I went to Ujjain for 1 day to visit Mahakaleshwar Temple and stayed in this amazing lodge at very nominal price. At first, when I checked some of the reviews about Agroha Lodge, I was suspicious about whether my choice is right or not, but after reaching there, I was amazed and quite pleased with the behavior and friendliness of the owner (Ms. Goyal). Rooms and washrooms were very clean, at par with any 3-star Hotel with RO drinking water. I reached there in morning at around 5:30 a.m. and she even allowed me and family to check-in before time. All the temples are within a handful reach to this lodge and the nearby markets also. I must say that I will be staying there only every time I am gonna visit Ujjain again.

It cost around ₹650/day ( 9:30 AM Checkout ) In my opinion it’s the best place to stay if you have a tight budget 😅 One more thing, this place is not for old age people, because there is no lift available and also the stares are narrow and bulging for them to pass through! Few more points I would like to add; - Self service - No food service available - Rooms are clean ( Small ) - Hot water for shower 🚿 is available - AC & Non-AC both rooms available - Humble staffs In total, a nice place to stay only if you have low/tight budget.

Sheets were dirty but room was okay as per it's price

Just ok for stay only in night, lady owner make her charge for book cab, just waste of money

After I finalized the room then i found below things, i had no power to move more and other hotels were already completely filled, no option to bargain too much. Here i am giving 3 stars to rooms because rooms were cleaned & looked good. But not comfortable. No food and drinking water facility, go your self out and find. And now why I don't like this place more. reason is the owner of this place, She was an opportunist, she knew i had no where to go, she charged to much. She was very confusing and had rude behaviour. She denied for online payment, if you don't have cash then get out from here, according to her. It made me shortage of cash. ADVICE - don't let anyone know that, this is your first visit in Ujjain, they shall charge you too much. Sometimes i were successful to bargain and sometimes i had no choice to pay as they demanded.

Very pathetic and bad experience. The moment we enter the room, it was very dirty and smelly. The bathroom has sink full of hairs and lints. The whole bathroom has very dirty floors and has no shower. The lady owner was very rude and ill-mannered having no sense of hospitality and cleanliness. We have given Rs 2000 for 15 mins stay which she refused to return. We have left the place as soon as possiblpossibleposspossib

Good for friends or group having 5-6 members.

Budget friendly, and hotel staff is polite. Washrooms need maintenance.
