Do not recommend. Only Staff is nice and tries to help. But the management is very poor. Also hotel is run down and not maintained. Clueless totally. We had confusion during check in and check out both. Needs a deep overhaul. In cleaning and repair. They seem overwhelmed and unable to manage bigger numbers. Rooms are big but the cleanliness can be much better

It would love to visit the hotel again. The quality of service and staff was well mannered. The hotel is situated at the center so you can access every nook and corner of the city. The food was very tasty and the quality was also maintained at the same time. We family enjoyed a lot in the hotel and we got special assistance in the play ground from the hotel staff. Overall a good experience. We would like to visit again.

Very pathetic service I had ever experienced. No hotel management was there, staff was not available, phone lines are dead, house keeping staff was not available. I would not recommend anyone to stay in this hotel and kindly choose other hotels to get the comfort in exchange of your precious bucks. Rating 1/10 (on the basis of stay for 3 days)

One of the oldest hotels in Ujjain, Usually it's busy and renowned for corporate events. Good place for wedding and other related event purpose. Affordable and Comfortable. Ashray for all the tourist.

Terrible experience with hotel Ashray, Ujjain. Gave us room without informing that parking facility will be available after few hours and till then I have to either sit in the car itself to guard it or leave it on the road. They assured that whenever the parking slot will be available, which was expected by 1 in the night, so I can come out of my sleep to park the car in proper place. When I argued, they forced us to vacate the room and leave the hotel. Perfect example of pathetic service and rudeness.

My stay at the hotel was very pleasant. The rooms were clean and tidy and the staff was always ready to help in any which way. Service was top notch. The food was very delicious. Highly recommendable!! Would return soon…

Pathetic experience. Staff is rude and negligent. Poor management, they aren't cooperative. They provide food when they wish to otherwise they say kitchen got closed. We asked them to extend the checkout for 1 hr (which normally hotels do provide) but they straight away refused without even asking the room numbers and checking the next bookings on their system. I would never recommend to anyone until they have no other options.

Worst hotel in Ujjian Booked the ground floor party hall for birthday party. Extremely poor management Staff not cooperative We hired our own catering and Ashray staff is so cheap they came and steal huge amount of food. On top of that started fighting for taking food for their entire staff who were not even hired or part of our program. Ridiculous supervisor started to switch off the lights while the program was going on. Seems the staff was drunk and creating nuisance in our program. Charged a lot and failed to provide not even descent service. Would never recommend this hotel to anyone rather such hotels should be banned.

Very old hotel, need renowation and all ACs needs to be changed. We booked 2 rooms and 1 room's AC wasn't working and other AC cooling was also very low even in night. Far away from Mahakaleshwar temple and you have to park your car outside hotel. Bathroom towel stand is very dirty, so hotel staff has started keeping towels on dressing table. Overall it needs to be refurbished and staff also needs to be upgraded. Indeed staff is very helpful.

Unhygienic, No room service standards. Property is vast but its useless. Kitchen area is in pathetic condition. Paid 2600 for double occupancy for just 1 night. Room condition was also bad, bed sheet was not cleaned, bathroom was dirty, they don't provide toiletries, asked for towel 10 times and then they provided, no napkins, No room cleaning. Think before you book the room, they says they are full and all rooms are booked but it's not. Not worth to stay

Rooms are spacious, food is very good but expensive though.. Service time for food is to be improved.. reviews stated staff is negative however I felt staff is polite and supportive.. since revamp of property going on feels deserted for the place..

IF YOU ARE READING THIS REVIEW, DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL. I with 5 other family members stayed in the hotel for 3 nights and we were frustrated for all the 3 nights that we stayed their because of pathetic services. We checked in @10pm on the first day and ordered the food. Plates were dirty, spoons were dirty and they took more than an hour to deliver the food that we ordered. When i asked them to change the plates and bowls, they took 30 minutes to do that and we kept waiting to eat the food. The food was unbelievably spicy and none of us had the dinner after all the travel. We used to come back late night, @10:30 or so and we used to call them atleast for 7-8 times to get the housekeeping done. AC was leaking and bedsheets were not clean. They know nothing about the Hospitality, Servicing, Hygiene, Cleaning. About the room service- They will keep saying Aa rha h madam ldka aa rha h, they even lie ki gate par khda h. But believe me they have not provided us with anyyyyy service on time. They take more than an hour to deliver anything you will ask for. After all this, when i denied to pay the full amount, the guy faught with me for over an hour and even said - TU SIRF EK LADKI HAI, KUCH NHI KAR SKTI. He was a non sense guy and kept fighting while we were missing our flight. These guys made our experience of visit ujjain, very very tough, as comfort and service is all that somebody will ask for after a tiring day. I WILL REPEAT MY WORDS, DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL. THEY ARE GOOD FOR NOTHINGGGG.

Overall a pathetic experience and all this is due to the night manager. There were no towels provided, and upon asking, the behaviour of the manager on night duty was extremely rude. Further, the TVs were not working and no help was provided by the night duty manager. This guy has ruined the entire experience and carries a pathetic behaviour. The bathrooms were smelling pathetic and no resolution. I suggest to look for better options .

Service of hotel was worst, They didn't had the cook in the morning for breakfast. The cleaning services is very bad. The Hotel is under construction so its not highly maintained.Not worth it

Hotel is located at the middle of the city and temples and mahakaal lok is easy to reach. Food provided during our stay was high on quality and taste was awesome. Service staffs are always ready to help and will take good care of their guest. We as a family had a very good time during our stay at the hotel and surely will come again. Highly recommended!!!

Great location with Good service and Very nice food. Staff is very helpful. This is my third visit and the dishes have a Consistent flavour. I was served well by Mr. Naresh Gupta. The other staff members checked on us frequently. Due to its location I can reach the temple easily. Will surely come back again.

My worst hotel experience in the past 10 years of travelling. Despite the advance booking the rooms were very dirty. In fact, they were being used by someone else. We could smell the cigarette smoking. After a complain, they roughly cleaned the room while we watched them cleaning it. The next day, despite the fact that we informed them that we might come back (as the room was designated to us until 11 AM). But to our surprise, they checked us out as early as 8AM, when we returned. They agreed to provide us another room after some arguments but even that room was dirty and beyond cleaning. I will suggest to book some other hotel as neither the rooms nor the service are worth the rent. It is still about 3 km away from Mahakaleshwar jyotirlinga.

Hotel Ashray is located at a very prime location of Ujjain. This beautiful hotel have large size room and the staff is very helpful. Even the food which they serve, is very delicious and affordable. The only issues with the parking. You have to park your vehicle outside the hotel and uncovered parking area. Recommended hotel if you are travelling to Ujjain.

Rooms were comfortable and newly built. All required amenities were there. Food was good and homely, Felt good. It is at an acceptable distance from the busy area of main temple. You can take auto for 100-150 rupees and travel comfortably.

The hotel stay was great. It has a Parking facility which is the main reason to choose. Has good service and rooms. Good interior as well. It is a bit away from Mahakal jyotirlinga temple.

Intercom are not working. Electric fittings is poor mobile charging point is not working. House keeping is not available.
