Pathetic experience. Dishes were literally not cleaned plus the service was extremely slow. Can’t imagine to go this place again.

This hotel is charging very high compared to the room offer. Rooms are very poor check before booking.

We have booked this hotel for our stay in Ujjain. Booked online, room was very small and has very dirty door mate and it was changed by them. Water was leaking from commod. We were very late, tired and with our small baby hence did not ask to change the room. Overall not recommended to stay.

Buses going from Ujjain towards Bhopal are parked just next to the hotel and also its a boarding point from Ujjain so all the buses are parked here and movement of passenger and buses is frequent also some card washing activity is done here .. So overall it is a bit noisy area but other wise its good

Meghdoot is always a place to go out for dinner, as it's located on the outskirts of the city. There are different sitting areas for families and stags, which is good in some sense but the stags section needs lots of improvement. Anyways, food is good as always, even if it is dal khichadi....

Very good hotel for the price offered. We stayed there for one night. Staff was very responsive. They don't have in house restaurant but I don't think there is need for one either as there are many restaurants around the hotel at walking distance. Also, they have a kitchen where we were able to use the gas and utensils for our kid's milk. Overall very good.

Photos are deceiving. No parking space. Staff behaviour is below average and act oversmart. Only good thing is near Mahakal Temple

A good place for some delicious dhaba style food. They have a huge range of food options and are located right on the highway. The prices are a bit on the higher side. The food is good, but can take some improvements. Also, the food is pretty spicy. Overall a decent place in this area.

Good place to have lunch dinner with family and friends while traveling between indore ujjain. Experience dhaba & restaurant as well as resort under one roof separately. Little bit costly compare to ujjain's other places.

Ordinary hotel near Nanakheda Bus Stand. You can feel noise of buses etc whole night . Food items ordinary. Rent is not fix. They charges according to the situation .If there is rush in Ujjain they will increase rent of the room four times.

A good stay. The room was clean and spacious and staff was humble. The Hotel gives a good stay experience situated near the Railway station.

Go 2 hrs before ur meal or else order, go out chill nd come back to have ur food..or while can order while going to temple and can have ur food after dharshan. Worse taste. I visited this place last month after quite a long time. Earlier the food was delicious but this time i didn't find the same taste. Service was prompt, but the tables chairs were not upto the standard. Kids can enjoy the horse ride inside the campus too.

The taste is worse of the worse, we ordered Biryani and to our surprise it tasted and looked like veg pulao and that too without Raita which comes with a additional cost of 170rs. All the food is super oily and tastes worser than a roadside cheap restaurant. The cost of the dishes is very high

Quite disappointed from the service. No Arrangements for veg food nearby. and the food that they are offering is not at all good. We searched for food in nearby localities but can't find a proper veg food center so then decided to buy the food they offered and believe what it was one of the worst meals that i had. The tea that they gave for 20₹ was ridiculous 🤮. Worst quality ever. Well room was of decent quality at the price thay gave. They told to give room at 1100 but later offered same for 600-700 LoL. So try to reduce the price and you will get it at decent price. Well if anyone face the same problem of veg meal then you may visit Mahakal area. their you may get what u want.

The rooms are nice and airy. The food is good. The place also has a chartered bus service office running in the same building. It also overlooks the nearby bus stand from where buses ply in various directions to different states. So it is really convenient to stay in this hotel and catch an overnight or a day bus

Need to work out to serve good quality food ..price range is bit costly serving item.. Be reasonable in pricing and serve best ...
